Time to place your bets

Recommended Posts

A debate that's been raging since the end of the Muscle car era in the early 1970s is finally addressed.  My Money's on the Chevelle SS

I'll admit to a bit of bias here, as I once owned a '68 Chevelle SS 396, a '69 Charger R/T 440, a '69 and a '70 AMX 390, and a '69 Mustang GT ragtop (with a 351 Windsor).  And, I never paid more than $1800 US for any of them!  Of course, that was back in the mid-late 1970s, when all them were considered to be nothing more than "normal" used cars.

Enjoy!

Reminds me of my 68 Chevelle!  The days of my youth. Lots of cruising and many late nights with the guys talking about who had the fast and meanest car. Of course the price of gas back then was affordable to waist gas!

never bet against a 1984 Yugo GT

Yugo ? I bet on light blue smoking Trabant RS. "Two stroke, too cool".

1966 Chevy Nova SuperSport (327V8 built). Man I miss that ride.
