+NeverEnough Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 The StrikeFighters2 extractor dated 4/1/2012 should do the trick. This should be in the download section here, or you can get it from the Thirdwire site. Quote
+Wrench Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 and only use SF2 files IN SF2. While some are the same, many have had SIGNIFICANT changes Quote

While some are the same, many have had SIGNIFICANT changes but i know from lot of skinners/modders they use lods out of sfp1 i don't going to use any of it i am going to see something. that i want to keep a secret for now but if its works you all going to enjoy it... it has nothing to do with objects planes etc.. just trust me i did these things a lot for other games. overhauling the main game. or changing psyhics etc. The StrikeFighters2 extractor dated 4/1/2012 should do the trick. logan4 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Actually, you don't, if you modified some ini parameters then better to leave the new file in the mod install main flight/menu, etc folder than overwrite your original cat file. The old SF1 extractor did create a cat file, but most likely you not gonna be able to use it for SF2. Quote

+Wrench Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 yes, just like I linked in another post of your --- all extracted files go in their respective folders in THE MODS FOLDER -- you really need to re-read and fully understand the whole mods folder concept but i know from lot of skinners/modders they use lods out of sfp1 only if it's not an airplane, and if they don't get caught. Sharing/Uploading 3W lods is subject to expulsion and perma-banning from CA (and yes, there are a few lingering around) over 80% of the SF2 aircraft have been completely remapped from their SF1 versions. The skins are different as are decal locations Quote
