   Love your USAFE unit art work on the F-86A models.  Outstanding!  You've plugged an important hole in the '50s European theatre with these and the F-86F skins.  Thanks.

 

   Got a question on the A model cockpit.  Is it supposed to have the gray line down the middle of the windshield?

Yes.

Early F-86A had a 2-piece windshield with a "hard edge". The line is where the 2 pieces meet.

   Glad it stays.  I was having a devil of a time trying to figure out how to get rid of it and keep the glass.

yes, the windscreen had a kind of "V" shape to it, which unfortunately, the external model is lacking. But the view out from the pit is pretty correct.

 

The E and later had the single piece flat panel, as seen in the new cockpit, and all the external views of the aircraft.
