stuntman Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Hey guys, I've been playing a bit with fakepilots lately, and i was wondering if there is a way to apply specular, glossiness and reflection to them, just like any metallic skin?
Wilches Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Not sure, but it seams that they used the same parameters of the whole thing.
stuntman Posted March 23, 2016 Author Posted March 23, 2016 I made a few trials, but no luck at the moment
+Stary Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 maybe by texture definition in it's data.ini? Like in airplanes textures? That assumed you ask about existing fakepilot meshes not the new one you work on, as then it's via Max's material's settings
+76.IAP-Blackbird Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Nope, you can`t achieve is with only max settings, Dennis did a great thing with the Mirage 2 seater addons ... He used Specular and Bumpmaps for this effect .. there you can barely see the difference between fp parts and the plane itself
stuntman Posted March 25, 2016 Author Posted March 25, 2016 Oh alright, i'll have a look in max then. Thanks to all
