USMC Questions (Semper Fi)

Recommended Posts

Hey to all the USMC and military members of CombatACE

I was watching a very interesting Youtube video about the making of a United States Marine. From day one to graduation day. The changes made from A to Z.

Anyway in the video I noticed some guys wearing shirts with ITC DI on their back. I know DI is Drill Instructor but what does ITC mean?

Also

On the firing range the guy wearing a white explorer hat (that's what it looks like to me sorry I meant no disrespect). Told a recruit "Remind me to make sure you get C-O-P for that bolt."

What does COP mean?

And what's with the white hat?

That is all. Thank you all for your time, your service, and patience.

Semper Fi.

i am not in the USMC (i'm Canadian), but i think that ITC stands for ''Individual Training Course'' which is a SpecOps course.

As for the COP thing, no clue

But the white hat guy must be the firing range officer if he is the only one to wear this hat...

COP is actually "CLP, Cleaner, Lubricant, Protectant." CLP is the standard U.S. weapons lube for normal conditions.

As said above, The dude in the Pith Helmet is Rifle Range Cadre.
