Honestly have no idea, but but can the game utilize and benefit from SLI/Crossfire? On the same note will there be a noticeable difference between the 970 and the 1070 or there's absolutely no point in changing my 970 or adding an extra card?

I would say if you have a card it currently works on and you like SF2 keep that........what driver version are you running? are you getting slow down?

According to TK, none of the Thirdwire titles support SLI.

As a side note, I was recently watching a video review on the latest (1000 series) Nvidia cards, and the reviewer opined that this may be the last generation of cards that supports SLI.

Well, currently i have a 970. It works fine but i really want to push the graphics for Stary's Mods abit more so i was thinking of getting another 970 for SLI. Then i checked the new 1070 and the new Multi Screen Projection tech on the 1070 looks really interesting for getting a multi monitor set up.

In any case, i have already decided on the 1070. My 3770 is really old and i failed to secure a new board for dual GPU configuration.

Thank you for the answers.
