I am trying to change one of the weapons to use CBU-10 or 12 LGB, how do I enter it in load out?

 

Example=mk82se is a 500lb snakeye bomb

you'll have to edit your air craft data ini which is found  in objects/aircraft/f-111f   f-111f_Data ini  scroll down till you find this,,,, used this to simplfy things,, you'll have to edit all weapon stations that you want that weapon to appear on..

I am playing desert storm and using the f-15e. The load out for a strike campaign only has 4 sidewinders and 2 wing tanks. I changed to centerline tank and 4 agm-65d. I find it hard to believe I can't change sidewinders to sparrows either but when I play campaign not all weapons available in single mission are available in campaign mode.

 

 

Also is there a way to make more "items" available? Only have a few sidewinders and I think I will need more over the course of the campaign

 

LGB is already there. What I am looking for is the acronym (if you can call it that) to get it there

 

Loadout[04].WeaponType=? Is what I am looking for.

 

Currently it says GBU-12D_AI and that is not it. I am looking for the LGB version and how to enter it

I got the new version of that plane, f-15e strike eagle, you can't do anything from load out file unless the aircraft data ini has been edited for that weapon I don't recall changing anything on that bird because it was up to snuff when it came out of the box,,here is what the new f-15e strike eagle data ini looks like at the weapons portion of that file,,.. What could have something to do with your problem is in options at the start of the campaign you have 3 choices on weapon supply,, Limited, Normal, and Unlimited weapons as choices,, even the older 15E I never really touched it as modding it,, but I sure use parts off it on others.

I am able to manually put GBU 12 or 10 on RCFT or LCFT in single mission but it is the dummy version. Myself and wingmen all show it as default in the load out screen.

 

The problem is when I play the Campaign the dummy version is not available in "item" list only the LGB version. I can manually install on my bird but my wingmen have nothing but sidewinders

 

I have tried entering it in many different ways

 

GBU-12B_AI is the dummy version (which will work in single mission player as default loadout but like I said it's not an available "item" in campaign play)

 

I have tried GBU-12B_LGB and other variations but to no avail

Odds are the bomb you're looking for is just "GBU-12D".  It has been a while since I've worked with the Gen1 sims, but you should have a weapondata.ini that lists all of the weapons available.  There should be a line within each entry that is the weapon's name (e.g., FullName=AIM-7E Sparrow).  If you do a Ctrl+F for GBU-12, you should be able to sort through the available variants of the GBU-12, their attachment type, guidance, etc.  For example (from SF2), the GBU-12D data should look something like this:

In your loadout.ini, you'd use the TypeName on the specific pylon you're trying to arm.  For example:

As to why you don't have them available in the campaign, I'm not sure.  Could have to do with supply availability, entries in the campaign data.ini, etc.

is this what you are looking for I just edited this today {like right now} to the wing stations in the Data ini [sAHM] so it wasn't like this before. you only get two sparrows,,, to load that to ai is beyond me,,I would like to know how to do that my ai f-111fs won't load so I fly solo

If you play a campaign, you also have to edit the data ini file of the campaign

(in the campaign folder, and if it's a stock campaign you will have to have the data ini file of the campaign extracted by yourself, with the cat extractor...)

Thanks for all your help guys. I finally got it the way I want it but I did so much editing I kind of lost myself for a minute so it would be hard to explain.

 

What I wound up with though on a strike mission is 4 agm-65d and 4 gbu10d and 1 centerline tank.

with the 4 gbu load can you get sparrows along with the sidewinders

you got a step by step way to edit stock campaigns right from  finding and downloading the extractor to finished product I'd like to stick in a b-52 and do a series
