I'm sorry I do not speak good English language
I have a problem sf2
When the old jets will be installed in sf2
Everything works just motors without flame and smoke
I've read this page, but I could not solve my problem
Please help me

Sounds like you need to put the effects in the effects folder. Could you provide an example of an aircraft you're having issues with?

effects in sfp1have different struction  to SF2 effects.best way is to install a big effect pack from CA(this site).

for example afterburnner of mirage IVP that uploaded in CA last month didnt work apparently.

but this week i installed my old mirage 2000 pack.(TMF product).and you see the afterburners of mirage IVP  work.

this problem is happen in weapons too.and the same way install a large pack of weapons for SF2.

Wouldn't it simpler to just try and locate SF2 versions of the aircraft in question? (and you'd still need to tell us which ones they are)

I've solved my problem
I am using the StrikeFighters2 Vietnam
I've download f16 skins from this site and After installing it Engines without flame and smoke
In the Effects folder I opene ini file of f-16
and I added This code
EffectShaderName = effectLightLevel.fx
After [ViperSmokeTrailMaterial] And [F100AB]
Then I save ini file and tested gmae And worked properly

other than the fact that nothing of C5's site has been updated since (maybe) 2009!!! Those are best left in SF1/Wo*
