This is all pretty awesome! What about when an aircraft is damaged? Cause in my mind I would only do a belly landing If my landing gear is shot to pieces... does the skid still work of the aircraft is damaged?

if you lose your landing gear, Skid will not be destroyed.

Even in that case you can Belly landing.
