+1977Frenchie Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 View File CP-140 Aurora To be used on Florian CP-140 ONLY. These skins represent the Hi-Viz and Low-Viz schemes used by the RCAF on their CP-140's Aurora. The serial numbers in this skin pack along with planes numbers fit per the squadrons they are (or been) with. Some minor details might be different then real life CP-140 as i have not been able to change this as they were model related or decal would not show up properly. You will get the following skins in this package : 407 Squadron :Hi-Viz : Early schemeLow-Viz : Late scheme 415 Squadron :Hi-Viz : Early schemeLow-Viz : Late scheme Two installation choice : SKINS ONLY (assuming you have the Florian CP-140 already installed): Copy the FOLDERS of the current pack objects/aircraft folder in your game CP-140 aircraft folder.Copy the FOLDERS of the current pack decal folder in your game CP-140 decals folder. Open the Textureset.ini and edit the file by adding the texture.ini lines. Copy these 2 files : CP-140_Loading & CP-140_Hangar from this pack objects/aircraft folder to your game CP-140 folder. COMPLETE AIRCRAFT : Copy the CP-140 aircraft folder content to your game aircraft folder.Copy the CP-140 decals folder content to your game decals folder. +Menrva Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 Great skins! Thanks for sharing, 1977Frenchie! I was wondering, when was the low-viz scheme introduced exactly? I was looking for info, the best I found was that the change between hi-viz and low-viz happened during the 80s.
+1977Frenchie Posted July 10, 2017 Author Posted July 10, 2017 My pleasure to share! It is common sense for me to give a little to this great community of this site as i could grab (and make better) my SF2 sim :) I enjoy doing skinning from time to time (back in the Pacific Fighters era). Currently working on another little project :) As for the introduction of the Low-Viz scheme, i remember having seen some transport aircrafts painted this way in 1993. But it could be before this :) 1
Wilches Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 Simply beautifull! Do you have a multi-layer template? Wish you all the best!
