Impossible to delete a mesh !

Recommended Posts

Hello, :hi:

From the TMF Nesher LOD file I can't delete the second "TACAN" mesh on the top of the fuselage !

Indeed when I have a look with the mue tool I saw another mesh has the same "tacan" name...

I've tried several "ParentComponentName" or given a priority order from the data.ini file.

Component[008]=Delete1
Component[009]=Delete2
Component[010]=Delete3

[Delete1]
ParentComponentName=Nose
ModelNodeName=tacan
DestroyedNodeName=tacan
DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE
HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE

[Delete2]
ParentComponentName=Fuselage
ModelNodeName=Objet03
DestroyedNodeName=Objet03
DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE
HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE

[Delete3]
ParentComponentName=VertTail
ModelNodeName=tacan
DestroyedNodeName=tacan
DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE
HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE

Please what do you think ? From the beginning... I like :heart: the Mirages created by the TMF and I would like fly a "short nose" Mirage 5 from their Nesher.

Best regards,

Coupi.

Maybe one of the "tacan" has a space after or in front of the name (--> "tacan " or " tacan" or " tacan ")?

I think it is not possible to name 2 meshes with the exact same name, so there has to be a difference. Not having the Nesher available at the moment, so I cannot have a look myself.

Or use the Dagger.lod, which calls one of them 'uhf_top'...

I have tried the 11/08/2005 Dagger LOD.

Thanks for your help ! :drinks:

One of the complete Falklands packs has a Dagger.lod dated 28/05/2007. (This model is a bit more detailed than the earlier one.)
