RADAR DOES NOT WORK ON SOME AIRCRAFTS

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH RADARS IN SOME DOWNLOADED AIRCRAFTS

Hi, since i got SFP1, i downloaded some planes from this web site, like the F-15A Eagle and the F/A-18 Hornet.

The only problem is that some planes have a working radar, like vanilla planes, and some others doesn't even have it, and i don't know why.

All planes i downloaded are from "The Mirage Factory", and when i downloaded them for SFP1 on my old computer (the FX version of the game), they all had a working radar panel, but not now.

I don't think the problem is the plane packs that i downloaded, they' re all from TMF, and they all work well.

Please help me, cause i got no idea on how to fix this issue…

SF2 planes sometimes does not work in SF1 world.

You should check, wheter the downloaded planes are made for SF2 or SF1/WoX sims.

Then you should check which version of game do you use. Has you updated it to the last patch?

I am using only SFP1 planes, and some planes have a working radar (like the Hornet), and some not (like the Eagle)...

I don't know why, maybe i unzipped wrong some files, or put them in a wrong file section….. i got no idea.

I don't think i have the updated version of the game, i just downloaded it.. btw, i' m not sure, but i don't think that this problem is linked to the version i am using, and i don't think that's a problem of the specific plane packs i downloaded, cause they're all from TMF and they all work well…

THE PROBLEM IS: when i play with an Hornet (for example), i can toggle on or off the radar panel on the top right, and change the radar mode too, like all others vanilla planes; but when i play a plane like the Eagle or the Tomcat too, the radar panel does not appear, i press the button to activate it or change radar mode and nothing happens...

This is a very big issue, for example without radar i cannot see enemies detected, watch for incoming "SAMs" or even using a radar guided missle like the "Sparrow", if you have any idea or solution please let me know, i' m desperate…

Just a thought but is your Avionics70.dll file working right?

I just took a look at the TMF 1.0 version of both the FA-18A and the F-15A. The former is set to use the Avionics60.dll while the latter is set for the Avionics70.dll.
