Hello Everyone!!!

Im learning how to make campaings / single missions. im currently working on a 1950s / early 1960 clash between Argentine / Brasilian Navy Against Royal Navy / Australian Navy but im lacking escort ships.
I plan to take some ships, edit them to make Generic but i want to know what ships (and the download link if you can) would yo use in this roles:

Air Defense DD:
ASW DD:
Anti Surface CA:

Thanks :)

my suggestion

first look up what ships each side had in that time frame. England and Australia should be easy, best guess without looking up myself is that Argentine and Brasil would be using mostly WW2 surplus from the US and UK (yes, the UK).

then compare with the download section first for what there actually is, then what looks close if there is not exactly what you need. the ship sections in the Downloads is not that big (compared to aircraft skins or aircraft) and can be searched in under two hours if youre very thorough. 20 minutes if you skim.

interested to see how this goes. i like the what if scenarios, and like it best when they follow the minimal change rule of good alternate history

some 'generic' types, sometimes assigned to various countries are sometimes included within terrain mods. So, it'll take a bit more searching.

but, most definately, one needs to research what exactly they had, and what will stand in (the correct term) for what's not available.

RN would definately still have Tribals on inventory
