Kirby2012 Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 This probably is a silly question. But many of the Campaigns and Add-Ons contain a different or new Icon that can be used with the package. What is the procedure for correctly using them? Quote
DoctorQuest Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 I am not entirely sure I understand your question but let's try this... Any windows shortcut can have it's icon changed via the "Properties" tab available when you right-click on the shortcut. You can click Browse and navigate to a folder containing a different icon. You can even "borrow" an icon from a different exe. If that's what you are talking about we can go into more detail... 1 Quote

What is the procedure for correctly using them? Do you mean the SYSTEMMENUICON, SYSTEMMENUICONHI and systemmenuicondisabled BMP Files? Just drop them into the game folder (... \ Program Files \ ThirdWire \ Strike Fighters 2). Edited April 28, 2021 by Crawford Quote
Wrench Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 I think he's talking about shortcut icons. we've got all kinds around here. I know there should be a bunch in the SF1 downloads, 'cause I did 'em. They're easy enough to make. Where I put them, is right into the core install's main folder. Then, it's just a simple matter to change it like Dr. Quest said 1 Quote
