A good day to remember our past, hopefully we've learned something.  One thing about The Great War that has shaped us today, is that we can all take the bad parts and try to find the good from it.  We would like to have better days ahead.   Best to all, Steve

Actually, it was so good to see an actual full remembrance service here in the UK after COVID ruined previous gatherings.

Poor old Queen not well enough to attend, though I hope she gets some strength.

Plenty of sex and gin and an occasional annus horribilis to keep things spicy seems to be the secret. It's a royal tradition.

But that's not important. Lest we forget the lads and lasses who have died for their countries in conflicts through the ages. WW1 is particularly poignant because it was so stupid.
