I changed it yesterday and double checked the settings today. For all intensive purposes the feature should be available. Can we check this again? Thanks. -
Here is a link to that -> http://combatace.com/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=core&area=attachments Edit / Remove / as necessary to keep your content under the limit. You can also upload images to the Gallery with no restrictions and then link those images into your posts with no limitations on quantity or size. Erik

Yep that's it exactly. We don't accept .bmp images due to the low compression and size. Use a smaller format like gif / jpg / png etc.

Both the icon in the rich text editor to insert an image and the bulletin board code [img= ] work. -
This service will be restored sometime tonight. Erik

We'll have this service restored tonight. E -
Yeah I totally get it. Thanks for the info and please let me know if things get better. Our subscription platform actually works better by design because it pushes the file from our end and subscription accounts are allocated more resources on our machines, that's why it is a fee for service structure. I had a quick look at this and I agree with you and your concerns. I would not pretend to offer a half baked solution for you however a fully exposed iperf route to your machine to measure throughput is unrealistic. Packet loss, latency, busy routes, bucket bandwidth at fractional costs from providers and ISPs all play a part in file transfers. While we are on a high quality backbone things don't always or aren't always perfect. I noticed some relatively highly than normal retransmit value at our router and consequently bounced it. That should help at our main box which is what you pinged above. I also noticed that our mirror server is behind in getting the updates of files and had to stick my hand on that to get the files moving to the mirror again so the mirror link works grabbing the files from files.combatace.com. I would be interested to see what a route to that machine looks like from you. Regardless I'll keep my eyes on things and see what I can find. I'll keep you posted and we'll see what comes of things. Thanks for the report --- Erik

You can try to disable the flash loader. Use this link: http://combatace.com/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&hl=true If that's not it see the PM I just replied to. Thank you.

Fixed. Thanks. :) -
Post can be moderated. This is just a place holder.

I was going to shut the site down in observance of this great festive holiday, but I forgot. Old age side effect, sorta like looking in the mirror. You know you're getting older and uglier but since your eye sight is gone you don't notice. Thanks for the birthday wishes all. Here's hoping I don't get depends undergarments this year. Cheers!

It said prison. I'm praying there was a break-in or the jail is co-ed. Otherwise this is very disturbing news indeed.

I do get feedback and it helps to know what our audience prefers to see.

Miscommunication and perception of the facts, simply put. Nobody is out to single out your view points or censor you. Your post was removed (shown above) because someone thought it was a flame or offensive. I can see why and it is easy to do when people forget to stay on topic and refrain from making things personal. No big deal we move on. Unless of course you meant to say that I am a horrible one sided prick. Your post is great. I would have only posted this much of it however and it would have been just as affective. I hope that helps. Being a Moderator is NOT an easy job, it's completely thankless and sometimes we make mistakes or error on the side of caution to prevent an all out flame war. You eluded to tolerance and acceptance implying that "others" have none. I would hope that everyone thinks about that before they post. Unfortunately they don't and unfortunately we all have been there. At ease sir we're all friends here. -
Agreed ... Wells Chargo and I called it quits after 35 years of business recently. My most honest answer why is because I was tired of feeding the machine that does absolutely nothing for me that they don't charge me for anyway. My free checking was the last shred of dignity I had with them. I moved to something local and I can't tell you how amazing it is to walk in and have them know who I am. Expletive all those commercial large banks.

What forum are you trying to research? To change your viewing threshold in a forum go to the topic view page. This is the page where all the topics are listed in that specific forum. Scroll down and at the bottom of the topic list you'll see this link: "Click here to show filter options" You can adjust your view settings there. The search tool also will return older posts if you specify it in the advanced section. The forum automatically prunes older posts from view by default to keep things current. The older stuff is still accessible however. Hope that helps.
