Not really related but I have the thing mostly assembled from the F-4E(S) and am gonna do the ini edits now that I have the time, and just need CFTs which is inconvenient when the link takes me to this site's version of a 404 *Note: Have searched this site's Phantom downloads for comparable CFTs I could graft on and just pretend they're the original tanks but I'm blind or there isn't one.

Ok so, I was thinking, would an Ekranoplan be feasible? I don't have a model so it won't happen from me but I feel it'd just take making a very low agility aircraft with good thrust and lift but a service ceiling of like, a few meters. While. technically not actual ground effect, could be close enough for the purposes of this game. Also, with helicopters, has anyone considered like giving them invisible VTOL nozzles and TVC so they can hover/fly in weird ways like real choppers? I would test these out but I'm gonna be fully honest I'd probably break something (and have no 3d models at my disposal, like, I technically have access to like World of Warplanes models and War Thunder models, but I'd rather not like use them as "my own" work, and would rather just like look at their geometry and marvel at how cool they are. I'd feel bad editing them. Ig any specific places that have good aircraft models? I know the usual suspects but if you all have any like obscure sites you can direct me to that'd be sweet, thanks.)

Forgive me for asking, but I'm trying to use the La-15 Template to make a Parani La-15, and despite it being the same version of the La-15 and the same resolution, when I try to use the skin it shows up as a sort of all-black void skin, which is not what I was trying to achieve. Anyone got any ideas? Sorry if this is a dumb question I've tried it a few times and fiddled around but it doesn't work, I use GIMP to edit textures.

Hey, have you been planning on releasing some of the jets you've posted to this forum? The naval F-31, MiG-21F-13M2 and this East German Tigershark (among other things) would be awesome to get the chance to fly. (+ some screenshots of my own, since this is a screenshot thread. I didn't create ANY of these jets, of course, but I do still have some neat shots of them I felt like sharing. Also, for the Parani MiG-29K, I gave her some French weaponry [mostly because I thought it would be cool], and nicknamed her 'Saqr Al-Bahr' [which, IF google translate is correct, means Sea Hawk], still overall the same plane as the original mod by dast24 [which was already pretty cool] just with a few personal touches)

I sound like such a goober saying this lmao, but does anyone know how to give a radar the ability to actually acquire targets? Making a modernized F-111 (built on Fastcargo's F-111G) for myself and I have everything except the ARH capability, I can load the missiles, and the radar does search for targets and all, but when I press the keys to acquire targets, nothing happens, thus making the AMRAAMs all duds (which is counterintuitive)

I’ve only managed to figure out text editing, haven’t done much with models yet. Hmm If you can get the model working I could do the data.ini and such, but I don’t have enough experience with the models themselves to be of any use unfortunately.

Just wanted to ask, is there a way to disable specific base game content (specifically maps and jets) without deleting them outright? I really want to curate the aircraft and map list to the theme and a few of the game’s jets, but mostly the maps, do not fit that theme

Also, I have my eye on the old Hangar B F-32s (The CTOL, STOVL, and CV trio), since they're on sale right now, and have a royalty free license so it should be ok if I get them flying in SF2, still thought I'd ask before I make any decisions.

Ok so first off I'd like to say, unfortunately haven't gone on the modding escapades I thought I would, lot of unrelated personal stuff that ended up distracting me. Either way, I thought I'd ask, I've seen an F-32 and ASF-14/ST-21 on this site, however both have pretty low detail models, anyone considering making new ones/maybe even have a model lying around I could mess around with? Figured I'd ask before going on an internet excursion to find models of those jets.
