I still get a kick outa this when ever I come by. Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that. Happy Holidays Fellas...

PONG! ha ha,, just kidding but I remember that thing. Just a couple blips on a screen. Now look what we got. My favorite toy was I think they called it Verty Bird. Helo on a wire pretty much. Also those gas powered Cox airplanes on a wire where you turned in a circle until you puked after you sliced/whacked your finger trying to start the thing.

Oh really, Ereaser? Why pretend, we both know perfectly well what this is about. You want USAFMTL to have an abortion. -

They sound great! Appreciate the effort. Think you could find some old Ba Ba Black sheep episodes and record there flight transmissions? Just a thought; that would be neat though. -
Thanks CombatACE, Mod'ers and Community. Much obliged. Cheers! ALF

Sound problem
ALF replied to bobd's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Sidewinder, Thank you for your quick response and the link. Wow! I was lost with all the technical jargon and much reading but it resulted in a resolution, as far as my sound issue. It got me to thinking about the EAX issue such as the one in IL-2. I quickly switched to my EAX setting for that Sim and presto! Exterior sounds. I'm sure the rest will come with the learning curve of this engine. Much appreciated. ALF Bobd, I'm not sure we suffer the same fate -- as your sound issues seem of a different nature -- but and if your using a creative card try turning off / tweaking EAX or making some adjustments in that area. Speaker setup etc... -
Sound problem
ALF replied to bobd's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
I too am having sound issues. I bought SF (ValuSofts) about two years ago played it and boxed it back up for lack of immersion and now from reading about it on this forum, I decided to load and patch it up, due to all of the new features and new life this sim has received. I have played it online with others a couple times and its quite enjoyable. I just wish I could figure out why I have no exterior plane sounds?? Also still cant get an exterior camera view of plane. Only flyby and such. Would also like to be able to look around in the cockpit with the mouse instead of the joy hat. Most important of these three issues to me is the sound. I have tried all the menu settings --16, 24, 32 etc... Maybe someone has a FAQ, or link to one that might give us some pointers on the problem. My appreciation to this community for all the modding and hard work, time and help given. Hello all, I was just curious to know if some one, or some sim has incorporated the ability to have two sims in one: What I mean by that is, for about ten years or greater I've always wanted to have a choice of ATC or pilot. There are some really nice ATC simulators out there. I have messed around with a few and am not very good but I'm sure there are simmers that love them. So why not have them in say LOCKON or such. Have them in the tower, eye in the sky, or call the ball on carrier. Not that it would be mandatory but an option for game play. Pilot sim and ATC sim all in one, with an option to have either or both running; Just a thought. Maybe this is already being or been done? In that case, what sim? I realize most developers are more interested in the quick to market dollar and I can see their side of things, but maybe some one in the community could one day mod it? I also want to say to the community here, Thank you for all your efforts. I really do enjoy these flight sims and because of the interest and work of others, I enjoy them that much more. Thanks Again: ALF
