i´m sorry i just notice this thread now
the reason for this problem is a linkage error the HSI_Center should be linked to the HSI_Wheel but it was linked to the HSI_Instrument
i will fix all cockpits today and send them to Dave so he can once again update all Vipers
Thanks to Romflyer who found the error , all our test pilots did not find it
PLEASE if you find any error that needs fixing contact the TeamViper or me so i can fix it

Thank´s Rawenclow in external view yes , but no in cockpit view , is automatic
on all Blk50/52 vipers ???? and if it works on auto i dont have a clue why it should not work on manual

nomaly you can open and close the canopy wit CTR+1 (Strg+1 in europe
) as long as you have the weehls on the ground

for the correct force feedback i think TK has to adjust the game a bit , in general the effects are good in SF1 but not in SF2 in SF2 the effects are more shallow and sometimes even none in SF1 you realy feel the effects
a value to adjust the force feedback would be nice so everybody could adjust it to there liking

With the Hornet pack coming too, a proper version of the pod would be nice to have
i dont know if the pod that comes with the Hornet Pack is part of the model or not but if it is part of the model then a stand alone pod would not realy help

it is loaded on a Hornet and the air intake is on the left side, while when loaded on F-16, the intake is on the right side.
is that a request for a F-18 Lightning pod :acute:
for me it is very easy to move the air-inlet to the left

the Reccelite pod will be part of the Israel Air Force F-16C/D pack , i have the Lightning pod and to make Reccelite pod out of it is no big deal i only have to make the skin for it and add the missing antenna on the bottom
all pod´s includet in the F-16C packs will be released as stand alone laserpod´s in my upcoming Weaponspack2

nope you have to change the values in 3Ds-max

go to the option menu , GAMEPLAY / Simulation Difficulty and check if ti is set to normal or easy i think that this is causing it because your screenshots showing the easy-avioncs display

Thanks Dave for the 40/42 and 50/52, but when I look at the aircraft from external view the F-16's main body texture is all white???? I drag and dropped all what was in the rar file into my main strike fighters 2 folder...
do you have this on all viper skins ???? if yes , the fuselage skin F16_001 is in 4096x4096 you could downscale it to 1024x1024 (you will lose all details) but it could fix your problem

One general Question for the Vipers:
Why are the Warning signs and stencils under the canopy made as decals?
I think that looks a bit ugly from far away.
Has it something to do with the mapping of that area?
BTW, Great work on all the Vipers!!!!
You don't get the same good looking resolution with then painted on. It looks so much better this way.
as Dave says , to get the same resolution we would have to remap the complete aircraft or make a fuselage skin 8096x8096 so that was the easiest way to go
as for the update , i hope that this was the last update and that all errors are eliminated

das mit dem glänzenden heck und das sehr grobe radome ärgern mich derart das du deine skins wohl nicht mehr brauchen wirst
ich werde wohl die F-104G vorziehen und nach der MiG-29 fertig machen und dann mit allen pylons und zubehör

Just need to adjust pilot and seat position,finish the texture(panels etc etc)
Done so far
Complete 3d overhaul,new Hi-res skin(4096x4096 atm)
some new parts etc...wing vortex generators ,lights,centreline pod,fuel tanks,more detail to 3d model etc.all correct decals for all (actual 14 a\c) red arrow hawks.
2 weeks ...ish lol
this Hawk is looking great , that is an excellent work you did
