Hello Olham, Here`s a picture for you of Chateau Marckebecke. I'm not 100 % sure but i think the HQ wasn't in the Chateau but in a House in Markebekestraat. I visited the place last Year in May and talked to the baroness and the baron bethune. Very nice people. On my Tour last year i've visited all aerodromes of MvR (Jasta2 and Jasta11). I own the book "in the footsteps ..." and it helped me to plan my Tour. It's worth to buy. I've made too a HD film of the Jasta11 aerodromes and some pictures. Hello gentlemen, I'm very new for First eagles 2 (downloaded yesterday)and i'm on the search for all of this wonderful made mods. So i have some questions cause i can't find sometimes the pathes and directions and so on. (be nice with me cause i'm new ) 1.) for example i've downloaded the new terrain (17.Feb 2010). But i can't find a "terrain" folder. There's just a "terrains" folder in thirdwire\firsteagles2\ Where do i have to put the extracted zip. I've copied it now in the firsteagles2\ directory but nothing happens. 2.) I've downloaded some new aircrafts (Alb. DI., Fokker E.I-III) I can't hear any engine sound. 3.) I've doawnloaded the "Guitarclassic55's Replacement Menu Screens" copied all in Menu and Flight. Nothing happened. The old screens displayed. Which mods can i use with firsteagles2 ? is there a difference ? Sorry for the stupid questions but i really don't know anything about FE2. vschoell

Hello, I've got a little problem with some of the ace dossiers. Voss,Werner and Wolff,Kurt shows no kills in the ace dossiers. Always "0". The date is far away from their first kills noted in the XXKill.txt. Perhaps there are more with "0" but i've flying in Jasta11 so i can't see others than the Wolff problem in the moment. The Voss problem I've seen sometime before. Does anyone else has the same problem? greetings vschoell

Hi Morris, really great ideas! I would like to see this ideas. I think the manager could represent a little more the Squadron life, like 1.) aircraft managing: for example: squadron Jasta2 has 2 Alb.D II 3 Alb D.I and 6 Halberstadt. If a craft is damaged it takes some time to get repaired. If it's destroyed it would be filled up with a not so good one. The Squadron leader arrange the crafts to the pilots in the actually mission. If you are an ace you can get a personal craft. 2.) Transfers should be possible perhaps with fillig a form like the Kill Form. But if you are an ace you get invitations form squadron leaders like: Werner Voss invites you to join Jasta10.... 3.) Pilots in the squadron should all have a personal dossier with random pictures from a picture pool. (like in RBII) 4.) There should be a squadron dossier. (like in RBII) 5.) More statistiks like monthly kill rates (Squadron and Top aces like in RBII)This could be made perhaps as monthly "Squadron News" or "Heeresbericht" 6.) Intelligence Service: Informations about friendly and enemy squadrons in your operating area and Enemy Aces ... 7.) If a AI pilot shoots down a enemy in a mission it should be documented and count as kill in the Kill board. (in the moment its random) So in the next step also AI pilots could be an ace with 5 or more kills. That would be great too. vschoell

Hello, i've started a carreer in April 1917 with No 59 Sqn and saw that the Se5a's have 4 propeller blades. Is that correct cause i think the 4 propeller blade Se5a came much later in Autumn 1917. The pictures in the book aviation elite units (No 56 Sqn) shows too, that they had only two blades. I think the 56 Sqn started with a Se5 and in Summer came the Se5a. Later in Autumn the 4 blade version. What is correct ? vschoell

Yes !! historic accurate airfields ! Just finished my research with google earth and aerodromes v.Richthofen visits. Great look and feeling, cause some are with streetview, so you can look directly as you stand in it. Example Roucourt. It would be very nice to see the churchtower and the town in the back and the famous wood on the left. vschoell
