  1. I remember those seasons, being a Dolphins fan living in north Jersey. Watching Jets games were great for one particular thing. Somehow, someway, they would snatch defeat form the jaws of victory time and again in some of the most spectacular ways.
  2. Lions fan? Boy, you really have lots of patience! BTW, check out the various forums that Washington fans post on. Snyder and Zorn are on the verge of being lynched.
  3. Another plane, another campaign!
  4. I find it pretty funny considering that not only is Venezuela a key area in the Narco shipping biz, but Chavez basically cut off all cooperation to international Law Enforcement a few years ago.
  5. Yes, i know that this is probaly not the right place for this. But for the sake those who don't really look around this site, i place it here. Enjoy!

    Pwned!~

I would suggest Hemingway's "Death In The Afternoon" as a primer into the world of bullfighting.
  7. Gepard, welcome to the Kafkaesque ROE situation that has bedeviled the US military since the Korean war.
  8. Can't tell you, i only have the first series.
  9. Another variable is your altitude. Thrust is relative to altitude. With certain aircraft (The F-4 most notable) below 15,000 or so their engines provide a lot more thrust than the 21s rather modest powerplant. The lower you go, the more MIG's performance degrades.
  10. Stabalizer damage i've found to be a bit weird seeing as the effect from a hit seemingly isn't modeled. Engine hits can cause something. A few times i've damaged a Mig bad enough to have it smoking heavily and though it didn't seem to be harmed, it crashed later on and i was credited with the kill.
  11. Want a really good book that's not about fast movers? Try "My Secret War" by Richard S. Drury. Best book i've found so far about flying into combat in a Spad.
  12. I've heard a few songs where Yngwie didn't exactly pull it off. The Cannibal Corpse vid almost always gives me hand pains when i watch it. Another small example of tendon abuse by a bassist Scott Plummer
  13. Oh yeah Gilbert is one of the greats for lyrical playing. A few of my friends had Racer-x stuff back then but as a whole we prefered Yngwie Malmsteen because he had way more edge in his technique. As for Kollias being noise? I've had serious Jazz cats admit that they couldn't play that without months of intensive practice just to get up to those tempos. The bassist playing with Gilbert is way too conservative though. Alex Webster on bass
  14. Thats how to act when stopped by a cop.
  15. In these sims of ours we are always comparing aircraft and such and sometimes we come up with performance examples that are pretty staggering if you really think about it. Well, the world of Music also very similar. No matter what style or genre, certain musicians just have a knack of doing things that seem to be virtually impossible for a normal person to do. Here's George Kollias, the drummer for the band Nile. I've been into very high speed tempos since the 80s but never in my wildest imagination back in the day did i think human drummers would be able to pull this off for prolonged periods. Speed, power, precision!
  16. This is almost an everyday occurence for me at work.
  17. I've fleetingly supported Man U for years, but have switched to Liverpool because that's where i intend to move to if i ever make it to the UK.
  18. I rarely, if ever use LGBs so another future question answered.
  19. No, it's sorta functional. When you cycle through radar functions the screen comes on and you can actually see through it to some extent. I know theres a through camera mod in the downloads section but i don't want to mess things up at the moment.
  20. I really hate asking for this but... I've been researching this for a few days and though i've gotten tips from various places, i've yet to find an info source that has adding squadrons from step one through completion. I recently tried with WOV and came close but i know a step or two were overlooked and i can't figure out exactly what it is. This came about when i was trying to use the Skyraider in Malibus43's WOV Ground War Enhancement. I could see the squadrons listed but they didn't come up on the menus so i decided to wipe out my current setup and start from scratch with a fresh install with only patching involved to begin with.

    Tofu

Squishy tofu is an absolute pet hatred of mine. If it isn't cooked to a certain firmness, i'm not touching it.
  22. Another irreplaceable legend passes on. Even though i've always prefered Strats, i always had much respect for the Les Paul guitar as one of the great instruments. As incredible a guitarist Les Paul was, he was also an early pioneer in studio multitracking.
