  1. New plane + new cockpit = happy guy
  2. Betty

The best Betty around is the YAP´s Rising Sun. Payware, sadly...
  3. That´s great guys!! Baffmaster, don´t forget that the Yak-3 was one of the most manouvrable plane ever, and it was design for low level operations. BTW, the Yak-15 cockpit is a better fit than the original office. The coordinates for cockpit Yak-15 placement is: [CockpitSeat001] ModelName=Yak15_cockpit Offset=0.0,0.0,0.0 Position=0,-0.49,0.54 ViewAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0 MaxYaw=160 MinYaw=-160 MaxPitch=90 MinPitchFront=-85 MinPitchRear=-40 Thanks again to all!!
  4. More interesting readings. http://ipmsmalta.forumotion.net/t1741-korea-1950-53-yak-9m-kpafac-signum-1-48 (Operational Service topic) http://www.joebaugher.com/usaf_fighters/p39_19.html (AWESOME)
  5. Look! http://ipmsmalta.forumotion.net/t1741-korea-1950-53-yak-9m-kpafac-signum-1-48
  6. Folks, after a lot of reading about Korean War I dare to say - The Yak-3, Yak-7B, Yak-9/T, Yak-9U, Yak-9P, La-7, P-39, P-63 and IL-28 were all used by North Koreans and Russians. Most were taken by WWII surplus and secondary duties of VVS. It´s almost impossible to find any photographic evidence. In my oppinion the most rare photo of all aviation history is the one of NKAF P-39/P-63, if they ever exist. In the Web you can find some references about them but they´re all cloudy. The american pilots mistook the sleek P-39 by the sharp nosed Yaks. In the heat of battle, La-7 and La-11 are all the same. For the IL-28, they were restrict for some small operations and in small numbers. If anyone could share some photos here... Thanks!
  7. Wrench, let me explain a bit more. When adding the airfields to the TERRAIN, set ALL airfields in British Islands, France, Netherlands, Belgium as LARGE airfields. For Germany mainland all airfields as MEDIUM. In the east side, SMALL for the Russians. Again, this will be done in the terrain folder in _TYPES.INI, I think. With this, an USAAF P-47D for example with MinBaseSize=LARGE settings will operate in the left side of the map - West europe. A Yak-9 with MinBaseSize=SMALL will use bases at right side - East Europe. I hope to be more clear... Thanks!
  8. Wrench, I just had a good idea - To use three countries at same time with three scenarios at same time too (RAF/USAAF in west, Luftwaffe in the middle and VVS at east) SHOULD be simple with some edit. Example: - All the Europe/GB airbases using the LARGE airfields. - All Luftwaffe airbases using the MEDIUM airfields. - All Soviets airbases using the SMALL airfields. Doing this, when creating the planes *Z*.DATA.INI the line ¨MinBaseSize=LARGE¨ will dictate wich side of the map the plane will work. Got it? I´m honestly don´t know if it works as I stated. Perhaps it needs some other tweaks. Thanks doctor!!!
  9. Wish you good luck!! Could you try a late WWII map, with Allies closing the Germany soil and the Soviets by the east?
  10. Wrench, please tell me: 1- Will the new F4U1 Birdcage be released? 2- Will NEW F-82G Twin Mustang and F3D Skynight be available in a future? Thanks!!!
  11. Jeez!! The long awaited Birdcage show up!!! What´s next (the 4 others)?
  12. Gents, as KAW is ariving lately, some of the most misterious facts about Korea War remains cloudy even in those days of globalization. The following description is taken from Squadron´s ¨Air War Over Korea¨, by Larry Davis, page 34. It says: ¨The NKAF fighter force, made up of Yak-3,Yak-7,P-39/P-63 Cobras, and IL-10 continued to attempt to stave off the American air onslaught, but it was a futile effort.¨ It´s not the first time I find a description about P-39/P-63 flying with the North Koreans. I NEVER saw any photo or a drawing showing these birds anywhere. It sounds very truly as the Soviets left many planes along the invaded countries and North Korea was one of these. I read too that american pilots used to called all the Korean´s inlined prop planes as ¨Yaks¨ and it may had been this case. What a great mistery it is...
  13. Gents, I remember to see a Blackburn Shark for SFP1 some years ago. Is it still available? Any links?
  14. WhiteBoySamurai, I´ll pray for you. A Japanese speech pack is one of the most important things for a immersive Pacific WWII scenario. Don´t give up!
  15. Cocas, atenção com os frames do windshield - eles são retos e não curvos como na foto. O windshield na realidade era pontiagudo, não sei se tu me entendes...
  16. I´m sad to say pal, you´re wrong... There´s no Hawk II here - ever!
  17. ¨Me like too!¨, says a Guinean tribal leader.
  18. Perhaps here... ? http://combatace.com/topic/41232-china-war/page__hl__+hawk%20+china?do=findComment&comment=289325 ? http://combatace.com/topic/33849-1930s-ground-objects/page__hl__%20china%20%20curtiss%20%20hawk__st__20 If I remember well not only the Hawk II was WIP, but some other chinese olanse from 30´s timeframe.
  19. It was... I believe they´re gone in a HD crash years ago.
  20. The firsts ¨C¨ models had a flat belly because they didn´t have the belly rack. It´s the most beautifull version of all to me... Looks more slim.
  21. Great! If it´s the SB2C-4 version it needs a spinner. I´m almost sure that -3 version doesn´t have the rocket rails...
