in 3ds max sometimes the mesh when cut \ detached loses the smooth values....try resmooth the wing...using same values also check that when you cut it ,sometimes it leaves vertices that werent original...match up vertices and if any stray ones...weld them to the one nearest which is in proper place

even if animated damage isnt supported...its a good way to animate how you think it happens when hit by ordnance...and a good way to have the debris arranged by animating and then exporting the scattered and burnt remains lol..

With my SF2 deleting a load of non SF stuff...I decided to back up all my modelsagain (last time on a dvd) that ive put in game saving redoing all those ini files decals,varied other items... bought new ssd Kingston 480GB and a Kingston flash drive...both for less than 40 quid (ssd was 22 quid ,saw same one going for 20 - 35 quid exact one..and flash was 18 quid ) and they are fast....flash for backing up my models...and ssd replaces one that im using just for SF2 (128GB) well worth looking around as it saves you hours of work being lost forever which for me is annoying.... so back up and do it often drives are so cheap now and you can even back up SF2 complete install on one my instal tho only Test ,SF Europe,SF Israel and Nam...as I usually use Euro with all the terrains for the latter and thats only 98 gb so easy to save it all. My steam folder even got deleted by SF2 uninstaller....but easeus got it back...copied it back to Drive,and it still worked...lol

I know the effectsize in data.in for engines...makes it bigger or smaller...which setting governs the width of the effect flames in the effects inis ? ..dabbled but made it f*** up lol...cheers

Made nice hot blue AB effects....seen this colour on an Fmk6 years ago at Bruntingthorpe P1211 and the Vickers 553 by the time pressed F10 Then Tower view it was gone..man this thing can climb..

just to throw spanner in the works...tried new folder with no stock sounds...no matter what bit rate etc now they seem to work ok....weird.... only drawback I see with converting to 44100 you lose information in the file...sound loses quality in audacity it seems to with a straight edit\then export.

ok using audacity I changed mig29A wav to 16 bit pcm it was 32 bit float also it was 11025 mono now its sample rate is 44100mhz and seems to work as normal try these see if work for you mig29a2 wav is the new one...test and see if works ok this wav always worked in my pre complete install edition fekkin weird I miss the old windows recorder...it did wavs for SF great also changing from 16 to 24 or 32 in game options for me does fuck all ...you guys ? I might even go back to single installs....and just add the dlc as I go and need them should be possible...Kev what you think ...Wrench knows everything... im gonna install one game from old...SF Europe ..and make an old modded install I had before SF Great Britain and see if its ok...maybe we can use some older components to sort this.

you know what...your right this is different to the single versions I had before the complete pack...jetburner wav on my made models sounds shyte...it seems to phase in and out....sounds like robot my hawk wav for instance was a sample from a hawk at valley I recorded and in sf2 before it sounded real...now it sounds like its clicking every 2 seconds as it loops last time it was a constant level...and you couldnt tell it was a loop..
