  8. I did start Mirimar and RAF ST Athans...but havent done much...if use to you monty...they urs to adapt etc.. I havent done airfields before so pretty much not sure what im doing lol

Its taking time as ive had to redraw some areas ,as still waiting for the permission ...Ive used real pics found free on net for some areas,others Im painting myself... pic shows what im up against..and shows just a few of the many items I had to redo.lol nearly 50% of dials ive had to repaint.

  13. I had similar....but my error was I added wrong mod update first...re adding last terrain mod update fixed issues.

Well TK more or less aluded to the point we can do what we want with the game....we need cat extractors which we know exist but cant persuade the person or persons unknkown ....who have it to share...we can police here whats done with it if we had access... There are sites where coders reside,where things like the present .cats,can be given for them to try and open as a challenge.....if needed...but we need not do that hint hint...

    What exactly doesnt work?...what games have you?...merged install,? I assume you know that the game files are stored differently?,sf2 series is a total different kettle of fish as to location of files Did you ... Install all sf2 games, Patch accordingly Run them all once,to create game folders in ...C:\Users\XXX\Saved Games\ThirdWire you can run stck game from the exes,but if you add on any other items you will need to create the new folders. Such as terrains etc... check your games you install look like pic....stock ones first...

I dont like cutters as they leave stray vertices mid polys....I prefer to cut meshes to leave shape of ailerons etc...I work now in editable poly rather than editable mesh at first,as you can remove edges and vertices and max automatically tidies up the area..and more modifiers available.. like so...also higher res for better curves etc...

Put LOD in main hawk folder and rename if needed,drop the 2 glass tga`s and light.tga into same folder... also if your data.ini is different from contained txt just alter it with the new entry.. this is for the old hawk T1a...until I complete the new ones.   22. Buildings are a good way to start.....flat surfaces easier to learn mapping etc....I ll send you my buildings max files to check out...yard for example...
  23. kev...watch this series of vids when u have time...tut for beginners aswell as experienced modelers....from setting up reference pics to tools,and eventual modeling a plane.in this case a Bf109 E
