I think it's a good thing. I know I'm pumped for Star Citizen and Elite: Dangerous and those would never have come about without crowd funding. Plus there's usually some cool kickback swag.

Boresights post pretty much nails this. One thing to remember, try not get too hand-y with the stick. If you feel like you're a bit hamfisted try a few traps with just your fingertips on the stick.

Also, a lot of things (skins, esp.) are sort of plug and play now. But there's still some heavy .ini editing to do if you get into seriously modding out the game.

I've always notices whenever I try to get a naval battle and they use guns, they always fall short. Also, the Soviet vessels never seem to fire off cruise missiles. Did I do something wrong somewhere?

I really only have them set for CAS and Armed Recon.They seem to be pretty effective if, and that's a big if, they can make it to the target. Most occasions they get chewed up by interceptors pretty bad.

This looks awesome and makes me want to watch Le Mans again

I haven't flown a campaign with it, but I just added them into NF5 for the Red Storm campaign. Apaches based off highway strips, and have Mi-24's based out of Stendal

So I've noticed that there appears to be some sort of light source attached to the main camera in SF. It only really shows up when it's raining though. And after a certain distance it goes away. It lights up everything, jets, vehicles, the environment. Does any have any clue why this could be? I've attached two reference photos. The first showing the "glow" on my Mig-21, the second showing the distance at which it fades out. It's like having landing lights on all the time. For reference I'm running NF5 with SARCASM4 installed in this build.

Well I'd be happy to do a short write-up on something so that you can decide whether you'd even want me on board. Downloading DCS World on Steam right now, haven't played it yet.
