    F-4E_75_AHUD (Austere HUD) mod The real Austere HUD modification has been tested on F-4E 68-0304 during 1974-76. The goal was to have a better sight display, primarily for air to air combat. Further modifications were made to the radar for a quicker boresight lock-on and new dogfight scan modes. The Austere HUD modification remained a F-4E test and didnt went into production aircraft or upgrades. Ive re-created the Austere HUD, using the TW F-4E_75 (required for the mod to work). Ive used the Wraparound desert skin for stock F-4E by amariani http://combatace.com/files/file/12057-wraparound-desert-skin-for-stock-f-4e/ for a quick "make it fly" setup (we dont have a proper Edwards Test Unit white with red trimmings skin) The real Austere HUD was a test setup, so its no problem to add/remove readouts to the HUD modes to ones personal liking.

  3. To let everyone know: The remaining TMF core members have made the decision to not allow any further use/export of Olivier's 10+ years old models to other games/platforms. Its time to let the old models "rest in peace", it was Oli's work for SFP1/WOx/SF2, and we have the opinion that its simply not right that his work is used on and on after so many years have passed.   7. Presently the missiles have a "super seeker" when "Seeker Uncage" is enabled. Thats what makes it easy to get a lock... seeker scans a 80° cone. I'm working on a mod which is fixing this for all AIM-9. Then you have to point the seeker with its 2° instant FOV (9J/N/P) directly at the target. Makes it much harder vs the nimble MiG-17/19.
  8. Data ini - make sure that the DetectSystem section has the line HasRWR=TRUE And the Freq min/Max values for your rwr I moved your inis (renamed) into the IIIEL, made the changes to the RWR texture like described in my other post, and modified the DetectSystem. Result is a complete RWR.

  10. Theres a work-around Take your rack, make it a new weapon but set it up as a Rocket pod. Load the "pod" with 2 AGM-45 or whatever type/quantity you want. AI-flight can handle the ARM-pods too, Ive used them on F-105/A-6 in SF2V.

  14. Select the RWR blister (LMB-click), then RMB-click -> menu, go "show node on texture"
  15. Take a look into the F-4E/Hornet/Strike Eagle loadout inis, they have most mission types covered. For nation specific loadouts / loadout changes by service year, the TW Hunters are a starting point, and some of the F-4's as well (iirc)

  18. The "RailLaunched" checked in the weapon editor calls up the launch rail node (missile rail) in the aircraft data. ForceRailLaunch=TRUE disables the boost delay = missile does not freefall before motor start.
  19. The AIM-120's presently available in the weapon packs are all without a booster delay. To have things working right, they should have a delay time set (#1), and the aircraft data needs an extra line added to the AIM-120-carrying stations: ForceRailLaunch=TRUE #1) about 0.5 to 1 sec, depends on ejection velocity EjectVelocity=0.0,0.0,-6.0 Values are in meters/sec, and for Left/Right, Fore/Aft, Up/Down with Left/Aft/Down being negative (-) values

  21. Last in the the RuAF-only S, SM, SMT series. With extra Toplivo (fuel) in the Xtra-large spine. Unstable to fly and not liked by the pilots. They've decided to redo it, the result = MiG-21bis But yes, the look of it is monstrous Now, where is RussoUK .. he has the MiG-21 stuff..
