  1. WOW!! Nice to be able to see..

Got the majority of my SF2 stuff loaded on the new machine, and went back to work on the Espana map. Had to make some height field adjustements, so use the TFD tool. At the rez I'm using (11something by 6 something), I can actually read the frakking numbers like never before!! I know the TFD tool doesn't have a high rez, but this is finally what I can use, without resorting to a magnifying glass to read it!!! LOL!! I may be starting to like this monitor ...
  2. Yep, need a Col mesh, just like some of the add-on ships need(ed). The example method Blade gave works! Here's a stock example: mind you, some (many?) stock building have a collision lod already
  3. WOW!! Nice to be able to see..

They're in the Games folder. I still haven't rebuild the WW2 mods folders (MTO, ETO, PTO) or KAW. Along with any naval sims (Atlantic Feet only at the moment) I have this aversion to a cluttered desktop. BTW, I looked up the "recommended" native rez for the monitor, --!!!!! 2550 x 1440 !!!!!! don't think these old eyes can handle that!!
  4. Ok, as promised, after hitting 300 pages, I've closed that old thread, and have now opened a new one!! Remember, no posting without a screenshot!! Have it people!!! Enjoy!
  5. On my new machine, just ran the install for the 'all is everything SF2 exe", and found the ThirdWire/SF2/ in the /Documents folder -- but where is everything else?? The only thing inside, was a /Screenshot sub-folder. Is this a case it's totally clean and everything has to be added? It's been 20+ years since I started, so I may have forgetted a few things .... (overall, the machine is nice, but I'm really NOT liking the widescreen monitor. Can't find a rez that suits my fucked up eye(s). And gotta turn the damn internal lights off, too. OTH, I did manage to save a few buck by partly disassembling the computer desk)
  6. Thanks Mark! It's a Sauder that Pat and I bought in the late 80s!!! Believe that baby!! Other than wear and tear, it's still holding up!!!
  7. I FINALLY found the mod folders -- did a smart thing for once. Opened the shortcut, and looks in Properties for the pathway. Got so used to having the mod folders ABOVED the /C, I didn't think to look there. Now, just have to run the installer for all them, THEN yank the HD out of the old machine, and use that very cool adapter kit, and transfer all the bits and pieces over. That's gonna take days!! Then, but the HD back in the old machine, and carry on. The eye stuff, is well, a nightmare. Y'all know the right one has had issues since 2013, when my cornea "delaminated" (cell layer seperation), Long story short, there's damage to optic nerve, loosing 30% of the field. They can't do a refraction (measuring visiion) because the distortions of the corneal surface (even after multiple surgeries) . Without the Prose Scaleral contacts (they sit on the white of the eye, not on the cornea as normal ones do) that right eye is just along for the ride. I can see with it, but it 's like an unfocused camera.

  9. Damn website, keeps either not loading or double posting ... I'll fix that in a bit here's the machine (just ignore all the crap -- i'm a terrible housekeeper)
  10. Do they have a destroyed model as well? Newly built, or using one of the existing ones (like Hangar3, or HQBuilding, etc). That's always been my pet peeve -- not enough destroyed building models. If not, I'd like to suggest some of the destroyed models from Wingwinner's building packages. They're good ones.
  11. now that i've finished my bit for the F-35 remod, I can get back to terraining. In this case, the "Espana" map from Op.Pelayo. Been working on and off on it since late last year. Made a lot of corrections and retiling. All airports have been rebuilded and are complete, excepitng for minor eye candies. I'll have to stop work on it for a week or so sometime over the next few days, and I'm going to have to learn Winge 11 when my BRAND NEW MACHINE ARRIVES!!!!! (and none too soon -- this one is starting to really act out). Of course, reinstalling every-damn-thing!! (good part is, I get to finally use the full SF2 pack with all the DLCs I bought years ago!) As you can see below, using my (patent pending) special tiles, Ceuta looks a bit more like itself then before. There are about 5 or 6-ish new tiles, mostly ports, and so forth. This terrain has a lot of flaws, and I'm trying to correct as many I can (other wise Macalana and Stratos will yell at me <gr>)
  12. Is that a PLAAF Frogfoot I spy????
  13. What you're seeing could also be "works in progress". So, just hang loose
  14. Wonder if that was my fault, when I rebuilt the data ini in 2012?
  15. Could you be more specific? We have 3 different models of TA-4s. F, H, J. So, which one or is it all?? Did you check the node names are correct? And "angles of operation"? I haven't touched them since 2017, so ..?????
  16. 98.6% of TW birds have the drop tanks as detachable nodes of the main aircraft lod. They can be removed with the data ini trick... and... you can add "regular" drip tanks via both data ini and loadout edits. I know the tanks exist, as the TMF 84F should have them (can't remember if NMF or camo)
  17. This looks like Oscar material, right??

SF2 NAA F-100G & F-100H Pack (What If...) by Cocas & Co. 11/15/2017 = For SF2 (Full-4/5 Merged Reccomended) = *Note: you =MUST= have, as stated above have, at minimum, a Full-4 merged install, as this mod makes use of many stock items, most importantly, various cockpits from the F-105 Thunderchief from SF2V/E. Therefore, it's =vitally= important that your game version(s) have access to these cockpits. Many decals used herein also reference the stock 3W F-100s. Make sure you have them as well!!* The is the release of a new "What If..." aircraft for USAF and Export users, the F-100G and F- 100H Super Sabre. Like the F2J Super Fury, these are expansions of the F-100 series, adding more capabilites for air-to-air and air-to-ground. This package includes both aircraft, with skins for various Export customers. It should be noted that each skin has a set date to "turn on", using the SF2 default start date switch. The package is broken down into... = F-100G, single seater: USAF NMF, 417th TFS, USAFE (Hahn AFB) SEA 3 tone Camoflague, USAFE (Bitburg AFB) Spain NMF, Ala 12, 161 Esc. Denmark: NMF Overall Greeen Camo, Esk 727 (skin changes from NMF to Green in 1971) Japan: NMF, 1 Hikotai also a "Plane Jane" NMF skin for those wishing to create other users. = F-100H, 2 seater: USAF NMF, 510th TFS, PACAF (Clark AFB, PI) SEA 3 tone, 90th TFS, PACAF (Bien Hoa Air Base, RVN) Portugal NMF, Esq.51 Greece 3 tone camo, 335 Mira Japan NMF, 10 Hikotai The JASDF skins (F-100G & H) include several other squadron badges, for those wishing to switch or expand that air force. Those from the G should also work on the H, and vice versa, with a little ini editing. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. Weapons used are all stock 3W items. Skins are in jpg format, and damage textures are DDS. All other parts (pilots, seats) are supplied. Each skin has it own specific hangar screen. With the fact all markings are decals, other users can be created quite easily. The Standard Animation Keystrokes (tm) is used for the Caonpy (Shift/0). As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein -- for Cocas Aircraft Factory --
  19. Umm...you're kiddding me right?? (movie trailer)

Forgot to mention, for those that wish to partake, it's on Amazon Prime. For free (big surprise, there, eh?)
  20. what about the "remove component" trick?? It's been used before to remove entire cockpit panels and such like
  21. My bad, I just should have put "satellite radio". (I have it my toyota -- well worth the subscription) maybe the antenna is/was added at the dealership as part of the pre-delivery package?? ======= if it's just on the one side, maybe something to do with RDF???
  22. SiriusXM ??? == I'll show myself out ....
  23. Why not "Graf Zepplinn" ??? An aerial pioneer (and yes, I know the context for the unfinished KMS boat)
