  1. not possible; the game is NOT coded for arcade-ism. Even if it is sim-lite all you can go is "Easy". Check the Options menu, Gameplay, customize
  2. probably because they fucked up the meshes. way to test this would be to open it in Mue's Lod Viewer and "show all nodes on texture"
  3. AFAIK, those max file no longer exist.
  4. Yeah, like that's gonna bloody happen!!!
  5. min/max extensions are were the device is located in the airframe. they're not even really necessary. BUT..you do need the freqeencies well, SF2NA comes with the EA-6 Prowler, and at least one of the Blinders has "Escort_Jammer" as the mission tasking Does it work??
  6. how many octaves it can sing?? (sorry, please forgive me. I just HAD to do that!! goofy mood today! ) My guess might be related to CG and how the game figures Mean Aerodynamic Chord (but aren't Mac statement seperate in the wings and stabs sections???)
  7. that actually dosen't matter in game. all that's really needed are the min/max frequencies the jammer generates, if it's deceptive or noise generating and can jam continuious wave (true/false)
  8. or, as much as the 'square-ass' terrain engine allows, cities that actually LOOK like their Real World (tm) counterparts. oh wait.... that's what we terraformers do...

I've always been a Believer, in the 'we're not alone' theory. So, if someone or something is coming here (the WHY is always the first question, not counting Hitchhiker's Guide Teasers), they've had to make massive breakthroughs in propulsion to cross even the smallest interstellar distances. But, you all have got my interest picqued in the series, so I've already watched the first 2 episodes from HIstory Channel On Demand. I can say this is NOT the run-of-the-mill bullshit stories that have been aired on other channels. Even the Old Lady was watching! So, lets see where this series goes.

View File SF2 P/F-61B Black Widow, 319th F(AW)S Skins Pack Post-WW2 SF2 P/F-61B Black Widow, 319th F(AW)S Skins Pack 7/2/2019 -For SF2, (Full 5 Merged Reccomended)- This is a new skin & decal set for Veltro2K's P-61 Black Widow Night/All Weather interceptor. This skin represents the 318th Fighter (All Weather) Squadron from 1946-1948. They were (originally) based at Mitchell Field (AFB) Long Island, NY, as part of the newly formed Air Defence Command. They and several other night/all weather and day fighter squadrons were responsible for the defence of the northeastern United States. In 1948, they moved to McChord AFB, Washington, transistioned to F-82 Twin Mustangs, and took on Northwest Air Defense duties. The skin is in jpg format. All markings are decals. 26 new P-61B serial and Buzz numbers were created for this mod. The serials ARE for late production block 61Bs, but should be considered generic in nature as they represent no particular aircraft from any specific unit. Decal randomization is TRUE. Included is a hangar screen for this skin, too! The SF2 'date switch' is used to turn on this skin in 1946. Also included is a new data and avionics inis. A new more compliant FM has been built, and many engine parameters have been adjusted (NOW! With WEP!!). The avionics ini, given game limitations, should be more in line with the actual workings of the SCR-720 air intercept radar. A backup copy of the data ini is included, for safety's sake. (always back up!!). See "Notes" below for a complete listing, and explainitions. You must have the original P-61B from either you WW2 installs or a new download from the following URL to apply this skin set to: https://combatace.com/files/file/14739-northrop-p-61-black-widow-pack/ Remember, this is a POST-war skin. The data ini has operational dates adjusted (corrected) accordingly. As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. Might want to give the "Notes & Other Nonsense" section a once over, as well! :) Good Hunting! Wrench Kevin Stein Submitter Wrench Submitted 07/08/2019 Category Other

  12. really good profiles; just a pity the individual squadrons aren't named. (I did recognize a few insignia, like the sea bird for 101st FS, MASS ANG) EDIT: olppss! this dumb-ass just opened the jpgs and didn't bother readin the NAMES of them!! DOOOOUHHHH!!
  13. I didn't mean, or want, to put you through so much!! My apologies, along with my thanks!! Souli, brother, I'll gladly take them, if you want to PM them to me! It'd save me many, many hours!
  14. Why do you think I keep putting Hot Dog Stands on all my terrains!!!???? IIRC on the MidWest USA terrain, there are even Hangar 'Hos (and their workplace)
  15. If he's like the rest of us, I'd say pretty messed up! I'm actually using these right now. I am QUITE impressed with the work. Thanks Geary!
  16. Happy Independence Day

    Happy Birthday USA!!!
  17. no, I didn't. Email been the same for 20 years! It's all good, brother! Just finished downloading, and now moving the exe to 2 different externals for archiving!!
  18. DAMN!! I plugged in the code I have (BLC 29) as I'd lost almost everything, email wise, in the December 2018 HD crash and it won't take it bummer. oh well, the Mrs said I could do it, so I am!
  19. excellent work Russ. As said, don't rush through it! Fix whatever you think needs fixing; we ain't in not rush! my plan, once I have the base template, is a generic NM skin. Some of our other painters are FAR better than I for the three-tone SEA post 63 skins! (I'll be glad to make all the decals, though) If you need some reference books, I've a couple in the Library!
  20. Gents, to see if it's a good price, worthy of spending our hard earned cash, just add up the cost fo the 5 games, 2 expansion packs and 29 DLCs Number don't lie, and I'm getting mine. I'll find 100 bucks somewhere
  21. Exactly my thoughts ... as I said in the other thread, having only the original exes, and then having to scramble to find the patches to bring it current, I'd decieded to repurchase the ENTIRE series again. Now this comes out; and yes I'm probably even more broke-ass then most. But I will be finding the 100 bucks and investing it in this. This not only saves time, but overall saves a substantial bit of coin. It's a great bargin, and well worth it. IMHO
  22. I'll wager you'll find that's true for a boatload of ships, too. (pun intended!!)
