SF2NA A-6E TRAM VA-176 Skin/Decal Pak
Wrench posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - File Announcements
View File SF2NA A-6E TRAM VA-176 Skin/Decal Pak SF2NA A-6E TRAM VA-176 Skin/Decal Pak 1/24/2018 = For SF2NA (Full-5 Merged Prefered) = * Designed for SF2:NA, but can be used in any install (full 5 merged) that has access to the A-6E TRAM Intruder (aka: A-6E_79) * This package contains 1 new skin in lo-viz TPS for the A-6E TRAM Intruder, that comes with SF2:NA. This package represents: VA-176 "Thunderbolts" embarked aboard USS INDEPENDENCE with the 6th Fleet (Med) The skin maps are in jpg format. Decal randomization has been set to "TRUE". 25 new Modex and serial numbers (BuNums) have been created for this mod. BuNums, while correct for the A-6E, should be considered 'generic' in nature, as they do not represent any specific aircraft within any given squadron. All markings are decals. However, it should be noted nothing to make this AI plane flyable is included. Other mods provide the necessary instructions and "parts". As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... Good Hunting! Kevin "Wrench" Stein Submitter Wrench Submitted 01/25/2018 Category A-6 -

can't be done -- unless you have the max files for the cockpit, and can re-assign the nodes -

Need help for Cobra
Wrench replied to kurdistan1's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Don't waste your money -- they ripped off Gepard's Persian Gulf map, and stripped it of everything. The one available here is far better, more accurate, and actually HAS cities that have strikeable target in/near them. the only that that might be of interest would be aircraft, but most are already available here -

Wrench replied to AmigoPilot's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
"There is, as yet, insuffiecent information for a meaningful response." We can't help if we don't know WHICH Foxbat you're speaking of. Link to the aircraft's download might be of some assistance, yes? -

Aircraft Folder Problems
Wrench replied to pappychksix's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
same fix as the WW2 installs -- just what G20 said, but you don't/shouldn't need to mess with the game's main ini. Never had to do it before, and never had a problem. -

707/E-3/C-135/E-8 pit
Wrench replied to daddyairplanes's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
yes, you can move objects up/down in cockpits. But only one at at time, and in only one direction. I (re)moved the HUD off del's Herc pit; I just have to find where it is (mod folder) -
I'm just amazed at how much light was given off -- you can see how bright things on the ground got.

F-2H2 Banshee Weird Cockpit

would be nice to actually know which aircraft she's talking about --- is it RazBam's Banschee, or Crapuns??? Is the Panther Pasko's?? or another versions? the cockpit issues has NOTHING to due the map edge (aka "The Wall"). If you'd bother to READ what she wrote, she's describing a take off, as the aircraft climbs the pit lod lowers itself down. This is a known issue in the 3rdWire series, and has never been fully resolved on certain 3rd Party add-on aircraft. as to the nose wheel, Pasko's Panther's are well know for a number of faults (btw, mine works the way it should) also, Ully, stop necro-threading. It's annoying
