  1. we used to be able to move The Wall (I even wrote a tutorial for the KB on it) but one of the NA patches kicked that right in the nuts, and they're back locked at the 80km limit. of course, you can always redo the map and add another couple thousand kms, so those show up ... ducks and runs.....
  2. cash check (even traveler's checks) international money order credit card (use it and get points!!!)
  3. :) my pleasure! the water looks best in the NA map. I =DO= like the reflectivity
  4. Why are you using the "spoiler" link to attach images wiht? There's a button in the "full reply" screen, accessed by the "More Reply Options" located in the lower right of the standard reply window. As to why the tga's aren't showing up is you're using a SF1 avionics ini in an SF2 game. The avionics ini you posted is missing all the hud fx shader statements. (ie: hud material statement in the HUD, and the entire descirpton for the hud material iteself) Just look at the stock F-15 or F-16, and you'll see what's needed
  5. File Name: XvT/BoP Alliance Mission Set: TROJAN SQUADRON File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 12 December 2015 File Category: Star Wars Games XvT/BoP Alliance Mission Set: TROJAN SQUADRON 11/11/2015 (works with original CD version and new GoG version) For XvT =w/Bop= Addon, or GoG version (as the B-Wing is needed, & missions are saved in BoP format) Operating from a secure base deep in Alliance held territory, Trojan Group conducts highly specalized infiltration missions. With several ex-Imperial or Old Republic starships, it is a highly mobile force ready to strike deeper into Imperial space than any other unit. IMPORTANT NOTE: while this is a Rebel Alliance mission set (and labeled as such), because of HOW it's set up, you'll =ONLY= be able to fly this with your Imperial pilot. While I'm sure you could add these to the rebel.lst, during testing I experienced MAJOR failures of the game. So, for saftey's sake, be an Imp for these. Create a new pilot if necessary (reccomended). These missions are to be used/placed into your ...Balance of Power/Combat folder. Most of these missions have additional goals, LOTS of radio messages (which are often used as in-game hints), and "eye candy" added. They have been converted & almost completely rebuilt from their TFCD origins. Several use classic Sci-Fi Easter Eggs. See if you can find them!! As always, PLEASE read this enclosed readme for full, detailed install instructions. Give the "Notes" & "Story" sections a read too for notes and background information! Good Hunting! Wrench Kevin Stein original mission set by Eric Jensen circa 1997 Updated 2/24/2017: corrected mission listing numbering sequence // Click here to download this file
  6. BE ADVISED!! There is a mis-count on the numbering list for these missions -- I've found that one number is doubled from a previous set. So, in this case, you'll need to use the number sequence below to add to the mission and imperial lst files: I'll have to find the original zip, and update the sequence in the readme as well. For those that have downloaded it already, make the edits with the text above. Sorry for that!!
  7. I think those are called "reflections", and only seem to occur on the SF2NA IcelandNA map, due to the type of shaders used
  8. File Name: XvT/BoP Imperial Operation: Give and Take File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 22 February 2017 File Category: Star Wars Games XvT/BoP Imperial Operation: Give and Take 2/21/2017 This is the 10th set of a total of 20 mission sets/TODs that cover the time from from just before the Battle of Yavin, to just after the Fall of the Empire. In this set, the combined Uprisal/Traitor/Rebel forces have gained the upper hand, and are out to increase the size and capability of their space forces. This cannot be allowed. You'll be doing everything possible to stop them, and if they've succeed in their plans, turning the tables and destroying them. You'll be defending Imperial assets, harrassing the enemies, and eventually forcing them out of anyplace they've gained. These are to be used/placed into your ...Balance of Power/Combat folder. All missions have been edited for fairness & balance (hopefully!), due the the enhanced AI and weapons effectivness in XvT/BoP. All have new briefings and descriptions. I've added LOTS of radio messages to act as "in game hints" and to further plot lines. Please pay attention to them, as some may save your life or your mission critcal craft. Also, when possible, other craft in the mission can be selected for Player use, or for multi-player. As always, =PLEASE= read the install instructions. Of course, the usual "Notes" and other nonesense. Please note that this mission set =WILL= require one or another of the available Ship/Craft Patchs. 10. I build them into the larger areas. Helps prevent the "overlap" issues
  11. running out of texture memory, maybe? sound like a vid card issue?
  12. Nope. Nobody every wanted to finish building it.
  13. Geary, you do know that there are MUCH better models available for the Corsairs (and Mustangs! --just use the stock one!!!) then those ancient 1st Gen ones? TMFs -1C, for example
  14. it is. but, be it known that DAT FMs are "questionable" at times.
  15. ok, that is weird! (oth, B-25s from the MTO did to CBI in real life. The 12th BG)
  16. Yeah...ok guuru..you're probably going to want to update your uploads -- again-- (try to get it right and all together this time, hmm?? It's a pain in the ass having to constantly approve and re-approve the same thing over and over.) Read mes are an ABSOLUTE must have, and will include ALL the credits necessary. This is NOT a request.
  17. are we confusing Indicated Air Speed with True Air Speed? Most people do...
  18. I hated working on those things....GMs and Dodges were bad enough, but when Ford went to the "cab forward" thing, life got a lot harder. Water pump? after removing the grill and radiator, maybe you get to it...
  19. Final dust off for Hal Moore

  20. there were lots of issues with the 20mm gunned Gs, and many were converted in the field, back to 50 cals. I don't remember the exact number built as 20s, but it was "only" a few hundred. The reason I like the Havoc so much, is they were built less then 1/2 mile from where I'm sitting right now; at the Santa Monica Douglas plant. Sort of a personal thing! --- the only difference from MTO to my ETO skins, is in the Med, they didn't use those squadron markings on the tails, but the 'battle numbers'.
  21. ok, you're marking are ALL wrong.... A,B,C units with first deployed to NA seem to have carried some odd RAF style, especially the mottle made famous by the Revell 1/72 model (see box art above) G's would carry the "star-and-bar', as they became the standard after Sept 43. The yellow outline (also used by some aircraft in England) while used during Torch, was phased out mid-43 by the red outlined 'star-and-bar'. Chart below And , yes the model is badly flawed -- there are many areas unmapped or oddly mapped, and it's missing several items (not the least of which is the lower "tunnel" gun and the oval side windows, and the pilot's entrance hatch opens the wrong direction and C has the wrong exhausts - should be one large tube on the outboard side of each nacelle. What they have are the individual stacks, as used on later models). I've done a LOT of work the Havocs over the years -- we just simply need a newer, more accurate model. Not just for the glass nosed A/B/C (which have different styles of glass noses between the A/B & C), but the solid nosed G and later "blown" glass nosed J I DO have the max files for Daniel's A-20 (it's a C model -and of course can be reworked into the G & J). It's such an important aircraft, in all theatres where it operated, it's just a crying shame we can't get a better version. as this thread is getting pretty specific, I've also moved it to the WW2 Forum.
