unzip, drop the folder into your /Pilots folder you should also MOST DEFINATELY report the missing file to the uploader of the aircraft. The onus is on them to make 100% sure that ALL parts needed are included. Downloaders (end users) should NOT have to hunting around for something that should have been included in the first place

1) always use the 3w terrain editor for airfield zone flattening. the TFD tool is not prescise enough in it's height adjustments (all or nothing) 2) minimum size for runways 1, 2,3,5,6 is 5km x 5km (must ALWAYS be square). 6 x 6 is also good, and needed for runway 4 3) as Baff said, you must have BOTH the updated HFD and TFD. I, too found that out the hard way.

oh way cool! it REALLY does go together like a model kit (just like as shown in the Modeler's Data File book) is the restoration for display only, or will it be flying? thanks for posting.

some weeks ago, at my request, I received all the Daniels (Cocas) MAX files for our unfinished WW2 aircraft projects. I have also posted this list, and the request in the Modders Forum, but wanted to now show everyone and ask for the assist. I got 24 aircraft, in varying states of build ... some are more complete than others (the Beau looks to be 99% done - and would have been used for at least 5 late mark versions, 6 late, X, TFX early and late with and without thimble nose radars. the meshes are separate, by my request, making them removable via the data ini trick) Unfortunately, these are in MAX 2009 format; and with the little knowledge I have, don't know if they are down convertible to earlier versions. Since I have MAX 09, I can view them -- I just can't actually DO anything with them! So, below is a list of the aircraft. Only to good homes, with the intent of FREEWARE releases here at CA, to replace any/all of those not readily available to all. Other work (skinning, FM creation, etc) can be discussed at a later date. Interested parties please contact me via PM, or post in this thread.

it's not exactly the same engine ... it's (FE2 & SF2) more optimized for Vista/7, using the dx10 shaders (but not all of them) check for a post by Fubar512 somewhere in the SF2 forums on vid card settings. I can't remember the exact title name, but something along those lines

they're missing the "collision lod statements" too. (and the collision lod itself -- and that's easy to make. clone the main lod, and rename it) don't forget, they're designed for 1stGen, and DO need some tweeking
