SF2 WW2 IJN CVL Zuihio Class 12/26/2014 = For SF2 (Full5 Merged RECCOMENDED!) *This mod is set up with some SF2NA coding. Use in other envrionments is "at your own risk* This is a version of Hinchbrooks IJN Zuiho class light carrier. As some have found the original 1stGen version is "faulted", I hope this will be better for you all. Mind you, it's NOT fully converted, as the "parking slots" have not been plotted. Some of the muzzle positions for the 25mm AA batteries are not near the muzzles themselves. But this will give you an operational IJN light carrier. All the "needed" files for use in the SF2NA enviroment are included (inis, "collision lod", etc). As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein
  2. First Eagles WW2

Been there, done that. Twice. In fact, the "Tunisia" map has been completely retiled, it just needs --yet again!!!-- the targets rebuilt. All the ports have the new "special" tiles. Started it over 2 years ago, and walked away from it. What with most of the needed aircraft being "unavailable" at the time; a lot has been remedied, but pretty much all the Axis players either need new models (the Old Wolf Stuff), or they're still "unavailable" to most. And the fact a competing "all inclusive" NA mod was released by the DAT ... one can get quite tired of coming in second place.
  3. Thought I'd might have snuck it into one of the "GroundObject" packs I include with terrains, but I guess I didn't!! There's some "stand ins" for other IJN CVs in some of them (Phillilpines 44??? Okinawa?? -- I don't remember!!) I'll get it up loaded later tonight, or tomorrow. Hang tight folks!
  4. I know what it is!!! It's a green cylinder!!!
  5. Actually, it IS just that simple ------------------ ALL ww2 weapons have been converted for SF2 usage, and are available in the SF2 downloads section. Including NEW RN/RAF trops by Veltro (may also be found in the Cocas Beaufighters). There are 2 versions; standard "EO" type -that we'd been using since the early 2000s and the SF2NA "cruise missile" type. That one will need modification to the aircrafts data ini to add the CM AI sections. And hope for the best in operational circumstances. It's a bit "flakey" -- and that's being generous. Not knowing what YEAR is being flown (60lb RP3s don't arrive at squadron level until 1943), what map you're flying on; if said map is set up for "Naval Strike", if the aircraft itself has been set up for Naval_Strike, or if set up for torp usage in the Anti-ship loadout. Too many variable to start guessing at. I don't even have their Stringbag in my ETO install, only my MTO one. And I'm pretty sure the loadouts are a bit "too" heavy, bomb wise. Haven't flown it for years...
  6. ok, I'll have to upload mine. SG, I assume the one you're talking about is the original 1stGen?? MIne is SF2NA updated
  7. El Rey Network RULES!

For those lucky enough for their cable company to carry the El Rey network, they're giving us a Kaiju Christmas!!!! They're playing a LOT of the classic Toho monster films, like "Godzilla Raids Again" (1955), the 1st "unofficial" sequal to the original and ... just as important, according the blurb on the on-screen cable guide, the 1954 Japanese version of Godzilla, back-to-back with the 1956 American version with Raymond Burr. I've never seen the original version, and I'm looking forward to it So, check your cable listings to see if you have it!
  8. El Rey Network RULES!

Sorry you don't get them Falcon. I was thinking of YOU when I say the listings, and had post it. what about going to their site, and if they have them, watch online??

  13. First Eagles WW2

I'd go with the high poly, higher detailed car. The game(s) can handle it!!! ------ Gepard, why don't you put together at list of what's needed, ini wise. What changes need to be made to what. Once that's available, I can create an ETO FE2 mods folder for testing. Be simple enough; just use everything in my WW2 ETO SF2 folder (objects/sounds/etc) and copy/paste. Like for SF2 WW2, I"d probably leave a couple of the WW1 birds in; at least one flyable (each side) and at least one AI (each side). With luck, that'll keep the aircraft from rewriting. But what about sea-going vessels? All our WW2 terrains have a lot of shipping routes. Anti-shipping missions are VERY important for the ETO (well, everywhere else as well).

It was built for SF2 ONLY!!.* This is a BRAND NEW aircraft, brought to you by Cocas Aircraft Factory & Co. We are calling this "version 0.9", as there exists the possibility of more work being required. But, we wanted to get them out into the hands of our WW2 End Users ™ for their examinations and so forth. **REMINDER: this pack is for PTO Razorback Jugs -only-!!! And by PTO, this means SoWesPac, NOT CBI, not the Solomons, etc!!! This would include New Guinea, points north and west, and obviously the Philipines. Other theatres will follow as they are completed.** This pak contains 2 complete aircraft, representing the Razorback P-47D-2/D-10 in early/mid 1943, and the later D-15 thru D-20 Razorback Thunderbolt as seen in late 1943 (November-ish) through (nearly the) war's end, in the SoWesPac regions of the PTO (read: 5th AF). Skin(s) included are: P-47D-5 (early model): 340th FS, 348th FG (SWP, mid-1943 scheme w/star-and-ball) P-47D-20 (later model): 340th FS, 348th FG (SWP, late 43/early 44 w/star-and-bar) 310th FS, 58th FG, (SWP/New Guinea region, late 43/early 44) All markings are decals, and Decal randomization is TRUE. The aircraft is finished in standard 0D/Grey, with Southwest Pacfic markings. Please note, SWP Theatre, Squadron and/or Group specific markings -ARE- painted on. The serials herein should be considered "generic" in nature, but ARE for the correct model variant. For the most part, there are NO nose arts, with the exception of a few for the 340th, "borrowed" from Major Lee's 348th FG skin set. All the 1stGen Hangar and/or Loading screens were either rebuilt to SF2-spec, or created new for this package. They are in jpg format, and fit SF2 styling. Damage textures are also new, in DDS format. The canopy opens/closes with the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0 Pilots, sounds, weapons are all included. Templates for this aircraft will be issued as a seperate release, for those skinners that wish to do other units/theatres. As there are several P-74D Razorbacks available, when in game you'll see: P-47D-5 Thunderbolt (CAF)(Mid 43) P-47D-20 Thunderbolt (CAF) on the aircraft selection dropdown menu. This will diferentiate it from any others that are around (Wolf or DAT). For those with the SWP/PTO Razorback mods I've done for Wolf's P-47, this mod is designed to compliment, NOT replace it. However... it's your choice to keep them or not. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, as usual, PLEASE!! give the "Notes" section a read, too. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein =for Cocas Aircraft Factory, Prop Works Division= 12/18/2016 Updated - added missing decals
  15. disappeared with one of the early SF2 patchs, iirc. I think it should have never been removed. Was a dumb move. (you know how long it takes for the full squadron to take off, join up and climb to cruise altitude? Many a time, depending on the map, it's me an one or 2 other dudes facing a Horde Of Bad Guys ™, while the rest of them squadron is still halfway back to home base) I wonder if it's now hard coded in one of the dlls, or can a 1stGen ini control that?
  16. it's a stock aircraft in SFP1...and easily extracted. and yes, 'sharing' 3w lods is a no-no.
  17. Oh, man -- talk about bad luck!

SF2 WW2 ETO Republic P-47D "Razorback" Thunderbolt 12/22/2014 = For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged RECCOMENDED!) *This mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. REMINDER: this pack contains ETO Jugs only!!! Other theatres/users will follow as time permits, and as they are completed. This pak contains, as stated above, a NEW aircraft, representing the Razorback P-47D (-5 thru -20) Thunderbolt as seen in late 1943 through war's end. Skins included are: 56th Fighter Group (8th AF): 61st FS 62nd FS 63rd FS and 377th FS, 362nd FG (9th AF) All markings are decals; this will allow super easy creation of other squadrons by simply creating a new SCode decal, although those with a purer historical heart will also have to run down the matching serial numbers for their decal creation. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. Please note, Squadron or Group specific markings -ARE- painted on. The mod has the correct nose arts, matched to plane-in-squadron letter and serial numbers for the 61st FS only. However, the serials for the 62nd & 63rd ARE matched to their plane-in-squadron letter. They have no nose arts. Any marked with a star (*) ARE correct for their squadron, but could not be 100% matched to a particular aircraft. The 61st carries the mid-to-late 43 style of QIMs, and the other 2 (62 & 63) have the 1944 style used the 56th, including the squadron colored tails. The 377th is in natural metal, and has full D-Day markings. Included is a post-September 44 skin, with D-Day stripes -only- on the bottom. Those serials should be considered "generic" in nature, but ARE for the correct model variant. Templates for this aircraft will be issued as a seperate release, for those skinners that wish to do other units for other theatres or Allied users. As there are several P-74D Razorbacks available, when in game you'll see: P-47D-20 Thunderbolt (CAF) on the aircraft selection dropdown menu. This will diferentiate it from any others that are around (Wolf or DAT). As some unit markings are repeated, those with the mods I built for Wolf's Razorback, can choose to keep those, revamp them for use on THIS model, or remove them to storage. You'll most likely be doing this when the D 'Bubbletop' is released. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, as usual, give the "Notes" section a read, too. Happy Landings! By this time, they had finished painting all the checks on all the tails of all the planes in all the 325th's squadrons. These were carried until the Group converted to Mustangs (and had to start all over painting the checks again!!). The aircraft is finished in standard OD/Grey, with MTO theatre markings on the cowl. All markings are decals; excepting the 325th Checkertail and MTO theatre markings; these are painted on. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. There is one base set of decals for both skins. As this is for just one squadron, it makes for a sligtly smaller up/down load package. There -are- some nose arts, and you'll find them listed with the individual aircraft number drop down on the Loadout Screen. They are matched to their 'plane-in-squadron' Battle Number.
