  1. almost done ... just need to finish all the serial number decals, some fine tuning and the screens.. (yes, Ed, the last Lod fixed the issue!)
  2. http://www.aeroflight.co.uk/waf/latin.htm try this one too. it's were I got a lot of the serial for the Latin American birds I've done
  3. unfortunately, I never had any real contact with him, even 'back in the day'
  4. Neither am I. But... I WILL be pleasantly surprised IF and WHEN it does materialize
  5. wraithbringer, have you tried clearing out your attachments via "Your Profile". I'd look there first ... you may have hit you max limit
  6. those are Korean Era ID stripes, as carried on ALL FAA aircraft (Sea Fury, Seafire and Firefly) at the time if that's Simon Porters's original Firefly, I should have a template for it around here, Alfie, if you need/want it
  7. you mean a nose art decal?? the same way you make other decals.
  8. "when the world trembled at the sound of our rockets..."
  9. we should ask Pasko for ALL his MAX files ... that way we can fix all the various issues (animations, decal bleeds, unmapped sections, etc). There's a lot of good models he's produced, they just need some twreeking
  10. 9) FAC planes 10) Ability to edit the FlightEngine ini to expand terrain borders to less than 80km (ie: kick back The Wall)

SF2 Korean War Era F9F-2 Panther Pak by bobrock *Updated 10/6/2012: re-added missing decals folder* = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) = *Note: as this aircraft was built with the latest TW Exporter, it most likely will NOT work in SF/Wo* 1stGen Game Installs* This is the Grumman F9F-2 Panther, by Bobrock, as seen during the early 1950s; in partucular during the Korean War. Skins/Decal sets are included for the following units: VF-31 "Tomcatters" (USS Leyte, 1950/51) VF-51 "Screaming Eagles" (USS Valley Forge, 1950*) VF-52 "Knight Riders" (USs Valley Forge, 1950*) VF-93 "Blue Blazers" (USS Philippine Sea, 1953) VF-111 "Sundowners" (USS Philippine Sea, 1950) VF-112 "Fighting 12" (USS Philippine Sea, 1950) VF-192 "Golden Dragons" (USS Oriskany, 1/1953) VF-721 ??? (USS Boxer, 1951) VMF-311 "Tomcats" (land based, various airfieldz in Korea) The aircraft is fully carrier-capable, with all the SF2NA coding for deck 'parking'. Skins are in jpg format, so you MUST be at (minimum) Nov 2011, or the Latest July 2012 patch level. All markings are decals and are Randomized. BuNums are accurate for the aircraft variant depicted, but not for the actual ones used by the squadrons; consider them 'generic' for that purpose. 2 Hangar Screens are supplied (the full color verison being used now), along with a Loading Screen. A new engine sound is also included. Weapons use those from the GunnyPak, or from some of the other recently released KAW aircraft. For those that don't have it, my (patentpending) back-dated, modified SCB-125_data.ini that will allow those bird farms to operate in the 1950s (until when/if we get a straight-decked Essex). Standard Animations keystrokes are used for the canopy (Shift/0) and wingfold (shift/9). Be advised, there is a slight positioning issue with bombs/rockets when the wings are folded - I can't fix this with ini edits (must be done in MAX). So, don't fold the wings when the hardpoints are loaded, eh? As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Good Hunting! wrench kevin stein and the whole KAW Team *see notes for further information, and the enclosed 'korean panther units.jpg' Updated: adding missing (ok, I forgot it!) /Decals folder!! My apologies to all!!
  12. File Name: SF2 MiG-15bis Fagot-B, KAW File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 07 October 2012 File Category: MiG-15 SF2 Korean War Era MiG-15bis Pak = For SF2, Full-5 Merged =WITH= SF2I ExpansionPak 1 (Required!!!) = *Note: you must have SF2I Expansion Pak 1 to gain access to the MiG-15bis lod!! Without it, this mod will do you no good!!* This is a reskin/nationalization of the stock 3W MiG-15bis Fagot-B for use in a KAW envrionment. The data ini (FM) is exceedingly close to RealLife. The 'nation name' and userlist have been limited to China and NKorea. Not only will this 'fix' the aircraft to KAW, but it will also NOT be overwritten by patching or the game-generated random re-rwrites that kill all AI-only aircraft made User-Flyable. There are 2 skins supplied, all in jpg format: NK2- a generic silver with red nose and fin top NKSilver- which is my "The Hunters" MiG skin (aka "Casey Jones" 7-11 skin) Decal radomization is set to TRUE When in-game, you'll see MiG-15bis "Fagot-B" (NK) on the aircraft selection drop-down menu. The window opens with the standard animaion keystroke, shift/0. As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Good Hunting! wrench kevin stein Click here to download this file
  13. SF2 Antonov An-2 "Colt" by Pasko

    Version

SF2 Antonov An-2 "Colt" by Pasko 9/1/2013 = For SF2 (Any/All; Full5 Merged Reccomended) *Note: this mod will probably NOT work in SF/Wo* 1stGens at any patch Level* Modifications, tweeks, partial reskinning and redecaling for Pasko's An-2, bring it (more in line) with SF2 levels. Included are the 4 skins, most still in their 1stGen tiny sized bmp format: Aeroflot Soviet Green North Korean Black Polish Camo The Aeroflot skin was partly redone, to remove the painted on registration number; 17 new historically accurate number decals were created for it. Decal randomization is TRUE for all skins. See "Change List" below for more details. This aircraft includes the data ini posted by Dave on the CA boards; I don't know who built the FM, but it's MUCH better now!! However, further fine tuning MAY be requried, as during testing, I experienced wingman crashings on take off. Be Advised! Control/O (Oh, not Zero) opens the cargo door on the side. Weapons are NOT included. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for the change list. For those that have the 1stGen releases, it's advised you delete, or move to a storage disk or elsewhere, the aircraft and decals folders for them; this pak is desinged to replace them in total. For those having this aircraft from other "all inclusive" mods pack, you may wish to review this pak before installing it over your existing aircraft. For saftey's sake, and all that kind of stuff. **The aircraft herein are released in "AS IS" Condition. Any and all issues/problems that cannot be solved via ini edits will exist forever, as new models are unlikely to be created** Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein
  14. The Black Widow is NOT dead, just on hold while other more important aircraft are finished. IMO, the B-17G (and by inference) and the 262 should take precedence. All it needs is skinning and LOD work (still some issues). All my original decals can, and ARE being reused as they're 98.6% historically accurate. To go along with Star's Spit Pits (or even reusing Kess's old ones), there's Cocas' Mk V series & Seafires still in the works.

  16. (read with sarcastic voice tone) imagine my amazement the late-issue patches fucked up Fubar's excellent (and hard work) Don't know if Ed will have time to look at; he's quite busy with work and such. We can only hope, as you've stated above, the thing was SUPERB before the 2013 patches
  17. that would be my suggestion -- an "empty" wav dropped into the Menu or Flight folders (can't remember which exactly.) the game ALWAYS looks in folders first for which/what ever files it needs, and uses those over what's stored in the cats.
  18. and we'll be here to (hopefully!) answer them!
  19. remember a VERY important thing: if you add something via FakePilot, it's there forever, and will cause interference with other weapons/stores mounting. In this case, you'll have these extra pylons floating around now, OTH, if using The Raven Rail ™, you should probably 'clone' an existing hardpoint (in this case the wing stations, set them for IRM only, as a new WeaponsGroup, add the rail via RackType= in the loadout ini, and adjust the vertical positioning of the missle as needed. personally, that's way too much work. just use the existing mounts, and go from there
  20. pylons are always part of the aircraft's physical model (with the exception of bomb racks; MER and TER)
  21. is that a space I see between Vatour and N??? remove the space (using the under score), so reads as VatourN_Cockpit.ini and see what happens.
