  5. please tell me this gunsight will be sitting in a NEW P-40E/F/N?????
  6. if exported, yes hence the name USERlist.ini

  9. truth! this isnt even the right mark used here. and the white tail decal ... don't get me started. 20 minutes work with the original skin, with a couple of layers to redraw panels and rivets ...

  11. nekked airplane p0rn!!!! and this is a FAMILY site!!!
  12. ok, as most of you know, I'm remodding/reissuing some of Veltro ww2 mods... and having sone craziness issues with the 'nations switch', with regards to some of the French aircraft. In particular, the D.520. (i'm not doing a vichy MS406 skin -- you all can that...) The 'exported to enemy' data ini switch really dosen't work as advertised, as you STILL have to select "Vichy ADA" in the nations window on the single mission screen. would you rather have a single aircraft, with instructions/ini/etc MINIMALLY set up for the end user ™ to create a nationalized Vichy version, or do the manual nation selection on from the game's menu screens? either way adds more time to create other items needed for it, and more time away from working on Ed's B-17 Thoughts?
  13. that means 2 or 3 different lods ... cause only the CBI units used the ADF football. (sometning about all the jungles they flew over and needing "guidence") lod 1 - minus upper turret, with football lod 2 - minus upper turret (P-61A) no football (ETO/PTO) lod 3- with upper turret, no football (P-61B) (PTO/ETO, post-war) or, alternatively, one lod with ALL stuff, like we did before, and I can remove the meshs via the 'remove component trick" data ini edits.
  14. it links via the skins. In fact, I've made use of that switch on severla mods (3rd party planes) you just need to keep the hangar screen the same name, and drop it into the appropriate skin folder
  15. File Name: SF2 WW2 Italian Aircraft Pak File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 03 February 2013 File Category: Italian Origin SF2 WW2 Italian Aircraft Pak = For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged RECCOMENDED!) - Something for your MTO-Centric Installs - **Note: Having SF2I Expansion Pak 1 is HIGHLY reccomended, as a few of the destroyed models referenced reach over to the stock destroyed C-47A. If you do NOT have Exp1, you will NOT have the burning wreck on the ground. You will have to locate some other destroyed model for use. Also, due to the extensive modifications to the cockpit and data ini, this mod will absolutely -NOT- work in 06 level 1stGen game installs. 08 Level 1stGens may have some issues, but this has not/cannot be tested by me.** This pak contains a reissue of Veltro2K's WW2 Italian Air Force (Regia Aeronautica) aircraft. These are the complete aircraft, with various/sundry changes. This pak contains: Fiat CR.42 "Falco" (will show in-game as "Fiat CR.42 Falco (V2K)" in game) Fiat BR.20 "Cicogna" Medium bomber Piaggio P.108 Heavy Bomber (no name appears to have been given to it) Sounds, weapons, guns are included. New SF-2 compliant Hangar and/or Loading screens were either converted or new builds for this pak. They are, for the most part the "box art" style. The Falco has as many 1stGen skins as I could find, and they've been incorporated into this pak. Most skins remain in their bmp format, but have been slightly resized. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. User lists have NOT been created; consider these non-exported, RA use only aircraft. See "Changes" in the Notes section for more details. When possible, the original release readmes have been included (LloydNB's Falco skins). As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! =PLEASE= read the "Notes" section for the change list, and other important notations. Also, the Legal Statement has been changed with regards to these aircraft. For those that still have the original releases, it's advised you delete the aircraft and decals folders for them; this pak is designed to replace them in total. **These aircraft herein are released in "AS IS" Condition. The source files have been lost, and there can and WILL be no modifications to the physical model. They 'are as they is' and you must accept them with this caveat in mind. Any and all issues/problems that cannot be solved via ini edits will exist forever, as new models are unlikely to be created** Happy Landings wrench kevin stein Click here to download this file
  16. yup, always at the latest level... warts and all
  17. oh, man!! That means I'll have to make new skins!!! I was gonna issue a 'remod' of the original...but I think I can wait a bit! Well, at least I can reuse all the decals!!!!
  18. need to make some new plane-in-group numbers for some of the French WW2 aircraft, and can't figure out what font it is!! Or is there a 'generic' style that was used in WW2? (i'd even though of reusing some of my LW numbers, but am afraid of getting bitch-slapped by our French members!! ) Ideas? link to fonts?? TIA!!
  19. I know! that's whats been driving me nuts!!!

SF2 WW2 RAF Bombers Pak = For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged RECCOMENDED! w/Expansion Pak 1) **Note: Having SF2I Expansion Pak 1 is HIGHLY reccomended, as a few of the destroyed models referenced reach over to the stock destroyed C-47A. If you do NOT have Exp1, you will NOT have the burning wreck on the ground. You will have to locate some other destroyed model for use. Also, due to the extensive modifications to the cockpit and data ini, this mod will absolutely -NOT- work in 06 level 1stGen game installs. 08 Level 1stGens may have some issues, but this has not/cannot be tested by me.** This pak contains a reissue of Veltro2K's RAF light, medium and heavy bombers used by the RAF during WW2. Unless otherwise notated, all are RAF Bomber Command squadrons. This (VERY LARGE!) pak contains the following aircraft/skin sets (the name in parenthesis is the actual skin folder name)... -Handley Page Halifax 10 Squadron (Hali) -Handley Page Hampden 49 Squadron (RAF) -Lockheed Hudson 224 Squadron (raf1) 48 Squadron, Coastal Command (CC) 459 Squadron, RAAF (MTO -desert camo) VBP-82, US Navy, NAS Argentia, Newfoundland (USN) -Short Stirling 7 Squadron (Stir) -Vickers Wellington 12 Squadron (12) Skins remain in bmp format, decal randomization is set to TRUE. Almost all the original decals have been replaced (squadron codes, aircraft ID letters, serials on some, etc) with new builds or repurposed units from my stock of RAF codes. Almost all markings ARE decals. There are no nose arts. Damage textures are in DDS format. Weapons (the RAF bomb set and the 303 gun) are included. All the 1stGen Hangar and Loading screens were either rebuilt to SF2-spec, or created new for this package. They are in jpg format. The various inis make use of the 'hide component' or the 'open cockpit' statements to make sure the cockpits are where they're supposed to be. This, unfortunately, prevents their use in SF/Wo* games at the 06 patch level, as stated above. Flight modeling, for the most part, remains as originally issued. *Note: includes any/all "tweeks paks" released after the original releases* See "Changes" in the Notes section for more details. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for the change list, and other important notations. Also, the Legal Statement has been changed with regards to these aircraft. For those that still have the original releases, it's advised you delete the aircraft and decals folders for them; this pak is desinged to replace them in total. **These aircraft herein are released in "AS IS" Condition.
