File Name: SF2 WW2 ETO P-51B Mustang Pak File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 14 January 2013 File Category: P-51 SF2 WW2 ETO P-51B Mustang Pak -- Something for the WW2 ETO players -- = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) = *Note: this mod pak is designed to REPLACE, in total, any other USAAF P-51B aircraft you have in your ETO-centric mods folders. You are advised to move, rename, delete or however you wish to do, to eliminate any Old Versions ™ you have.* This is a FULL aircraft pak, with (pretty much) all the trimmings. This pack contains 2 new skin/decal sets... 355th FS, 354th FG "Pioneer Mustang Group" 334th FS, 4th FG Both carry the standard OD/Neutral Gray finish with white ID bands. SKins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. When discoverable, some nose arts are available. Many changes have been effected, they are listed in the 'ChangeLog', in the "Notes" section. Weapons (ok, drop tanks), pilot figures are included, and a NEW engine engine sound. New versions of the 'box art' style Hangar and Loading screens, now fully SF2 compliant. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Wolfs original readmes, when discoverable, are included for historical purposes. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Good Hunting!! wrench kevin stein Click here to download this file

File Name: SF2 WW2 ETO Spitfire 9e, 401 Squadron Skin Pak File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 13 January 2013 File Category: Spitfire SF2 WW2 ETO Spitfire 9e, 401 Squadron Skin Pak -- Something for the WW2 ETO players -- = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) = **SF2:E Expansion Pak 2 REQUIRED to have the Spitfire 9c** A reskinning of the stock 3W Spit 9e to 401 "City of Westmount" Squadron, RCAF during WW2 in Western Europe. Skins remain in their 'lorez' 512 size, and are still in bmp format. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. All marking on the aircraft, excepting the Sky fuselage band are decals. This will make it exceptionally easy for skinners to create other RAF squadrons of this time period. Included are modified data and loadout inis. See 'changes' in the Notes section for full listing. And, for you viewing pleasure, a brand NEW SF2-style Hangar screen. The assumption (oh! that word!!) is being made that you've already made the aircraft player flyable, so no cockpit bits are included. Neither is my "One Click Restore Main Ini" (patent pending). The canopy has been activated via the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0 No weapons or pilot figures are included; you should have them already. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. These 2 Mk.IX skin sets should give the recently (re)relased FWs something to contend with! Happy Landings!! wrench kevin stein Click here to download this file

  11. File Name: SF2 Republic F-105G Thunderchief Wild Weasel by ArmorDave File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 06 January 2013 File Category: F-105 SF2 Republic F-105G Thunderchief Wild Weasel by ArmorDave = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) = *Note: the destroyed model referenced herein 'looks' for the stock destroyed F-105D lod. So, at the very least you MUST have either SF2E, or SF2V to gain access to said destroyed model. Hence the Full 4/5 Merged reccomendation* Some major upgrades to ArmorDave F-105G "Wild Weasel" Thunderchief, bring it in line with SF2 at the Full-5 Merged/Latest Patch level (as of July 2012). This mod is desinged to REPLACE any eariler SF2 update/upgrade versions of AD's aircraft that may be availalbe. Skins remain in bmp format (as they're not excpetionally large in size), and Decal Randomization is TRUE. Damage textures are the older tga versions. The data ini has all new FM parameters, loadouts have been 'adjusted' for Game usage (and may not reflect Real World situations, but =WILL= reflect Game World situations). New engine sound, and some other small tweeks. A new SF2 version of my 'box art' Hangar screen is included. No weapons are included, other than the drop tanks, as I've referenced all stock 3W items. See the "Notes" section for more info on the changes. When 'in game', you'll see on the Aircraft Selection Drop-Down Menu F-105G Thunderchief WW (AD) This will differentiate this aircraft from any others you may (or may not) have. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please -READ- them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too for futher explinations, clarifactions, illuminations and so forth. And notes about any SF2V campaign that may use this aircraft; some slight editing of the campaign ini WILL be necessary due to the 'name change'. A full listing of credits, as always, is below the Install Instructions. Good Hunting! wrench kevin stein Ver.2 uploaded ... fixed/added missing control surfaces!!! Click here to download this file

  13. SF2 WW2 Messerschmitt Bf-109G-10 Pak by MontyCZ an ndiki View File SF2 WW2 Messerschmitt Bf-109G-10 Pak by MontyCZ & ndiki -- Something for the WW2 ETO players -- = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) = *This mod Will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs.* *The Latest Patch Level for SF2 (July 2012) is required for this mod. I'm not sure when the 'mission specific loadout' switch was added; perhaps slightly eariler than the June 2012 patch. If you are NOT at the latest patch level (July, 2012), you SHOULD be! Things will -not- work properly if you aren't.* This is a compliation of several Bf-109 mods by Nigel 'ndidki' Dickenson to MontyCZs Avia S-99 (aka 109G-10) into a more (somewhat, perhaps) coherent, user friendly single aircraft download. I've combined (iirc) 3 different full aircraft mods into one. Skins in this pak are: JG 11 JG 53 JG 300 This represents Bf-109G-10s from the mid-to late war timeframe. Skins remain in their bmp format, and Decal Randomization is set to TRUE. All skins and decals were created by ndicki. The canopy opens with the Standard Animation Keystroke, Shift/0. When 'in game', on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown Menu, you'll see... Bf-109G-10 (MCZ) This will differentiate it from other 109Gs you may have. Weapons, sounds, pilot figures and a NEW SF2 style 'box art' hangar screen. The Loadout.ini makes use of the 'mission specific' style of loadouts to automatically load the 30mm cannon pods on INTERCEPT mission -ONLY-!!. CAP and SWEEP use the internal guns. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, the "Notes" section for other important stuff of interest. 16. NOTE! I goofed on the engine sound, so I'd reccomend downloading the AvHistory Sounds Pak http://combatace.com...-engine-sounds/ and switch to GregoryP's BR_Merlin sound ... its MUCH better!! the upcoming LF 9e will be using that sound (sounds good on both TKs and Wolf's Mustangs, too!!) ----------------------------------------- also, forgot the data ini predated the WEP addition.. so, copy/paste the stuff below over the ENTIRE engine section:

  19. AT-6G Texan "Mosquito FAC"

    Version

    551 downloads

North American AT-6G "Mosquito FAC" for SF/SFG/WoV/WoE/WoI, Post 08 Patch Level and probably SF2/SF2:V This is a mod of Bunyap's little T-6 Texan trainer into the AT-6G as used during the Korean War as the "Mosquito FAC" This is a COMPLETE aircraft mod, with all the trimmings. There have been extensive edits to the data, loadout inis and a "new" cockpit. It is designed for use in the post 08 patch envrionments; in fact a couple of edits WON'T work without being in post 08 patch (movable rudder lights, fer example) It has been totally reskined in a Natural Metal, more of a generic than any particular squadron, with all new Buzz Number and accurate Serial Numbers. I say 'accurate', as they ARE for AT-6G, but not from any particular squadron. All the weapons supplied have been updated for this late game usage, and are supplied in the new 'folder style'. For SF2/SF2V users, a data ini for each weapon is included in each folder. (note: most of these propably already exist in the SF2 weapons pak. PLEASE check before installing, AND note the T-6_30cal_GunPod has been edited to make the guns shoot in the right direction) A new blade-type upper antenna, with repositioned pitot tube, and set for use as a 'fake pilot' seat is also included (thanks to Ravenclaw!!). This is also usable for other nations that used the AT-6G in the COIN or FAC roles. New Hangar Screen, in the WoE style, allowing it's use in all the Classic Series ™ and SF2/2:V and a new Loading Screen are also provided. As always, unzip this to a temp folder somwhere, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions. Enjoy! Wrench Kevin Stein ps: yes, I know the anti-glare panel is 'off' in the screenie above; it has bee fixed. I was just too lazy to take another screenie!
  20. This cracked me up!

OMG!!! that is facking awesome! my wife works for an accounting firm, and it's starting to be 'tax time' here in the states.. She HAS to see this!!
  21. out of curiosity, amariani, what patch level are you on? I seem to (vaguely) recally there being a decal issue on the Spits about this time last year, that one or another of the later patchs may have fixed. as you can see below, 4 different decals on 2 different meshs work fine! (had to make a couple of new ones to replace the old style Let/Let/Roundel, and add the Sky fues band) oh, and fixed the pilot so his shoulder don't stick out the right canopy rail
