  1. if tiles are missing, you get black squares is SF2 my guess would be running out of texture memory
  2. then don't order them to do! in fact, send your wingman home .. Spooky always operated alone
  3. ....that Stary's "trick" with using ONE base skin located in the MAIN aircraft, seperate 'skin' folders with their specific texture sets and decals ini, and differing decals in a 'base' decals folder, works 100% perfectly. experimenated with Raven's Hurricane 1, using the standard Day Camo (Battle of Britian type), and simply pointing the decals ini to differing squadron codes, and a base set of ID letters and serials, created NO issues when selecting the other squadron with a single flight. this means the upload can be much smaller!!!
  4. File Name: SF2 Independence Class CVL -Ver 2 File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 08 December 2012 File Category: Aircraft Carriers SF2 Independence Class CVL by YEYEYE = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) = **** This is version 2.0, with fixed arrestor cables, and parking slots for the French ships. If you've downloaded the original, my apologies - You'll have to redownload, and when installing, just OVERWRITE the originals. *** *Note: There is a distinct probability that this mod will =NOT= work properly in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. Due to data ini and other statements will =NOT= be in effect in 1stGen SF/Wo* at any patch level, it is NOT designed for use in SF/Wo*. It is designed for use in SF2NA, at the most CURRENT patch level. Your milage will vary!* This pak contains the INDEPENDENCE class CVL (light carriers) of the US Navy during WW2 They are fully compliant with SF2NA, having been tested in that envoriment. Names lists, data ini tweeks add the SF2NA radar statments, and other small adjustments. 2 seperate, nationalized versions for the French Navy are also included (good for Suez and Indo-China with the recently re-released FN F4U-7 Corsairs and Hellcats). PA La Fayette R96 PA Bois Belleau R97 All weapons (ok, the guns!) you should have already in you various mods folders, so they are NOT included. BE ADVISED: if using these ships in the KAW mod -the USN Version- (and historically, only one was in Korean waters; USS Bataan), it will cause issues in game-generated single missions. I've detailed these in the "Notes" section below. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please -READ- them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too for futher explinations, clarifactions, illuminations and so forth. NOTE: Do NOT use this version for the KAW Mod!! A seperate versiion, modded by paulo, will be relased ASAP. Again, my apologies! Happy Landings! wrench kevin stein Changes for Ver.2: fixes for arrestor cables by eburger fixes for parking slots (FN only) by paulopanz added missing _COL.lod for USN version Click here to download this file
  5. blame baffmeister for this screenie... he got me thinking to revamp LloydNB's skin for SF2I. Now, I just need to research serials too.. for more decals to make...aaaarhhh!!!
  6. yah, FBVI would only have 2 500lb class bombs (maybe 1000lbs..have to chekc the modlers datafile again! got pretty will dialed in..it's close enough for MoD work!!!! thank you, though, for giving it a shot! got BoB skinned/modded SF2 versions of you Hurri 1 coming out soon, too!
  7. made a sepearte statinf for the cookie... I know it might be a little 'high' the fuselage (useing the free camera veiw and wandering INTO the aircraft to check!) // station for 4000lb Cookie/// [bombBay2] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=2 StationGroupID=2 StationType=INTERNAL AttachmentPosition= 0.00,-1.50,-1.30 AttachmentAngles= 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 LoadLimit=2200 AllowedWeaponClass=BOMB AttachmentType=UK NumWeapons=1 AttachmentPosition001=0.00,-1.50,0.30 DiameterLimit=0.80 LengthLimit=2.80 BombBayAnimationID=7 BombBayOpenTime=2.0 BombBayCloseTime=2.0 MinExtentPosition=-0.45, 0.75,-0.75 MaxExtentPosition= 0.45,-2.65,-0.40 the -130 up/down does keep it inside the bird, when the doors are closed. Wonder if that isn't the probme....i's the same place as the other bomds. hmmmm sounds like a positioning error on my part edit: I think I see the problem ... 2 attachment postions!!! oh, dopey me!!
  8. don't forget, the skin's number list MUST match the numbers called (49-99, or whatever) Or... make specific sets for each skin; this has been discussed in the past (daddyairplanes squadron thread, iirc), with the numbering in regular sequence. a lot of odd glitches have started presenting themselves of late
  9. simple decal ini edit.; but leaving it as a 'nationalized IDF version" would work better. There's been some issues with userlists I've been experiencing of late (with the AN Hellcat, for instance) iirc, the IDF skin could use a refersh .. got HomeGrown Templates ™. Used them on all the Mossies... you'll have B Mk.IV FB. VI FB VI (SOE) -pretty easy to guess which squadron!! NF XII all new semi-compliant FMs, and lots of tweeking all reskinned, all new decals. (although the B.4 is exhibiting fuselage decal bleeb with the 692 squdron decals, and Im not sure how/or what to do with that.)
  10. File Name: SF2 WW2 Heinkel He-219 Uhu by Pasko File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 12 December 2012 File Category: Other SF2 WW2 Heinkel He-219 Uhu by Pasko -- Something for the WW2 ETO Players -- = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) = * There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However, due to the extensive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, some features may not work or other issues may present themselves. Those that attempt SF/Wo* usage do so at their own risk. This mod was built and tested in an ETO-centric mods folder built from SF2NA, at the latest patch level. * Modification/tweeks/adjusments/etcs for Pasko's WW2 Luftwaffe Nightfighter, bring it to a more usable state in the SF2 envrioment. According to the original readme, this repsents He-219A-7s in the Late War timeframe. Skins and decals in this Pak are... 1/NGJ-1 (gray mottle uppers, night black unders) 2/NJG-1 (overall gray mottle) The skins, due to their size and lo-rezness, have been left in their original bmp format. All new 'code letter/call letters' for both have been created. There are no Stab markings for either aircraft. Guns are not included; you should have them already. A new SF2 version of my 'box art' hangar, and new loading screen are provided. See change log for more details. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too, as it contains the changelog. All original readmes from the 1stGen releases are included somewhere in the various folders. 11. DecalNumberRandomize=TRUE DecalNumberBlockSize=25 DecalNumberStart=24 DecalNumberEnd=49 have you tried that?
  12. you need the "Detail & Scale" on the Skyraider and the "Warbird Tech" as well if you want them, let me know. It'll take 2 attachment uploads, as the cursed pdf are pretty big
  13. my apologies, Brain!! and thanks for this!!
  14. ....and that looks a LOT better than my hack-job using Hinchbrooke's EAGLE!!!
  15. that's exactly the bird. you even got the extra vert fins! nicely done i'd suggest building the radome into the model, if not too much work. the one I'd used above is (more than) slightly off scale for the APS-20 set
  16. no, the Graf Zeppllin was very real, it just never entered service (and is still sitting on the bottom of the Baltic). the 109T were used in Norway === required screenie...
  17. well, I got the parking slots figured.. now, if I can just get the 109T2s to not flip over and dance around on the deck before launch....
  18. needs a new FM badly for SF2; otherwise Skippybing did a super job on it!!
  19. still in the hangar...awaiting finished LODs
  20. 12 12 2012

    umm..it's supposed to 12/21/2012
