  1. I should ammend what I posted, with the caveat that "I did't follow the roadway's in the tile screenie above", but you get my drift! (but did on the finished tile -- as one can see on the Eritrea map, where that tile is used - sea2city50)
  2. Keep safe in them winds and waters!! the ini and folder looks ok.... is the LOD in the cockpit folder??? (been a while since I used Ordway's pit)
  3. unfortunately, there is no tutorial ... can only be done the 3W TE... and follow the streets, to get "the grid" expect to spend 1 + hour per tile (cities are the worst) the screenies should show you the steps, pretty much. after opening 'texture map list', selcet the tile and go from there. it's the 'Terrain Object' box thingy in the lower right of pic 2 black objects buildings, white are trees.
  4. ain't it nice having a decent, modern model with NO decal bleeds, and all the other DX10 eye candy??? Enrico did some fantastic work on these!!!
  5. the new cockpit will be in the F, but can be retrofitted to the E quite easily
  6. one way to elimiate seeing it would be the re-limit the max negative pitch in the cockpit ini (note: shown below NOT from the Turkey, just an example) MaxPitch=90 MinPitchFront=-45 MinPitchRear=-35 worth a shot, at any rate!!
  7. standard answer, brother!!! "2 weeks" what with 5 variants to work on...like below. and 2 new Spitfire, too

Like the other Shooting Stars, the skin is in dds format, and the decals are Randomized. Weapons, sounds, pilot figures, etc are =NOT= included; they are in the 'base pak' linked above. You WILL need them!! As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Happy Landings! wrench kevin stein Click here to download this file

  11. Thanks Heck! The "A" model (well, sorta*), E and F will all be released when I get the finalized flight models. 98.6% historical serials, markings etc. The KAW Sabre be an EXTREEEEEEEMLY large pak. Not just US, but 2 Squadron SAAF Sabres too. 17 skin/decal sets in total, between the 3 marks In truth, credit MUST go the Fubar for the FM and ravenclaw for his templates -- I just did the decals and skins from Volker's beyond superb template. (of course, now I have to update all the other Sabre mods I've done to the new paradime (sp?) of the better skin. still to come is a remake of the FAC Canadair (nationalized) and the Mk.6 with RCAF and AMI skins (in between rebuilding/finishing the TMF WW2 Corsairs) *we don't have a real A lod
  12. File Name: Canadair Sabre Mk.4 Pack, for SF2 File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 26 October 2012 File Category: F-86 Canadair Sabre Mk.4 Pack, Royal Air Force/Royal Canadian Air Force = For SF2, Any & All (Full-5 Merged Reccomended) = Version 2.0, updated 2/13/2106 -- see change log This package contains a complete revamp, for SF2, of my RAF Sabre Mk.4, originally released for SF/Wo* in 2006. Contained within are skin/decals for the following RAF Squadrons, and one RCAF squadron, from the 2nd TAF based in Germany in the 1950s. These 3 are in "standard" period Euro Camo: 3 Squadron 92 Squadron 112 Squadron (Sharkmouths) and a revamped 1stGen RCAF skin: 414 Squadron, RCAF "Black Knights" (natural metal) New skins for all were created using ravenclaw's beyond superb templates. All skins are in jpg format. Decal randomization is TRUE for all skins. New DDS damage textures are included, as is an all new SF2 version of my "Box Art" Hangar Screen. No weapons are supplied; drop tanks, rockets, bombs, etc can be found in the GunnyPak. National insignia, finflash and 1 set of tail numbers reference stock items. Make sure you are current in your SF2 install! (read: I'm using RAF Hunter letters) An all new, SF2-compliant FM was created for these aircraft; it flys like it should! A userlist ini is also included. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please READ them! Also, the "Notes" section for a more detailed change/correction list. The original readme from my SF/Wo* release is included, just for fun. Tim "Canada" Elliot's readme for the 414 skin is also included. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein Changes for V.2: updated hit boxes adjusted loadouts new "1" skin map, w/o A-G Panel (camo only) new "CL-13 bits" changed _001.lod for one with bomb pylons -all other lods the same Click here to download this file
  13. because the envrio ini in that one is so old, it has moss growing on the north side. (meaning: designed for pre-06 level 1stGens)
  14. i never finished mine. maybe nigel? (ndiki) has some. havent seen him around for a while, tho given the timeframe the Mk.9s started in, the green/gray uppers is correct from mid-1942 on
  15. is this like 'cow tipping'??? never heard of helo tipping!!!
  16. don't know much about campaign inis, but adding the CV stations is less than 5 minutes work on the IMe water bmp; the relative locations for the carriers in Musketeer are know, or easily infered by aircraft range (read: short!!) Somewhere I had a map as to where the RN and FN task forces were....
  17. monty: that would be COOL! I know paulo is going to be going blind making nose art decals for the SuperFort for KAW!!! warrior: all the info you need is readily available in the SF2 Knowledge Base.
  18. horses**t!! They drop right in to SF2!! (I've Superforts in BOTH PTO and Korea mods folder!) They may (ok, will) need new flight models, but they work just fine 'out of the box' When left as AI controled, as all heavies should be, they work as advertised (albeit at lower altitudes than is is historical, but more or less correctly)
  19. better? this is about the best I can get it!
  20. test skins; one being working one, the other still to be the done (yes, BOTH new-ish models)
  21. so, exactly how is it different from the ones we already have??? In partucular, the aforementioned "What If" ETO, and my 498th BG for the PTO versions?
  22. no problem!! I'm glad someone showed me HOW it supposed to be!! The profile I used had the way I did it.
