what pit are you using on the Warhawk?? My old mod used Kesselbrut's Hurricane pit, and needs a bunch of tweeks. If that's the case...use the data below: if any other, you're on your own! -

I take you've not see the P/F-47D pak that in the SF2/WW2 aircarft downloads section? http://combatace.com/files/file/12375-pf-47d-25-thunderbolt-by-wolf257-for-sf2/ using Stary's pit this for the razorback or bubble top?. Position should be the same (hell, the data inis are almost identical) regardless. if not, ust adjust fore/aft, up/down as needed. I'd SUGGEST looking at the -25s data ini VERY CLOSELY!! -- you should pick up on the changes needed as to the rest, search the SF2 KB for "double cockpit issue". EVERY single one of the WW2 aircraft will need adjustment to the cockpit positons in their cockpit ini due to the 'way' SF2 reads the 0/0 point of the LOD -
Tu-142 'Bear-F", Indian Naval Air Service
Wrench posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - File Announcements
File Name: Tu-142 'Bear-F", Indian Naval Air Service File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 20 July 2012 File Category: Other Tu-142 'Bear-F', Indian Naval Air Service = For SF2 series Games, Full 5 Merged and/or SF2NA ONLY!! = -An addition for the Indo-Pak Mod- *As stated above you MUST have a Full-5 Merged install with SF2:NA to gain access to the Tu-95RT lods this mod requires. If you do not meet this minimum requirement, do =NOT= download this, as you'll be unable to use it.* Ini mods, redecaling, etc, of the stock SF2NA Tu-95RT recreate (a passble) Tu-142 Bear-F as used by 312 Squadron "Albatross" of the INAS. All textures are jpg format; this should pose no issues for users at the latest patch level (April 2012 or later) Although a cockpit IS provided, it's "suggested" that the aircraft be left under AI control. Several 'issues' have recently appeared on non-radar equipped cockpits for player use. I built this, basically, to have something 'interestering' parked around the large airbases. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please READ them! Also, the "Notes" section for more details, as there are a few small differences in the INAS Real Life version, from the 3W one. Good Hunting! wrench kevin stein Click here to download this file -

first, one needs to make the MiGs and Sus flyable.. basic info here: http://combatace.com/topic/20789-how-to-make-ai-planes-flyable/ (it's also HIGHLY suggested to read all the posts in the SF/Wo* Knowledge Base, as most of the basic knowledge is readily applicable to the SF2 series as well. Don't forget to read all the stuff in the SF2 KB, too) and you'll need the various Mig/Su cockpits. Most are still in the SF/Wo* (hereinafter called "1stGens") downloads section. READ the readmes that come with the various cockpit mods -- they'll give full install instructions. welcome to our world!! -

do you HAVE to Scal terrain? if you ain't got the terrain that a particular mission is built for, it ain't gonna show up! and yes, the "black" bits indicates missing textures. best advice ... delete SZ carrier, REDOWNLOAD and re install it. Something got f***ed up somewhere; best to start fresh -

Seahawk Mk.101, INAS Tweeks Pak
Wrench posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - File Announcements
File Name: Seahawk Mk.101, INAS Tweeks Pak File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 25 July 2012 File Category: Sea Hawk Seahawk Mk.101, Indian Naval Air Service = For SF2 series Games, Full 5 Merged and/or SF2NA ONLY -WITH- Expansion Pak2!! = -An addition for the Indo-Pak Mod- *As stated above you MUST have a Full-5 Merged install with SF2:NA, at the latest (6/2012) patch level to take advantage of the 'carrier operations' it brings. Also, if using one of the optional cockpits, you'll need Expansion Pak 2, as one of these optional cockpits references the EE Lightning F.1. If you do not meet these minimum requirement, do =NOT= download this, as you'll be unable to use it.* This package is designed to upgrade/update the INAS Seahawk Mk.101, from Paulopanz's pak, available at the following url: http://combatace.com/files/file/12982-seahawk-fga6100101-ins-vikrant-combo/ (you won't need the carrier, just the aircraft) This mod is designed to be installed OVER that pre-existing one. This is =NOT= a full aircraft pak; it does include an optional cockpit howevr; lots of inis and plenty of minor tweeks. adjusted decals size/positioning added destroyed model to data ini (uses a Hunter) SF2-ish radar statements Adjusted weapons loadouts, mission statements New SF2-style INAS Seahawk101 hangar screen New DDS damage textures. optional F-86D cockpit (included, ini is called "Seahawk101_cockpit.ini") Optional EE Lightning F.1 ini, with adjusted position statements (ExpPak2 Users only!) Due to some rather 'odd' changes/behaviors from one of the recent patchs, it seems that radar equipped aircraft having cockpits -without- the scope no longer show the radar screen 'popup' in the corner on Normal Flight mode. This should eliminate that issue, at least on this aircraft. While the 2 radar-eqipped cockpits are not perfect matches, they work pretty well. Details on selection are in the "To Install" section. Screenies included in this pack show the 2 different radar-equipped pits for ease of selection. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please READ them! Also, the "Notes" section for more details, especially on selecting the optional cockpits. Good Hunting! wrench kevin stein Click here to download this file -

Harvard Mk.IIB, Indian and Pakistani Air Forces Pak = For SF2 series Games, Full 4/5 Merged = -An addition for the Indo-Pak Mod- This is a package of Harvard trainer aircraft for both the Indian and Pakistani air forces. It contains 2 complete aircraft and the PAF variant has 2 skins, as shown in the accompaning screenshot. All weapons, sounds, NEW dds damage textures and a 'generic' hangar screen are included. A 'new' destroyed model is included (it's close enough in shape!<g>) All skin textures are jpg, and Decal randomization is set to TRUE. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please READ them! Also, the "Notes" section for more details. Happy Landings! wrench kevin stein Updated 7/30/2012 v 1.1 with corrected credits in readme (hopefully, got them right this time) apologies! -

the SoCal terrain hasn't been updated for CV stations -- in fact, it's still in the 1stGen downloads, and will need HEAVY editing (unless you want to attach the various inis and the _water.bmp he'll need). perhaps, he should get a terrain that already properly set up for carrier usage? Persian Gulf comes to mind... -

in the SF2 /Aircraft downloads section; somwhere in july 2010 (release date). In the release thread, there should be an updated data ini, as the Nov 2011 patch 'shifted' some items. after this week, it won't be needing any updates, huh? -

he may not be fully SF2NA compliant in his game install, and/or the terrains he's using are NOT setup with CV zones on their _water.bmp and "NavalMap=TRUE" a LOT more information is required so the 'fault' can be run down. Shooting in the dark here, without NVGs -

i d/led it a couple of weeks ago, for this very same idea. the thing is completely unflyable ... it needs serious work. At worst, if not readily fixable, comment out the cockpit line so it reverts to AI only, and just have it parked around the bases (dont forget the parked carrier span has to equal the actualy rotor span INAS versions)
