  1. expansion 3 has been in the works for 6-9+ months; a well known subject
  2. and all of the photo's come from the source book listed in my readme -- Naval Fighters #41 of course, if there's really an issue with the ships/squadrons I've chosen, I can always whip out decals for some other (Forestall class?) or whatever!
  3. note to self: finish off TMF J-7I, J-7II, J-7IIA and F-7M
  4. does this actually belong in The Pub, or perhaps in the SF2 Forums???

Fairchild AC-119G & AC-119K Gunship Tweeks Pak = For SF2, Any and All, Full-4/5 Merged = *Designed with SF2:V in mind* A bunch of tweeks, modifications, and a new set of 100% historicly accurate serial number decals for MontyCZ's AC-119G and AC-119K Gunships. This is =NOT= a full aircraft pak -- just inis and decals and suchlike. You -MUST- have the original AC-119s to add this pak to. Designed for use with the SF2:V Expansion Paks (you can find the URLs for the various paks yourself), or NeverEnough's SF2 Mod Paks: http://combatace.com/files/file/9556-ac-119g-shadow-for-sf2/ http://combatace.com/files/file/9572-ac-119k-stinger-for-sf2/ or directly into the original downloads. Many tweeks/adjustments/fixes, etc to most of the inis bring it a bit more "SF2-ish". All weapons are supplied (illuminator flare, flare pods and the Stinger FLIR). Guns are NOT included; you should have them already. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. A new 'heavy radial' engine sound is included (from the A-1 Skyraider as they both used R-3350s). Lots minor little tweeks. New SF2 versions of the hangar screens for both aircraft are included. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them! Happy Hunting! wrench kevin stein
  6. I usually see only 2 types -- large span and short span
  7. 'bout frakking time! what of the AS,CAS,Armed recon on "other maps made Naval"??? The persian gulf is sitting here waiting to go, if that's fixed. Effects causing crash/lockup??? That's gonna take a while to run down....
  8. i also found a couple of 'flipped' or misaligned tiles, and fixed a couple of the city/road transitions. I can send you the TFD/HFD if you want, Gepard
  9. hmmm...perhaps it would be a good time to scour the web for pdf versions of Yefrim Gordon's "Red Star" series ... well worth having/reading. (as Ed can tell, as I sent him the RS on the Fencer...)
  10. static Hercs already exist (courtesy of our Argentinian friends); C-17s would require a new 'terrain object' to be built. (however, if you have Veltro's -before their removal- they'll automaticly generate as parked aircrft). ----- hurc: look in the recently released NAfrica/Eastern Med terrain (or any other of mine from the last 12 months) -- you'll find gray (re)painted static C-130s, and a repainted CH-47 (use the CH-47GN_static.bmp - it's all green) and several others I've got all their (the argentine static models) repainted for 'generic' terrain usage. if you need anything, let me know. Don't forget the static parked Huey, too!

  12. I forgot to mention, some of the stuff included in the templates by paulopanz ... he figured out a few oddites I hadn't
  13. note the parked wing oversweep. Now, if the damn things would just catch the frakking wire!!! (i'll be releasing it with a caveat on CV landings, and plea for repair! )
  14. 1) may be a 'mission type' error -- there's really nothing for the Nighthawk to DO in SF2NA, as it's a 'STRIKE" only aircraft (unless somebody f***ed with the data ini....) (also, Op Darius takes place after the 117s were retired -- you prolly copied it from DesertStrom) as to the KF-2, can't help ya there
  15. iir, that's what I did; RWR replaces the clock (it's been several years since I did that originaly!)
  16. Dominator's on deck (almost ready for re-release!)
  17. Pureblues' new 104S-CB departs (oddly enough, from Tenagra AFB, Greece!!)
  18. i don't believe it's possible, due to their nature of 'disappearing' from the aircraft!! (unlike drop tanks that a part of the A/C lod)
  19. cockpit ini needs some updating: add this to the insturment listings: (overwrite the existing oilpressue, if listed) Instrument[049]=OilPressureGauge Instrument[050]=ADI2_Roll Instrument[051]=ADI2_Pitch and stick this at the bottom (this'll activate the secondary ADI ball) (overwrite the existing OP gauge callout) [OilPressureGauge] Type=OIL_PRESSURE_INDICATOR NodeName=needle_oilpress MovementType=ROTATION_Y Set[01].Position=-184 Set[01].Value=0.0 Set[02].Position=-118.5 Set[02].Value=20.0 Set[03].Position=-56.0 Set[03].Value=40.0 Set[04].Position=5.5 Set[04].Value=60.0 Set[05].Position=67.5 Set[05].Value=80.0 Set[06].Position=133.5 Set[06].Value=100.0 [ADI2_Roll] Type=BANK_INDICATOR NodeName=ADI2 MovementType=ROTATION_Y ValueUnit=DEG Set[01].Position=0 Set[01].Value=0 Set[02].Position=-360.0 Set[02].Value=360.0 [ADI2_Pitch] Type=PITCH_INDICATOR NodeName=ADI2 MovementType=TEXTURE_V ValueUnit=DEG Set[01].Position=0.5 Set[01].Value=-90 Set[02].Position=0 Set[02].Value=0 Set[03].Position=-0.5 Set[03].Value=90.0 EDIT: don't forget to copy/paste the Attitude2.bmp from the stock zipper pit to th /cockpit folder -- the original has a small glitch totally dig the autographed loading screen! how cool is that!!! thanks PB, for another cool Zipper!

  21. only if one removes the clock and repurposes that node INTO the RWR display, as has been done (major snippage) Instrument[013]=HSIWheel Instrument[014]=AttitudeIndicator Instrument[015]=ADI_BankIndicator Instrument[016]=CourseArrow Instrument[017]=RWR Instrument[018]=Mirror1 --- and in the clock call out...
