  1. Sicily is most definatly on the Libya map!! I distinctly remember putting a resturant near the summit of Mount Etna!! Corsica is behind "The Wall", unfortunately. However, on the WW2 Tunisia map ... both it and Sardinia are represented (but it'd take a hell of a lot of work to reubild THAT from WW2 to Modern Day Standards ™ -and Sardinia it near the northern edge of "The Wall" and unusable. And still not far enough east for Balkan states, or north to Aviono (sp?) this map is designed more to compliment the Libya map (and PB's Anatolia to some extent), and for possible use with Libyan/Egyptian "differences in understanding" and support for the 2010 revolt, or other 'conflicts of interest' == as to the DS question, you MUST be at the latest patch level -- April 2012 for those textures to work. That's something I didn't agree with, but it DOES make the download more than 25% smaller ===

  5. paulo has to 2-tone in one of the Skytrain/Dakota paks, which can easily be repainted using the templates available in the D/L section. it's what I based the AC-47 on (which I keep forgetting to release....)
  6. a STOCK aircraft as DLC without the proper STOCK terrain to fly it on?? (not speaking about add-ons, as those are NOT taken into consideration at the Top Level) Doubtfull. but I voted yes anyway, 'cause I'm a Contrary

  8. afaik, the game engine still needs to know there's tanks there, and how much fuel they hold, hence the need for the weaponsdata entry. no lods needed (like the stock birds), just the data
  9. on problemo!!! the "final product" bmp has to square, 128x128, but it stretchs to the rectantle shape you see in game

  13. new map (well, a complete rebuild of a WW2 map), and yes -- it uses the dreaded/hated/much disliked IME tile set --and about 20odd new transitions for IME. i'll post screenies later in the screenshots thread -- actually, there's 2 already up in the old, locked screenshots thread, near the last 2 pages. look for an EAF phantom, and an EAF Fishbed, with the orange triangle id markers (new skin, soon to be released)

  16. you're joking right, little brother??? its in the MiG-21 folder, of course!! Known in shorthand as 'the aircraft's main ini ie: MiG-21MF.ini, for example follow the instructions on the link above, and you'll be able to fix all the made-flyables with my (patent pending) "One Click Fix"
  17. expect to spend several hundred hours hand-tiling a lot of areas, expecially coastlines -- just wait till you get the do the cities (to say nothing of building the targets ini) Insert Evil Laugh ™ --> HERE <--- I also have a s**t-load of new IME transition tiles (that you'll most likely be needed -and other folks as well-) that'll be released sometime soon when I finish the Eastern Med terrain (Libya/Greece/Crete/Egypt/w.Turkey)
  18. that's a a normal occurance ... as covered here: http://combatace.com/topic/55746-patching-made-easy-part-deux/ after patching or DLC intalation, EVERY originally AI-controled aircraft made player usable will revert back to non-flyable. follow that link above, and follow the instruction I give in there.

LimitedNations=TRUE for GermanyCE; check the terrain's nations.ini, and add USMC?? the "NationName" decal is tied to the service (in this case, usaf instead of usmc) So if the nation shown on the 1st page is Navy, it should read "NAVY" (experiment with the stock F-15A, and see what happens!) interestering to note, the 'nation' is grayed out on the loadout page; did you paint the stars on, and not using an insignia decal?
  22. you mean an M1939?? it has a shadow issue, so leave it turned off --- I don't think you can add things either, but I've never tried, but really doubt it
  23. the remove component don't work on ground objects - I've tried it too! hey, if Monty is on the case, you'll get what you need. He's DA MAN!!! here's a 'detuned' version of the Oerlikon 35 dual mount, without radar, as originally produced in the early 60. You'll need the 35mm_KDA gun (also used on the Gepard SPAAG), but you should have that. It's called "2ZLA", and just ignore the userlist it's not active, and designed for the later version with Skygurad
