  1. Happy Birthday Brain32!

have a GREAT day, man!!! here's one on me ... wrench kevin stein
  2. if one want to know how that can go wrong, read up on the flight charastics of the CS-199s -- AFTER they lost all the DB-60* series engine, and used the He-111 Jumos --- since the Daimler s were inverted V12s, they turned the 'right way' (ie: opposite) for the fin offset. The Jumo's turned INTO the offset, causing all kinds of torque-steer related problems (the fledgling IDF lost quite a few that way) Wonder of the Buchon Ha-115 (?) as used in the movie Battle of Britan had the same issue, what with them using Merlins....
  3. ok got it ... all the Corsairs have offset vert fins. It's to counteract engine torque; very common on high HP WW2 aircraft (on both sides of the line) in game shot from KAW top view is from Detail & Scale vol 2 on the Corsair it's supposed to be that way. Bpao really knew his stuff! The high level of details in his work is STILL amazing!
  4. screenie please? we're using it in KAW, and nobody's noticed or mentioned it (in fact, flys great in SF2 with the new FM)
  5. rocket rack test shot, PoAF in Mozambique. The shear amount of rockets makes up for my crappy gunnery.....
  6. Russo said he'd look at down-converting the N to a D, but I think he might be starting fresh. Too many differences, iirc. Haven't heard any of any progress yet. And I've got a fairly workable SF2level FM for Wolf's D-25. The only problem are the 3 unmapped pylons. Once we get a decent physical model, decaling is cinch *forgot - got a fairly decent one for Russo's N as well.* definately could use more data in USAFE T-jets, either E or G!! The 3W F is pretty well convred, both with stock decals and ?? (paulo or carlo??) works too
  7. File Name: A-12 'Avenger II' by Rhugouvi (for SF2) File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 14 September 2011 File Category: What If Hangar A-12 'Avenger II' by Rhugouvi =For SF2, Full-4 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) This is an upgrade package for the Beta A-12 that's been around for several years, with tweeks to bring it more in line with SF2. This package contains 2 skins for the A-12, one each for Atlantic & Pacific Fleets (cause I don't want to show favoritism either way). They are: VFA-105 "Gunslingers" VFA-192 "Golden Dragons" (The World Famous Golden Dragons) All markings are decals. As this is a Low-Observabale Strike aircraft, with a secondary CAP role, there is no internal gun. However, for those mission profiles that don't require the greatest of stealth (CAS/Armed Recon, Anti-ship & CAP), a 'mission specific' gunpod is included/available with a 30mm GAU-13 cannon, similiar to how it's done for the F-35 JSF. It's suggested you have the GunnyPak installed for the various modern/post-modern prescision strike munitions. All the sounds are also provided, as are new SF2 style hangar and loading screens. The wingfold works (use the Shift/9 key), but the canopy does not. Running light positions have been adjusted, and they follow the wings when folding. As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... There are 'Operational Usage Helps' that might be quite usefull in a pinch. Rhugouvi's original readme is also included (in French). With thanks to TMF via Sony Tuckson for use of the F/A-18 Hornet cockpit & avionics. Happy Landings! wrench kevin stein Click here to download this file
  8. i'd actually tested it with the stock F-15A pit, with tweeked avionics ini to add GM radar. I just liked the 3 mfds on the TMF Hornet pit better. If you've got one 'working', I say Go Fer It!!!
  9. So, in other words, Paskos??? It, like all other pre-08 aircraft, needs a new FM.
  10. the DATs Yak-3 or Pasko's original Yak-3??? if it's the DAT one, you might want to post the question over there, as it'll probably get a faster response
  11. alfie, you know that one is almost a real life ™ bird??!!
  12. wait .... we're supposed to play this game??? I thought we were just supposed to build thing for it!!
  13. the VF-124 skin cleaned up NICE!!!
  14. don't think so carlo -- from my old, only remaing WoE install (RussoUK's bird -- lod dated 6/2004!!!) Other than needing an updated FM, no real issues (manual canopy works, shadow works perfectly!)

  16. I want some coffee with my Danish ... 'cause baby, it's COLD outside!! (russo's G T-jet, reskinned and redecaled)
  17. Statics

short answer: you can't. The engine reads the center point from the extended landing gear. The only way to get them to sit correctly, is to BUILD static-only aircraft in MAX
  18. what I like about AD's pit, is the yellow paint on the sill, and looking out, you can see the intakes (yes, one of my cheats for positioning the pilot). Could acutally move forward at bit, but I'm letting that one go --- other pic: J-35A out to the target range for rocket practice. (just used stock lau-3as -- I know there's a bofors manufactured RP .. but need data to 'clone' one from existing stocks)
  19. LOTS of time ... considering the detail in the terrain (cough, cough), and the fact 15-20 new aircraft will be supplied
  20. like this? J-35B, natural metal (uses AD's pit), minimal radar, 4 winders, (CAP, INTERCEPT); 2 lau-3 RPs (CAS) were any of the A or B painted green or any camo? -- finally saw the tractor beam -- its coming from the nose gear strut/doors area. even when using the j-35f.shd lod it's noticable only the ground. still don't have the bouncy jigglly! and i'm off to bed ... its 1:30 am here
  21. they look too smooth for Paskos, and have the correct drop tank -- i'd say 3W --- AD's 105G pit, full hud, tews rwr. it seems the hud is a bit larger on this version, than on the stock SF2V 105D_66, but there's more room at the top of the canopy bow i'll send it to whom ever wants it stary: i'll send you the whole plane, if ya want! First, I have to find a gray skin for it, for the later years of service. it should be noted, the gauge measurments have been 'metricized'
  22. ok, some cockpit experimentations... armordaves 105D pit, no rwr in the J35D stock 3w 105D_66 w/rwr and full HUD in the J35J (note: is says j35f, where it should say J35J my bad!) i still need to test the J with AD's 105G pit - which has the rwr scope, but it's pretty much the same as the regular one, with the rwr scope at the bottom of the rightside windshield bow
