  1. ship killers .... (yes, they DO need proper marking decals ... and a later norm76 skin...)
  2. on a side note, for the skinners/decalers ... simmerspaintshop.com has 2 psds with Swedish lettering and squadron markings in their /Downloads section. Might be of some help!
  3. allowed number of squadrons: runway 3 (the dirt one) = 1 Runway 2 (small medium, semi-paved) = 1 Runway 1,5,6 (standard mediums) = 3 Runway 4 (the large, 2crossing runways) = 6
  4. it's also multi-season, which is a MAJOR plus! there is a few tiling errors, and some airfields might need plaement adjustments or re-flattening. Haven't spent too much time in it, but I Likes What I See!!
  5. What the Cool Kids are Doing

well, at least he didn't have to pay for lap dance.....

  8. File Name: F-4J(UK) Phantom II File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 29 September 2011 File Category: F-4 F-4J (UK), Royal Air Force =For SF2, Any and All (Full-4 Merged Reccomended/Preferred,etc) This package will create a new aircraft, the F-4J(UK), as used by the RAF in the post-Falklands era, by No. 74 "Tiger" Squadron. This mod uses ALL stock, in game items for weapons (excepting the SUU-23black gunpod included, just in case you ain't got it). No lods or cockpit bits are supplied, as everything is referenced from the stock 3W USN/USMC F-4J. Loadouts have been adjusted to use RAF weapons. Almost all new decals have been created, with 100% accurate serial and ID call letters for the 15 aircraft taken from US stocks to beef-up UK Air Defense. Historically, 74 was used pretty much ONLY in the AD role, but for fun & playability I've left all the other mission statements intact, excepting SEAD. 2 skins are supplied with this pak, making use of the 'change skin by year switch' from some previous patch or another. They are: 3-tone grays w/plane tail (1982-1987) 3-tone grays w/all black tail (1987-??) **Please Note: these are Hi-Rez skins, at 2048x2048. End Users ™ with weaker machines may need to resize down 1 step** All decals are the same for both skins; several of which are taken from Sundowners' original mod -why waste good decals?. Decal radomization is set to TRUE, so be at whatever patch level is requried (post May/June/whatever!) For fun, you might want to LOOK at the supplied numberlist -- look closley at the vertical column of call letters for the 1st six aircraft. See if you can see what it says! As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them!! The expected "Notes" section as well, for those interested. With special thanks to Ant for uploading his Phantom templates some time ago -- it sure makes life easier when you've go the best to work with!! Any/all mistakes are mine, and mine alone. 11. the way I've look at that series, Federals would have (Great War time frame) mostly German/Austria-Hungry aircraft -even if built domesticly, while the Confeds would have British/French planes for 'WW2', since all the aircraft manufactures are in the North (Feds), Curtis, Boeing, Douglas, NorthAmerican, Lockheed. Possibly even (early war) some domestic clones of Bf-109s; until the aircraft industry gets up to speed on production of domestic designs. (assuming the Federal War Dept didn't support "local manufactures". I'd also make the assumption that the Confeds would be using (again) British/French designs --more leaning towards UK. One might assume early Hurris, Gladiators, Spits; for bombers I'd 'allow' Blenhiems, manchester, maybe even stirling and lancs It's been so many years since I read the last ones...i do remember something about the douglas and NAA plants in LA being mentioned; one can safely assume Havoc and Mitchells as well it's kinda fun!
  12. and the difficulty of renaming "Home Base" on the Range map to Nellis AFB is......????????????????? switch it out to a runway 4 and your set. A good terrain guy could even create "new" city tiles to match to 'desert' ones, and add Vegas Folks need to learn how to think outside the box
  13. too important to not have!! thanks sony!
  14. holding my breath, I am not, for KAW. We REALLY need to get back on track with that ... (note to self: fix 2 GA routes near Seoul) if done as decals (like all the TJets I've been doing) it's a simple matter to transfer them over
  15. that would be great, if true! but he has to finish the A-1H/J cockpit mods first!! (please??? )
  16. File Name: Republic F-84E Thunderjet by RussoUK, for SF2 File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 26 September 2011 File Category: F-84 Republic F-84E Thunderjet by RussoUK =For SF2, Any and All (Full-4 Merged Reccomended/Preferred,etc)= *Expansion Pak 1 may be necessary for WW2 era weapons, if not using the GunnyPak* Some modifications, tweeks, and general fiddlating on Russo's fine F-84E Thunderjet. Skins provided are: 36th FBW, USAFE circa 1952 when commanded by Col. Robert L. Scott (yes, that guy!) 49th FBG, FEAF/5th AF, Tageu, Korea circa 1951/53 -yes, the entire group, all 3 squadrons: 7th FBS (Blue/White) 8th FBS (Yellow/Black) 9th FBS (Red/White) All new, 100% historically correct serial and BuzzNumber decals have been created for all skins. It should be noted, that while those for the 36th FBW =ARE= for those aircraft from the 36th, I was unable to pin down exactly which squadron(s) in the Wing. Some of the 49th FBW skins have stars (*) in their number lists (7th & 8th FBS) next to the ID number, denoting those with 100% positive identification; excepting the 9th FBS, where =ALL= have been 100% positively IDed as serving in that squadron. Those without stars (*) served in the 49th, but not to my full satisfaction as to which squadron. Rest assured, if I say they're correct for The Wing, they are. Like the recently released F-84G, it has a new 'experimental' SF2-level flight model, uses the same Sabre drop tanks, and uses the same manual keyed animation (surprise! Shift/0) to open and close the canopy. It also uses the same sound file, not included. The same 'generic-style' hangar screen from the G is included as well. A userlist is included; it may need some adjustments as to other NATO/MAP users -which are welcomed! As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them!! As always, the usual "Notes" section for other interestering details and stuff. Good Hunting! wrench kevin stein Click here to download this file
  17. thank you! that looks better!! folks -- use that on ALL the skin (edit the textureset.ini)

File Name: F-84G Thunderjet, Imperial Iranian AF File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 27 September 2011 File Category: F-84 F-84G Thunderjet, Imperial Iranian Air Force =For SF2, Any and All (Full-4 Merged Reccomended/Preferred,etc)= A simple addition for the recently released F-84G Upgrade Pak. This skin represent all aircraft as used by the IIAF during the 1950s and 60s, until they were replaced by F-5As sometime around 1965ish. All new historical serial numbers for the 75 aircraft were created, depicting the 3 squadrons of the Wing that operated them from Mehrabad (like, how hard is it to do 3-01 thru 3-75???). Decal radomization is set to TRUE, so be at whatever patch level is requried (post May/June/whatever!) As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. 21. SoCal has Nellis, but it's "Occupied Territory" that looks more like the ASW map (Texas/Mexico)
  22. http://millionmonkeytheater.com/ForgottenJets.html for serials and 'call letters' (for lack of a better name)
  23. I was hoping!!! somebody would pick up the ball, and run with the BAF!!! AdA needs skins, too.... ps: is the finflash reversed in the last shot? EDIT: i forgot, we can now have 'nation specifc' loadouts ... so we can skirt around anyone but the USAF having nukes
