    how about wetting down the hood, and using a toilet plunger? It just might pop back depending on the year, there should be a paint code on a placard (used to be in the trunk). If not, a trip to the dealership for color matching, possible via the VIN, or they should know where the tag is wrench kevin stein

  6. You can't add the "physical" hook without rebuilding the model (ie: having the MAX file) But, otherwise it's 3 simple ini edits to add a 'virtual' hook. Many examples already exist (FJ-3M Fury comes right to mind, some of my Luftwaffe/Kriegsmarine WW2 What Ifs...) just have to figure out where you want it to (virtually) hang from. For position, I'd reccomend just aft of the belly light wrench kevin stein

  9. irfan dosen't create the alpha layer needed to "hold out" parts of the background. (think of the alpha as a matte, like used to be used on motion pictures, before CGI) You'd need PhotoShop or GIMP (gimp is a free d/l) you make gunsight tgas just like you would a decal wrench kevin stein

  16. it really dosen't matter with the "LimitedNations" statement ... all mine are merged =mind you, each DOES have it's own exe=, and it;s VERY cool not having region-inappropriate aircarft showing up (like Indian Fishbeds, and Chinese J-6s!! over the Canary Islands, or Southern California) I know of someone that experimentating with an all-in-one merged install that INCUDES WW2 aircraft. You just need UsersLists for each bird, the LimitedNations= statmenet in the terrain, and no worries! wrench kevin stein
  17. the strobing??? You could put 2 lights on the same spot, and white and a red, and have the white a fairly bright (0.35 - 0.55), CanFlash=TRUE, and give it a long delay time. Start at 2.0, and see what it look like //strobe// [TailLight2] SystemType=LIGHT Color=0.42,0.42,0.55 Position= 0.06,-5.63,1.03 LightSrcOffset= 0.07,0.07,0.0 Brightness=0.35 LightSrcRange=0.3 CanFlash=TRUE FlashTime=2.0 (these are postions off the mustang; obviously different for a mirage) worth experimentating with.   18. I am utterly AMAZED!!! This never worked before in 1st Gens ... just renamed the extracted Hunter 9 cockpit ini, to Vampire and Venom, adjusted each pilot positon to match the data ini, dropped in their folder and THEY WORK PERFECTLY!!! They're right were they should be (matching internal and external views). Unbelievable!! Some internal coding must have gotten changed. Works for the stock Vautour, using the Metor pit too. this is SUPERB!!! RIGHTEOUS!!!!! (you can tell, it makes me kinda happy!) wrench kevin stein

  22. did they have a RWR gauge? Cause you can convert a gauge mesh to create a working RWR screen (like the 2ndary ADI) I did that on the F100 and F104s. Not wholey historically accurate, but it works! wrench kevin stein
  23. drone Hun's would be nice too ... there should be a skin for it around here somewheres too. with the limited nations, as I understand it, should prevent standard/garden varitey MiGs from showing up (hopefully). Creating an unarmed aircraft, AI controlled that attacks you shouldn't be too hard wrench kevin stein
  24. and all the gauges/interiors are there? and the position is correct??? (meaning: your cockpit view to the wings matching the exteranl view's pilot position, in the relation to the wings) Hmm... I'll try to find time today to test this with the Hunter 9 pit (wait...does that exist in SF2I/Exp1??). Rebuilding Libya right now .... wrench kevin stein
