  1. File Name: Fw-190A8R2 Wurger JG300 skin & ini mods File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 2 Feb 2007 File Updated: 10 Feb 2007 File Category: Fw-190 Slight modification of the modification for the Fw-190A8R 'Wurger' originally created by Bob 'howling1' Hauser. This mod adds individual aircraft numbers, squadron badge, corrects running light positions, adds a new gunsight, and a weathered version of the original skin. Loadouts have also been 'tweeked' for more bombs on those pesky Jabo missions. A modified loadout ini has been included. Note: although the numbers are the correct Blockshirft font, I was too lazy to make the usual border. Enjoy it anyway :) Fully detailed, step-by-step instructions are in the enclosed read me -- so PLEASE read it! It'll make everyone's life easier!! With thanks to Wolf for releasing the PSD skin template (and the original aircraft as well). This mod is released with the full approval of howling1. If you do not have the Wurger yet, it is available here at CombatAce in the WW2 Aircraft section. Wrench Kevin Stein Click here to download this file

  11. Dosen't matter which version you're using (SF, WoV or WoE). Open your "Isreal 2_Types.ini" and scroll down till you find the following targets: TargetType80 , (Heizwerk). Add this to the bottom of the description: Effect=SmokeStackEffect EffectOffset=3.0.,0.50,35.25 TargetType90 (schornstein) smokestack 50 (meters in height?) Effect=SmokeStackEffect EffectOffset=0.0.,0.00,50.25 TargetType91 (schornstein2) smokestack 72 (meters n height?) Effect=SmokeStackEffect EffectOffset=0.0.,0.00,72.25 Still trying to figure out the name of the red painted factory/work hall., and the other factory. The other 'concrete' looking one should use the same as the 'heizewerk', but with the first number reversed. Once I figure out it's name, I'll try to dial in the smoke stack effect This is the BEST terrain so far...Gepard, you have my thanks and congratulations [although maybe a few vehicle depots would look nice :) ] Wrench Kevin Stein
  12. File Name: DH Venom Update File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 21 Jan 2007 File Updated: 2 Feb 2009 File Category: British Aircraft and Variants This pak updates the existing Venom FB Mk.4 to the latest patch standards. I've adjusted the decal positions, level numbers, and created a full pak of serial numbers. -- this is NOT a new skin; it re-uses the original bmps, just a tweek of the existing one. New damage tgas are also included. This pak also includes updated data and loadout inis to add the missing drop tanks. All weapons loads are UK nation specific, as per the latest weapons pak. -- you MUST have the latest Weapons Pak installed for use the the weapons listed. Also included is a mod of Kesselbrut's Spitfire cockpit, as this has a nice 'British' feel to it. Several of the gauges have been relabeled for jet use. Cockpit ini is included. (this cockpit is also used on my WW2 Vampire mod) -note: this pit is NOT 100% historically accurate, but is a 'best fit' for the aircraft. Gunsight mods have been included. PLEASE -- READ THE ENCLOSED README for full instructions and notes!!!! -- PLEASE!! Good Hunting & Happy Landings ! Wrench Kevin Stein Click here to download this file
  13. Thanks, but it's Kesselbrut's pit. He deserves ALL the credit. I just had the brainstorm to relable 2 gauges/switches, and use it for a stand-in early jet pit. And don't forget to thank Pakso, wherever he is, for the airplane itself I'm just "The Assembler" Wrench Kevin Stein
  14. Yummmy....more targets!!! Great looking birds guys! Wrench KevinStein
  15. WHAT!!! Oh hell!! I forgot to add it....double damn!! I'll get it updated, with the pit and re-uploaded ASAP. That's just me being stupid, for assembling it so late at night... Wrench Kevin Stein ps: you could use the spit pit, if the venom_cockpit ini is in the zip, but you won't hav the relabeled gauges or the new pin up picture pps: new version uploaded, with all the stuff

Vampire F Mk.III File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 21 Jan 2007 File Updated: 7 Feb 2008 File Category: Allied Fighters File Version: No Information Website: No Information For the "What If..." world of SWOTL2 WW2:1946 Mod of Pasko's Vampire FB 5 into an earlier F.3 version, had an improved version been rushed into production. A semi-complete aircraft mod, it contains nearly everything needed to fly. NOTE: there are NO lod files in this package -- you will be transfering them from the Vamp 5. I do not feel it is correct to include the aircraft model. This package contains all the inis, skin, decals and a new cockpit based off of Kesselbrut's Spitfire. Several of the gauges have been relabeled for jet usage. While not 100% accurate, it is a 'closest, best fit' for the bird. New damage tgas are also included. 19. They never had a display, but you can add an audo=only one super easy. note: if cetrain files are not to be found in the usual places, they'll need to be extracted from the objects.cat 1) copy/paste the rwr bmp from the F-4E (F-4E.RWR.bmp) into the Hun's /cockpit folder. 2) add these lines to the F-100D.ini: AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll AvionicsDataFilename=F-100D_AVIONICS.INI 3) copy the information below to a blank 'notepad': [TextureData] RWRTexture=cockpit\f-4e_rwr.bmp [RWR] Type=3_RING AirSearchTexture=RWRair1.tga AirTrackTexture=RWRair2.tga AirLockTexture=RWRair2.tga GroundSearchTexture=RWRground1.tga GroundTrackTexture=RWRground2.tga GroundLockTexture=RWRground2.tga SearchPosition=0.90 TrackPosition=0.55 LockPosition=0.15 SearchSize=0.075 TrackSize=0.075 LockSize=0.075 SearchFlash=FALSE TrackFlash=TRUE TrackFlashRate=0.2 LockFlash=TRUE LockFlashRate=0.1 TrackSound=RWRTrackSound.wav LockSound=RWRLockSound.wav [RWRTrackSound] Priority=HIGH 3DSound=FALSE Looped=TRUE NumBuffers=1 [RWRLockSound] Priority=HIGH 3DSound=FALSE Looped=TRUE NumBuffers=1 "save as.." F-100D_AVIONICS.INI and place in the Hun's main folder with the other inis. this will give you a working audio only rwr. btw, this is already done on my IDF F-100D mod available here at CA and at my site. If you wanted to break history, you'd need to find the exact node name for the clock in the cockpit.lod, and do a little editing in the Hun's cockpit ini. I would be similiar to the RWR fix for the Intruders, that's show over at C5s site. Wrench Kevin Stein

  21. It might be that you've 'run out of decals'. Meaning, these birds are 'after' the last number listed in your number.lst. Check on the loading screen before mission start, and open the aircraft number drop down and see where it's sitting on the list. I have most of the decal positions plotted in the AD-4 and BT2D mods I did. Take a look at those decal inis and see if there's anyting in there to help you. Also, don't forget the aircraft is mapped "one sided", ie everything is mirrored right/left and top/bottom. One way to open it up for more decals is paint the stars on the fuselage (makes things a tad easier) Wrench Kevin STein
  22. Those are definately mapped to Monty's A-1H. I checked them against my AD-4 skins, they're the same names and mapping. You might need to create a texture set ini based off the skin data in the read me's. I think that skin pak is pre-patch 3, so I might need one. Wrench Kevin Stein

  25. File Name: WW2 Damage Tgas File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 25 Dec 2006 File Category: SF WW2/Korea until 1959 Aircraft Skins This is the first of several packages aimed at giving many of the older WW2 birds some 'bullet holes' when they get hit. Included in this set are "_Holes.tga" for the following aircraft: -Dev A-Team Aircraft: Hurricane series Spitfire series (to Mk 8 & Seafire 1 & 3) Ju-88 series Ju-188 Beaufighter series Beaufort & Ki-48 'Lilly' SM-79 Bf-110 series Me-262 Me-262B Blenhiem series -Wolf257 Aircraft: Bf-109 (F & G models) F4U-1 Corsair (includes other variants) FW-190 Ki-27 Nate (version2) Ki-43 Oscar Ki-21 Sally, Ki-57 Topsy P-38 Lightning series P-39 Airacobra P-40B series P-47D-20 Thunderbolt (razorback) P-47D-25 Thunderbolt (bubble canopy) P-51A/B Mustang The only problem I forsee, is that Wolf's aircraft are not available for general usage anymore. If you have them, this set is for you. If not, you have my apologies. Also included is a repainted stock seat for pilot usage, and instruction on how to add it; complete with the data to be added to the aircrafts data ini. This is a fairly detailed readme -- SO READ IT!!! There are EXTREAMLY important details in there!!! Enjoy! Wrench Kevin Stein Click here to download this file
