  1. SF2 WW2 PTO F6F-5 Hellcat Skins Pak

    SF2 WW2 PTO F6F-5 Hellcat Skins Pak 9/10/2013

-- Something for the PTO players --

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

Some new skins for Geo's F6F Hellcat; in particular for the F6F-5 Mod I did of it.

If you don't already have it, You can find the aircraft at the following URL:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/13316-sf2-ww2-pto-f6f-hellcat-pak/

You'll also need to be sure you have the update pak installed as well (that adds a few interesting goodies), available at the following URL:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/13541-sf2-ww2-faa-f6f-5-hellcat-skin-and-ini-update-pak/

I've listed these in case there are newcomers, or old timers that haven't "caught up". This is simple and basic CYA.

Again, PLEASE NOTE!!! These skins are for Geo's Hellcat =ONLY=, NOT for the DAT ones.

Skin/Decal sets included in this pack are for...

    VF-7 "Lucky 7", USS Hancock
    VF-11 "Sundowners", USS Hornet
    VF-14 "Iron Angels", USS Wasp

All aircraft carry the correct "G" system markings for the time frame.
Decal randomization is set to TRUE for all. All are in the later "Dark Gloss Navy Blue" overall finish.

They depict late(ish) war schemes (Dark Gloss Navy Blue), in particularly in last quarter of 1944, and to war's end (ie: Battle of the Phillipine Sea, and Invasion of the Phillipines timeframe.)
Each skin uses the historical WW2 squadron patch as the paint chip, seen on the Loadout Screen.

A slightly tweeked data ini is also included, as I changed the pilot's position slightly to remove a clipping issue on the canopy rail. Make SURE you have the update pack listed above installed FIRST before appling this new data ini!!!

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.

  2. SF2 WW2 PTO Generic Menu Screens Pak

SF2 WW2 PTO "Generic" Menu Screens Pak

= For SF2, Any and All, PTO-Centric Based Mods Folders

This is just a simple pak of Menu Screens for use in Pacific Theatre based mods folders. These will
replace a11 of the stock ones, while keeping the same layout for all the clickable hot-spots. (as
the templates I made to make them, keep all the same setups.

    You get:

    Loadingscreen
    Debriefscreen
    LoadoutScreen
    Mainscreen
    MedalListScreen
    OptionsScreen
    PilotRecordsScreen
    PlanningMapScreen
    RosterScreen
    SingleMissionScreen.

All are in jpg format, and are already divided into the 2 folders where they'll reside (/Flight and
/Menu) for simple drag/drop into your Mod Folder ™.

Also included are WW2-themed in-game map icons from 1stGen WW2 mods, that change the 'jet' shapes to prop planes. I can't find any info on who made them, so I canNOT any take credit for something
that isn't mine. These are usable in any WW2 Era install.

As always, easy to follow instuctions are in the 'To Install' section.

    Enjoy

  3. SF2 WW2 PTO Hawk 75A-C7, ML-KNIL

    Hawk 75A-C7, ML-KNIL

    =for SF2, (Full4/5 merged reccomended)

    -Something for the PTO players*-

*even if we don't have an NEI map; at least you'll have the aircraft.*

This is a revamp for SF2, a modification of Wolf257's P-36/Mohawk into the Hawk 75 export version, as used by several Allied nations
    .
It represents aircraft from the ML-KNIL during the opening days of the War in the Pacific, in the defense of the Netherlands East Indies (Java and Sumatra, for those that don't know)

This creates a country specific version for use in your World War 2: PTO installs ONLY!! As such, all the loadout have been adjusted to fit KLU aircraft of the time. The 'fake pilot method" (patentpending) is used to add the 2 underwing pylons for light bombs (either RAF50 or US 100 pounders)

This is the complete aircraft; serial numbers are historically correct, but I could not determine which squadron used what number; consider them generic in this respect. A new cockpit (one of Stary's WW2 pits) replaces the original, as the gauge needles have disappeared due to a material issue. This cockpit MAY be more historicaly correct; French Hawk75s used a reflector gunsight -so perhaps they were also used on other export versions.

I've also adjusted the operational service years/dates; they historically were all destroyed by February, 1942; in the 1stGen version we couldn't have the mm/dd/yyyy but now in SF2 we can have them end on the 28th of Feburary.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Remember -- these are very old models, so they "are as they is". All original readmes, when discoverable, are included.

  5. SF2 WW2 PTO Ki-27 Nate Pak

    SF2 WW2 Ki-27 "Nate"

-- Something for the PTO players --
    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a distinct possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment.*

This is a compilation of all my work, and anyone elses I could find, for Wolf's K-27 Nate IJAAF fighter. It is designed to replace ALL the previously released versions. So, be advised.

This pak comprises the complete aircraft, with several skins from differing time frames of WW2. Most are for those units based in China, Indo-China/Malaysia and Burma regions, with one I've been able to ID as being used in Japan in the last days of the war. Skins are by myself and Jeff "pcpilot" Gerald.

It has semi-compliant (VERY! semi!) SF2 Flight Models, but they REALLLLLLY do need further fine tuning by experts (meaning: it turns on a dime, and gives back 9.5 cents change).
All skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization (for those with ID numbers) is set to TRUE. the 77 Sentai skins use decals for the Chutai markings. I've tried, as best as possible, to use the 'StartDefaultDate' on all skins to limit the availability for pre-War markings from those that came into being post-American entry into WW2. 2 of these skins are Sentai that operated in Manchuria against the Soviets in the Late 1930s.

A new SF2 version of the old 'box art' Hangar Screen is included.
Sounds are included (which you prolly have anyway, along with the bombs and drop tanks.) A new glass tga finally allows the aircraft to have visible windows.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
All readmes from the original releases, and re-releases, are included where discoverable from the archives.

This will give the AVG guys something to go up against -- 77 Sentai was one of their main antagonists.
Also included is my HomeGrown Template ™. It too, could use some enhancing.
Remember folks, the physical model is very old; "it is as it is", and any flaws/faults cannot be fixed without the unavailable MAX files.

  6. SF2 WW2 PTO Ki-43 Oscar by ArmorDave

    SF2 WW2 PTO Ki-43 Oscar by ArmorDave

-- Something for the PTO players --

*There is a distinct possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment.*

This is an SF2 version of my 1stGen "AD Oscar Update Pak". I'd forgotten to upload it (what with all the personal computer drama lately...and still ongoing...) so here it is now.

Unlike the original SF/Wo* pak, I've created all 3 skins for the 11 Sentai; each of the 3 Chutai are represented by different color lightning bolt on the tail.
The other skin included is 1 Sentai, 3 Chutai, iirc, from the CBI region.

All skins are jpg, and as these Sentai used no individual aircraft numbers, the only marking are the tail decals (for 11 Sentai)

As expected, it has a semi-compliant SF2 Flight Models, but they do need further fine tuning by experts.
To diferentiate it from the Wolf Oscar, in-game you'll see the displayed name:

    Ki-43-Ia "Oscar" (AD)

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Remember -- these are very old models, so they "are as they is". All original readmes, when discoverable, are included.

  7. SF2 WW2 PTO Mitsubishi G3M Nell Pak

    SF2 WW2 PTO Mitsubishi G3M Nell Pak by Veltro2K

-- Something for the PTO players --
    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (ONLY!!!) =

*** Important Note: due to the use of SF2NA coding for the Naval Strike (aka 'Cruise Missle') usage, you MUST have built you PTO mods folder from the SF2NA exe. The torpedo supplied herein is set as a short range cruise missile, and will ABSOLUTELY NOT work in 1stGens at any patch level, and may not work properly in SF2 game installs withOUT SF2NA in the merged core files. Also, the use of 'open cockpit' and other statements in various inis preclude it use in SF/Wo* 1stGen games. Also, having SF2I Expansion Pak 1 is a must, as the destroyed model referenced herein uses the C-47A destroyed model. If you do NOT have SF2I Exp1, you'll have to find another desetroyed lod to reference.***

    A re-release of Veltro's G3M "Nell" IJN attack bomber. Inside you'll find...

The original skin, overall green/light green-blue unders that I've tentativly identified as the Mihoro Naval Air Corps (later redesignated 701 Kokutai).
A NEW "quick and dirty" one by me, representing Chitose NAC (later 703 Kokutai), with 18 new 'plane-in-group/serial decals. It's also the green/blue-grey.

The skins are in jpg format, the orignal decals (17) are resued on the Mihoro/701 skin, and 18 new decal were created for the Chitose/701 skin.Decal Randomization is set to TRUE. All IJAAF/IJN weapons (bombs), including the NA-style semi-experimental 'cruise missle' torpedo. Pilot figures, and a 'new' engine sound from the AvHistory sounds set. Both the Hangar and Loading screens are brand new for this reissue.

To reduce the chance of conflicts with any other Nells you may (or may not) have, everthing is refered to by the 'v2k' suffix. So, when in game, you'll see

    G3M2 Model 22 "Nell" (V2K)

on the aircraft selection dropdown menu.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for the change list, and other important notations. Also, the Legal Statement has been changed with regards to this aircraft.
For those that still have the original release, it's advised you delete the aircraft and decals folders for them; this pak is desinged to replace them in total.

**The aircraft herein are released in "AS IS" Condition. The source files have been lost, and there can and WILL be no modifications to the physical model. It 'are as it is' and you must accept them with this caveat in mind. Any and all issues/problems that cannot be solved via ini edits will exist forever, as new models are unlikely to be created.**

*There is a distinct possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment.*

Mods/reskins/redecaling for Wolf257's P-38F aircaft. This pak replaces my SF/Wo* 1stGen 'generic' PTO P-38F. It is designed to represent P-38F/G model Lightnings as seen in the SoWesPac Theatre, in particular the Solomons Islands.

The aircraft carries the markings of the 339th FS, 347th FG as seen in late 1942 through late 43. This is pretty representative of all early Lightings in theatre at this time frame.

This is the full aircraft, and is complete with everything needed (except bombs & guns; you should have these already).
The skin is in jpg format (now! with rivets!), Decal Randomization is TRUE. Damage textures are DDS format.

    When In Game, you'll see

    P-38F Lightning (W)

The (W) indicates this as a Wolf257 aircraft, and will differentiate it from any other P-38Fs you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them.

*There is a distinct possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment.*

Mods/reskins/redecaling for Wolf257's WW2 aircaft. This package contains 2 complete aircraft, broken down by aircraft and skins:

    P-39D
36th FS, 8th FG in early 1942 ("meatball" star)
    39th FS, 35th FG, mid-1942
41st FS, 35th FG, late-1943 (star & bar, white tail)

    P-400
39th FS, 35th FS, early 1942 (RAF camo & serials)

All skins are in jpg format, and are brand new builds for this mod. Decal Randomization is TRUE. .
Due to both aircraft sharing the same lod, all skins are fully interchangable with each other.
A new cockpit, Stary's 'Midwar #3' replaces both the modded Hurri pit I'd been using, and the original Wolf pits.
Both new SF2 versions of the original 'box art' hangar screen. Damage textures are the old tga ones.

Both have semi-compliant SF2 Flight Models, but they do need further fine tuning by experts (it's actually TOO good!). All lighting is 100% historically correct.

  12. SF2 WW2 PTO P-400 Airacobra (Export) Pak by Veltro2k

    SF2 WW2 PTO P-400 Airacobra (Export) Pak by Veltro2k 5/25/2014

*There is a distinct possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due various and sundry reasons*

This is a mod of Veltro2k's Bell P-39D Airacobra, in to the export version, called P-400 in USAAF service. This aircraft is designed to either replace or compliment the SF2 versions I did for Wolf257's Airacobra. It's the End Users choice if you with to delete the old versions, or keep them.

Both skins are in the "RAF style" camo pattern. Skins included are:

39th FS, 35th FS, early 1942 (New Guinea)
    67th FS, 58th FG Mid/Late 1942 (Guadalcanal)

The above are units that were used in the SouthWestPacific region, specifically Australia & New Guinea (39th), and The Solomons (Guadalcanal, 67th). The skins also use the "StartDate" switch, so as to turn on at the (almost) appropriate time.
Serial numbers (RAF issued) are 100% historicaly correct for this aircraft, but should be considered 'generic' in nature, as they represent no particular aircraft within these specific units.
All skins are in jpg format. Decal Randomization is TRUE.
An SF2 version of the original 'box art' hangar screen are included. Damage textures are in DDS format.
Sounds and a pilot figure are included. All the other items (bombs, drop tank, guns, etc) you should have already.
All lighting is 100% historically correct.

    When in game, you'll see:

    P-400 Airacobra (v2k)

Displayed on the Aicraft Selection Dropdown menu. This will diferentiate it from the Wolf257 version.

  13. SF2 WW2 PTO P-40B/C Tomahawk (USAAC) Pack

    SF2 WW2 PTO P-40B/C Tomahawk (USAAC) Pack 5/01/2015

-- Something for the WW2 PTO players --

    = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: this mod is most likely =NOT= usable in 1stGen installs at any patch level. This may be due to the use of a 'late model' cockpit.*

**Notex2: this mod is designed for use ONLY in a PTO-Centric mods folder**

This package contains a SF2 version of Raven's P-40B/C Tomahawk, in use by the USAAC just before, and during, the opening months of The Pacific War. While considered a 'beta', the aircraft is 100% all there. As I understood it, the beta tag is ONLY because the cockpit was never finished. In that light, I've substituted one of Stary's Generic Cockpits ™.

    The skins included are:

47th PS, 15th PG, Bellows Field, Hawaii, December 1941 "Pearl Harbor Defender"
    20th PS, 24th PG, Phillipines, December 1941
DOD41 - representative of aircraft from August to November 1941

Skins maps remain in their bmp format. The SF2 'date switch' is NOT used on any of these skins.
All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. The Hangar screen is a revamped Sf2 version of my original "AvArt". All sounds, drop tank and pilot figure are included. Guns are not, as they're stock items. Service dates are rounded to "whole months". The canopy operates with the Standard Animation Keystroke, Shift/0. Be advised, this aircraft has a short service life, as the E models were already in service when the US entered the war.

    When in-game, you'll see

    P-40B/C Tomahawk (Raven)

On the aircraft selection drop-down. This will diferentiate it from Wolf's P-40B/C mod. In fact, =THIS= mod is designed to replace, completely, any and all earlier versions.

squadrons in the South West Pacific (SWP) -northern Australia, New Guinea- region from
approximately April 1942 onwards. And a "interesting" skin, as I hate wasting decals
    (grin).

    In this pack you'll get:

    7th FS, 49th FG -Bunyaps (OD/Grey)
8th FS, 49th FG -Black Sheep (Green/Tan/Grey camo)
    9th FS, 49th FG -Iron Knights (OD/Grey)

    and...

The Flying Legion (OD/Grey) - somewhat of a "What If..." skin from the motion picture "Sky
Captain and the World of Tommorrow. You may keep it, or delete as you desire. I won't be
    insulted or hurt; I promise!!

Skins remain in their bmp format.
New DDS damage textures (usable on all Raven's Warhawk/Kittyhawk in SF2 only) are
    included!
New aircraft plane-in-group number decals, in correct sequencing for the 3 Real Life ™
squadron are included. Decal randomization is TRUE for all skins. There are no nose arts.
The squadron patch is used for the 7th, 8th and 9th FS. Also, via the use of my (patent
pending) fake SqTail decal, the squadron name display is now active on the Loadout Screen.
My modified Loadout ini is also included. As is an SF2 Version of the drop tank (for those
    that haven't converted it yet).
The skins have been run through the template (thank you Raven for that!), and have had a
layer of dirt, stains and 'clouds' added for weathering.

A rebuilt version of my "Box Art" style Hangar screen, USAAF PTO specific (in SF2 jpg
    format) is included.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE
read them BEFORE installing this pack!!!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for other stuff
    that might be interesting.

  15. SF2 WW2 PTO P-40N, USAAF (SWPA) Skinpak

    SF2 WW2 PTO P-40N, USAAF (SWPA) Skinpak 9/14/2013

-- Something for the WW2 PTO players --

    = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: this pak MAY be usable in 1stGen SF/Wo* game installs. However, some features
(decal randomization, DDS damge textures, destroyed model, etc) will be NOT
functional. Use in 1stGens has not, and cannot be, tested by me.*

**Notex2: this mod is designed for use ONLY in a PTO-Centric mods folder**

A new skin for Raven's P-40N, a "generic" representation of USAAF P-40Ns in SoWesPac
Theatre (read: New Guinea). Although the "Displayed Name" on the Loadout Screen will
say "7th FS, 49th FG" (the Bunyaps), they are to be considered a bit more generic than
Squadron Specific. Even though the individual plane-in-group numbers fits those of the
    7th's usage.

Skins remain in their bmp format.
New DDS damage textures (usable on all Raven's Warhawk/Kittyhawk in SF2 only) are
    included.
A slightly modified data ini, with some flight model tweeks, and switching to the
AvHistory engine sound. So, be prepared to back up some inis for saftey!!! A new
textureset ini for the "Bare Metal" skin is included, that adds Decal Randomization
for SF2. A new userlist ini was created, for the Export Customers.
All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. Also, via the use of my
(patent pending) Fake SqTail decal, the squadron name display is now active on the
    Loadout Screen.

No weapons are included, except SF2 Versions of the new drop tanks (for those that
haven't converted them yet). New theatre-specific Hangar and Loading screens are
    included, too.

The skins have been run through the template (thank you Raven for that!), and have had
a layer of dirt and 'clouds' added for weathering. They're still not dirty enough for
    my taste, but it's something!!

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included.
    PLEASE read them!!

  16. SF2 WW2 PTO P-47N, Ini, Skin/Decal Update Pak

    SF2 WW2 PTO P-47N, Ini, Skin/Decal Update Pak 10/28/2014

-- Something for the WW2 PTO players --

    = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

**Note: this mod is to be applied to Russ's "P-47N V.2 Final Pak", available at the following URL:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/13202-p-47n-157z/

If you don't have, you should get it!!**

These skins are for WW2 PTO use ONLY! The represent P-47Ns as seen in the last months of the war.
Revamped/Updated skins and decals included are:

    19th FS
    333rd FS
464th FS (replaces the MeatChopper skin & decal folders)
463rd FS (now with some nose arts)

Included as well are revamped loadout and data inis. The data ini contains a slightly refined FM, but is not 100% perfect (although MUCH better than before!), and may need further tweeking by experts. The loadout ini fixes a missed station. A backup copy of the original data ini is included, so you don't need to back up your original.
You also get a NEW box-art style loading screen.

New plane-in-squadron ID numbers, and serials number decals (where used) were created for those using them. The PIS numbers follow the correct sequencing. The serials, while correct for the mark, should be considered 'generic' in nature, as they represent no particular aircraft with the squadrons depicted. Decal randomization is TRUE.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!
To eliminate confusion, You'll be renaming, moving or deleting some folder, as these will replace them. So, before installing, unzip this archive and read the Install Instructions.

**Note: This mod references the stock destroyed Il-28. Also, due to modifications to various inis, this mod will probably -NOT- work in 1stGen game installs at any patch level. This has not/cannot be tested by me.**

This is a NEW, 'nationalized' version of Veltro2k's B-25D, as used by the US Marine Corp as the PBJ-1D in the PTO.
There are 1 skin/decals set(s) in the package:

VMB-413, as seen in the Solomons and SoWesPac from 1944-war's end

The skin is in jpg format,
The BuNums (serials) ARE 100% historically accurate for this squadron's Mitchells.
All markings are decals. All lighting is historically correct. Damage textures are in DDS format.
Engine sounds, pilot figures, new 'strap on' gun packs, are included. Operational service dates are rounded to 'whole months', and ARE relatively correct for SWP theatre usage.

    When in game, you'll see

    PBJ-1D Mitchell (v2k)

on the Aircraft Selection Drop down menu. This will differentiate it from any other Marine Mitchells you may (or may not) have.

    SF2 WW2 PTO PBJ-1H Mitchell (USMC) "Gunship" Pak by Veltro2K 7/20/2014

**Note: This mod references the stock destroyed Il-28. Also, due to modifications to various inis, this mod will probably -NOT- work in 1stGen game installs at any patch level. This has not/cannot be tested by me. Also, some SF2NA 'mission tasking' has been added, so SF2NA is pretty much a requirement.**

This is a "Theatre/Service Specific" release of Veltro2K's =NEW= B-25H Mitchell Medium Bomber. This represents those as used by the US Marines, as the PBJ-1H. This package WILL replace any other PBJ-1H mods you may (or may not) have. If you DO have the version I did based on the DAT's B-25H, you are advised to DELETE it, and it's associated decals folder completly. This =WILL= replace that one totally.

There are 1 skin/decals set(s) in the package:

    VMB-613

as used in the Central Pacific (Marshalls, Gilberts -which, unfortunately, we don't have a map for with ground bases..!- I'll put it on the 'to do' list) in 1944 thru the War's End. VMB-613 was the ONLY USMC squadron to be equipped totally with the H model Mitchell with the 75mm gun.

The skin is in jpg format,
All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. There ARE nose arts (ie: names), and all BuNums have been matched to their aircraft Modex number. As seen on the numberlst, those marked with a star (*) are 100% correctly matched to BuNum/Modex/Nose Art. Those named/displayed withOUT the star, could not be matched to their Modex/BuNum.

Included are Engine sounds, pilot figures, and a new Hangar screen. Operational service dates are rounded to 'whole months', and ARE relatively correct for in-theatre usage.
The 75mm gun is included; all other weapons you should have already. Also, provisions for mounting rockets, and the rockets themselves are included. The torpedo station remains active, although research has not turned up any squadrons using them operationally.
The guns have been grouped as follows:

    GunGroup=1 -- machine guns
    GunGroup=2 -- the Cannon

So, have keys set up accordingly

    When in game, you'll see:

    PBJ-1H Mitchell (v2k)

on the Aircraft Selection Drop down menu. This will differentiate it from any other Marine Mitchells you may (or may not) have.

On the individiual aircraft (plane-in-squadron) letter lising, those marked with a star (*) have their serial numbers matched to their aircraft letters. **Notex2: this mod is designed for use ONLY in a PTO-Centric mods folder**

A first, I was just going to do a simple skin/decals pack. But with all the "modifications" made to fit (better) into SF2, in particular the 5/2013 patch level (oi!), chose to take the "lazy man's way out" and just upload the entire aircraft.

When in-game, on the aircraft selection drop-down, you'll see

    Kittyhawk Mk.1A (Raven)

This will diferentiate this for any other Kittyhawks you may (or may not) have.
This is the full aircraft, "nationalized" for Australian use, as stated above, with my 'tweeked' sf2-ish data ini (and a backuped copy of the original too!). The skin included is for...

    No.75 Squadron, RAAF

as seen from mid/late April 1942 in the Port Moresby, PNG area

Skins remain in their bmp format.
New DDS damage textures (usable on all Raven's Warhawk/Kittyhawk in SF2 only) are included!
New aircraft plane-in-group letter decals, and RAAF serials - 95% historically accurate - matched to the individual letter, are included. On the numberlist, those marked with a star (*) have been postively confirmed to have served in 75 Squadron.

All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. There are no nose arts. Also, via the use of my (patent pending) fake SqTail decal, the squadron name display is now active on the Loadout Screen.
No weapons are included, except an SF2 Version of the drop tank (for those that haven't converted it yet). New theatre-specific Hangar and Loading screens are included, too.

The skins have been run through the template (thank you Raven for that!), and have had a layer of dirt and 'clouds' added for weathering.

  22. SF2 WW2 PTO Republic P-47D "Bubbletop" Thunderbolt (0.5 Beta)

    SF2 WW2 PTO Republic P-47D "Bubbletop" Thunderbolt (0.5 Beta) 12/15/2014

    = For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged RECCOMENDED!)

*This mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. It was built for SF2 ONLY!!.*

This is a BRAND NEW aircraft, brought to you by Cocas Aircraft Factory & Co.
We are calling this "version 0.5 beta", as there are a few minor issues with the LOD, and these will repaired as Real Life ™ allows. But, we wanted to get them out into the hands of our WW2 End Users ™ for their examinations and so forth. See Notes below for a more detailed explaination.

REMINDER: this pack contains PTO Bubbletop Jugs =ONLY= !!! Other theatres/users will follow as time permits, and as they are completed.

This pak contains, as stated above, a NEW aircraft, representing the Bubbletop P-47D (-25 thru -30-ish) Thunderbolt as seen in 1944 through war's end.

    Skin(s) included are:

41st FS, 35th FG (circa late 1944, Philippines)

All markings are decals, excepting the 41st's nose marking (which is painted on, as are the rudder stripes). Decal randomization is set to TRUE.
Damage textures are also new, in DDS format.
I'm trying out a 'new style' of hangar screen, so I hope you like it.
The canopy opens/closes with the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0
Pilots, sounds, weapons are all included.

As there are several P-74D Bubbletops available, when in game you'll see:

    P-47D-25 Thunderbolt (CAF)

on the aircraft selection dropdown menu. This will diferentiate it from any others that you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, as usual, give the "Notes" section a read, too.

  23. SF2 WW2 PTO Republic P-47D "Razorback" Thunderbolt by Cocas

SF2 WW2 PTO Republic P-47D "Razorback" Thunderbolt by Cocas 12/24/2014

    = For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged RECCOMENDED!)

*This mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. It was built for SF2 ONLY!!.*

This is a BRAND NEW aircraft, brought to you by Cocas Aircraft Factory & Co.
We are calling this "version 0.9", as there exists the possibility of more work being required. But, we wanted to get them out into the hands of our WW2 End Users ™ for their examinations and so forth.

**REMINDER: this pack is for PTO Razorback Jugs -only-!!! And by PTO, this means SoWesPac, NOT CBI, not the Solomons, etc!!! This would include New Guinea, points north and west, and obviously the Philipines. Other theatres will follow as they are completed.**

This pak contains 2 complete aircraft, representing the Razorback P-47D-2/D-10 in early/mid 1943, and the later D-15 thru D-20 Razorback Thunderbolt as seen in late 1943 (November-ish) through (nearly the) war's end, in the SoWesPac regions of the PTO (read: 5th AF).

    Skin(s) included are:

    P-47D-5 (early model):
    340th FS, 348th FG (SWP, mid-1943 scheme w/star-and-ball)

    P-47D-20 (later model):
    340th FS, 348th FG (SWP, late 43/early 44 w/star-and-bar)
    310th FS, 58th FG, (SWP/New Guinea region, late 43/early 44)

All markings are decals, and Decal randomization is TRUE.
The aircraft is finished in standard 0D/Grey, with Southwest Pacfic markings.
Please note, SWP Theatre, Squadron and/or Group specific markings -ARE- painted on.
The serials herein should be considered "generic" in nature, but ARE for the correct model variant. For the most part, there are NO nose arts, with the exception of a few for the 340th, "borrowed" from Major Lee's 348th FG skin set.

All the 1stGen Hangar and/or Loading screens were either rebuilt to SF2-spec, or created new for this package. They are in jpg format, and fit SF2 styling. Damage textures are also new, in DDS format.
The canopy opens/closes with the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0
Pilots, sounds, weapons are all included.
Templates for this aircraft will be issued as a seperate release, for those skinners that wish to do other units/theatres.

As there are several P-74D Razorbacks available, when in game you'll see:

    P-47D-5 Thunderbolt (CAF)(Mid 43)
    P-47D-20 Thunderbolt (CAF)

on the aircraft selection dropdown menu. This will diferentiate it from any others that are around (Wolf or DAT).
For those with the SWP/PTO Razorback mods I've done for Wolf's P-47, this mod is designed to compliment, NOT replace it. However... it's your choice to keep them or not.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, as usual, PLEASE!! give the "Notes" section a read, too.

This model seems to be either the Ki-44-Ib, Ic or IIB, as it carries the 4 12.7mm machine guns. I chose to call it the "Ic".
Skins within the pack are the originals from Geo's 1stGen release. They are (as bes as I can ID them):

    23 Sentai
    29 Sentai (PI)
    47 Sentai
    50 Sentai, 1 Chutai (CBI)
    85 Sentai (CBI -china mostly)

23 & 47 both carry the 'white bandage' marking that usually denote Home Islands Defense, but some units around Pelambang, NEI also carried them.

New (semi)compliant SF2 FM was cobbled together. As has become expected, the FM is NOT perfect, and needs further fine-tuning by Experts. A New SF2 style "box art" hangar screen, Geo's original 2 loading screens, converted to jpg, so you can switch to whichever one you like better. Weapons (drop tanks and bombs), guns, a pilot figure and engine sounds are included. All skins remain in their original bmp format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE (for the few number decals we have). As is usual, all lighting is 100% historically correct.
The canopy has been switched to the Standard Animation Keystroke, Shift/0.
Damage textures are new, in DDS format.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. All original readmes are included for historical purposes (when discoverable from the archives)
