  1. SF2 RCN Hawker Seafury Skin Pack

SF2 RCN Hawker Seafury Skin Pack 4/6/2015

*For SF2 -ONLY-!! Full-5 Merged Reccomended*

This package contains a skin for the recently released (skippybing) Hawker Seafury. You can find the base aircraft at the following URL (and you'll need it to add these skins to):

    http://combatace.com/files/file/15390-sf2-kaw-hawker-sea-fury-sb-pack/

    Reminder: this is =ONLY= a skin/decal pak!

These 2 skins represent Royal Canadian Navy Seafurys in the 1950s. Both are finished in the "2-tone Grey".
You have skins for the following squadrons:

    803 NAS, crica 1951
    870 NAs (aka VF-870) circa 1953

The SF2 'date switch' is active, so VF-870 will turn on in 1953.
All markings, execpting the fin flash, are decals (due to running out of meshes). Decal randomization is TRUE for both skins.
Also included, from eburger's SF2NA Ulitmate CV Pack, are slightly modified versions of the HMCS Bonaventure & Magnificent. See "Notes" for change log.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them after Unzipping but =BEFORE= installing!! Also, as usual, give the "Notes and Comments" section a read, too.

    Happy Landings!!

  2. F-15E, 492nd TFS skin & decal pak

F-15E Strike Eagle, 492nd TFS 48th FW, Lakenheath
=For SF2, Any and All (may even work in 1stGens)

A simple repaint of the original decals create the 'blue' stipe tail markings for the 492nd of the 48th FW.

This'll add another squadron for use however you see fit.

While designed with the plane-jane Mud Hun in mind, these can also be used on the F-15E_04 with little or no editing (just let the decals ini work as it's designed)

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them!!

  3. SF2 F-15A Eagle, (3W) Hawaii Air National Guard Skin Pack

SF2 F-15A Eagle, Hawaii Air National Guard Skin Pack    5/19/2020
    = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Preferred) =
*You must have the STOCK F-15A in you hanger to make use of this mod!!*
This is a reskinning of the stock (3rd Wire) F-15A Eagle as used by the 199th TFS, 154 TFW of the Hawaiian Air National Gurad from 1987 to 2010, when they were replaced by F-22 Raptors. (It should be noted, F-15Cs were also used, alongside their older siblings).
This mod uses the stock skin, with various decals. All markings are decals, especially the squadron and nose zaps. I was unable to run down historical serial numbers, so 26 stock 3W decals are (re) used. Decal randomization is TRUE.
When in-game, on the "select skin" drop down, you'll see:
    199th TFS, HI ANG (87-09)
This will assist you in selecting the skin.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... they can be accessed after unzippering. Please follow the 'usual instructions'
    Happy Landing!

  4. AT-6B Texan COIN, Iraqi AF (Skin & Ini Tweeks)

    AT-6B Texan COIN, Iraqi AF
    =For SF2, Any and All (but Full-4 Merged Prefered/Reccomended)

A new skin and decals, some data, loadout and weapons mods for Dels and FastCargo's AT-6B Texan COIN version. The aircraft is available here:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/9849-at-6b-for-sf2-version-15/

This mod is designed to be applied =OVER= the existing AT-6B in your game(s) install.
This is NOT the full aircraft; just a package of inis, the new skin and decals.

The new skin is for the reformed Iraqi Air Force, circa 2010 and later, with some Real Life ™ and extrapolated serial numbers in the new style, along with the new fin flash/national insignia (locations are educated guesswork based upon other aircraft's placement). Data ini edits are very small; mostly to reset the cockpit position to remove the 'double cockpit'. Everything else is pretty much the same.

A new weapon, the FIM-92 Stinger for self-defense has been created, so as not to conflict with those used on the MANPADS versions (this had been an issue). The avionics ini has been updated to use the generic "RWR.lst" by dtmdragon.

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them!!

Important: it should be noted here, that the userlist supplied covers operators of =BOTH= the T-6 trainer and AT-6 COIN. It should also be noted, that I've made the assumption (oh! that word!!) of the T-6 and the AT-6 being interchangable for Iraqi use for training and 'internal security'.

    Happy Landings!

  5. SF2 WW2 MTO Kittyhawk IA, 112 Squadron

    SF2 WW2 MTO Kittyhawk IA, 112 Squadron

-- Something for the WW2 MTO players --

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a distinct probabality that this mod =WILL= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs.
After all, it's just a skin and decals!! However, the decal radomization will not be
functional in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs*

A fairly simple redecaling for Raven's Kittyhawk Mk.IA as flown with 112 Squadron in Egypt
and the Western Desert. In fact, other than the skins getting a light coating of dirt and
smoke, it's still Raven's original skin. This will add the Squadron Code, plane-in-group
letters and serial number decals to his original skin. It just overwrites the decals and
texture set ini (although the skin map will also overwrite, too. don't worry about that!)

This skin is still in bmp format, so it's usable in SF/Wo*. Decal randomization is TRUE.
All the markings are decals, which (serials, plane-in-group letters) are reused from
    another Kittyhawk skins set.
Also included, is a NEW loading screen from my AvArt collection

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So,
    please =READ= them.

With Thanks To Raven for the bird!

  6. SF2 WW2 PTO P-40E Skin Pak

    SF2 WW2 PTO P-40E Skin Pak

-- Something for the WW2 PTO players --

    = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: this pak MAY be usable in 1stGen SF/Wo* game installs. However, some features
(decal randomization, dds damage textures) will =NOT= be functional. Use in 1stGens has
not, and cannot be, tested by me.*

Some reskins for Raven's recently Released P-40E Warhawk. These skins represent USAAF
squadrons in the South West Pacific (SWP) -northern Australia, New Guinea- region from
approximately April 1942 onwards. And a "interesting" skin, as I hate wasting decals
    (grin).

    In this pack you'll get:

    7th FS, 49th FG -Bunyaps (OD/Grey)
8th FS, 49th FG -Black Sheep (Green/Tan/Grey camo)
    9th FS, 49th FG -Iron Knights (OD/Grey)

    and...

The Flying Legion (OD/Grey) - somewhat of a "What If..." skin from the motion picture "Sky
Captain and the World of Tommorrow. You may keep it, or delete as you desire. I won't be
    insulted or hurt; I promise!!

Skins remain in their bmp format.
New DDS damage textures (usable on all Raven's Warhawk/Kittyhawk in SF2 only) are
    included!
New aircraft plane-in-group number decals, in correct sequencing for the 3 Real Life ™
squadron are included. Decal randomization is TRUE for all skins. There are no nose arts.
The squadron patch is used for the 7th, 8th and 9th FS. Also, via the use of my (patent
pending) fake SqTail decal, the squadron name display is now active on the Loadout Screen.
My modified Loadout ini is also included. As is an SF2 Version of the drop tank (for those
    that haven't converted it yet).
The skins have been run through the template (thank you Raven for that!), and have had a
layer of dirt, stains and 'clouds' added for weathering.

A rebuilt version of my "Box Art" style Hangar screen, USAAF PTO specific (in SF2 jpg
    format) is included.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE
read them BEFORE installing this pack!!!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for other stuff
    that might be interesting.

A simple redecaling for Raven's P-40N20-CU, represents the 74th FS, 23rd FG "Flying Tigers" in late 1943-through the war's end (or, in reality, when they got replaced by Mustangs in late 44).

Some mods, tweeks, and 2 new skin/decal sets for Raven's P-40K-5-CU Warhawk, is seen in

    74th Fighter Squadron, in late 42 (star-and-ball)

    75th Fighter Squadron, in late 43 (star-and-bar)

The squadron patch (ww2 versions!) will be seen as the paint chip for each skin on the

    Data
    Loadout
    Userlist

The data ini makes use of my "kit-bashed" FM, that while (semi) SF2-compliant, still
needs fine tuning by an Expert. At least now, it won't mush into the ground and explode.
You are advised to back up your original inis, and full instructions are in the "To
    Install" section.
The DF Loop antenna has been added via the 'fake pilot' method
Canopy Opens/Closes via the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0.

-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --
    = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

This skin should have been in with the recently released ETO Bubbletop Jug pak (for Wolf's Jug), but I'd forgotten that I'd moved it to a storage folder. As I had to reskin it and make some new decals to replace Major Lee's originals (sorry Ken!!), here it is! It sorta 'fell through the cracks', and I apologize!

This pack contain the skin/decal set for the

53rd FS, 36th FG, 9th AF (NM only)

in early 1944 (pre-Invasion Striped). All new decals replace the originals by Major Lee, and Decal randomization set to TRUE. The NEW skin is in Jpg format. Serial numbers are 'generic' in nature, but are correct for the model/sub-variant depicted.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Major Lee's original readme is enclosed for historical purposes

    A slight reskinning/rebadging for Wolf's P-47 (Razorback), represents the 334th
FS, 4th FG shortly after converting from Spitfires to early P-47
    "Thunderbolts".

This package is designed to work on/with my "P-47C/D (Early) Pak", available at
    the following url:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/13740-sf2-ww2-eto-p-47cd-early-pak/

Included is a slightly modified data ini, with corrected operation dates,
rounded to closest whole month. (you may with to back up the original data ini,
as a 'just in case', before installing this pak)
No weapons or pilot figures are included; you should have them already. The
skin is in jpg format, and decal randomization is TRUE.
The other 3 squadrons of the 4th can be easily recreated, by simple making a
    "SCode.tga" (squadron code letter decal).

**REMINDER: this pack is for PTO Razorback Jugs -only-!!! And by PTO, this means SoWesPac, NOT CBI, not the Solomons, etc!!! This would include New Guinea, points north and west, and obviously the Philipines.**

This is a new skin for Cocas' PTO P-47D Razorback Thunderbolt. If you don't have it already, you can get the aircraft at the following url:
    http://combatace.com/files/file/15204-sf2-ww2-pto-republic-p-47d-razorback-thunderbolt-by-cocas/

    The skin included is for:

39th FS, 35th FG, as seen in the Phillipines in mid-1944 (also slightly earlier)

It represents the aircraft in their later scheme, up until the time the 35th converted to Mustangs. (oddly, almost all of 5th AF Jugs carried the tail stripes of one kind or another).
All markings are decals, and Decal randomization is TRUE.
The aircraft is finished in Overall Natural Metal, with "new style" Southwest Pacfic markings as of mid-1944. These are the pre-war style red rudder stripes, with a blue leading edge on the Rudder.

  13. SF2 P-47N Thunderbolt Post WW2 USAAF/USAF & Air National Guard Skins Pack

    SF2 P-47N Thunderbolt Post WW2 USAAF/USAF & Air National Guard Skins Pack       6/20/2019
-For SF2, (Full 5 Merged Reccomended)-
This is a package for post-WW2 and Air National Guard squadrons that flew the P/F-47N Thunderbolt in the years from 1946-1954. These are for V.2 of Russ's N-Jug. All skins are in jpg format.
You can find Version 2.0 of Russ' P-47N at the following URL:
    https://combatace.com/files/file/13202-p-47n-157z/
The skins included herein for Regular USAAF/USAF units are:
    37th/48th/49th FS, 14th FG
    99th/100th/301st FS, 477th CG/332nd FG
The other skins included here are for the Air National Guards of the following states:
    Connecticut
    Delaware
    Georgia
    Hawaii (Territory of)
    Massachusetts
    Pennsylvania
    Puerto Rico (Territory of)
The USAAF/USAF had divided the country at the Mississippi River, and had P-51 Mustang ANG units in the west, and P-47D/N units in the east. This is why this set only has Thunderbolts, and all are Eastern States.
They are displayed on the Squadron Selection Drop-down window on the Loading Screen, as below:
    37th/48th/49th FS 14FG (1946-48)
    99th/100th/301st FSs 332nd FG (1945-48)
    118th FS, 103rd FG (CT ANG 1946-52)
    142nd FS (DE ANG 1946-54)
    128th FS (GA ANG 1947-51)
    199th FS (HI ANG 1946-54)
    101st FS (MA ANG 1947-51)
    146th FS, 112th FG (PA ANG 1947-51)
    198th FS (PR ANG 1947-55)
Operational dates are rounded to the closest full year. The SF2 'date switch' is =NOT= used on any of these skins, as they overlap each other. End users (tm) will have to make any changes manually on the Loadout Screen for their flightmates.
A new data ini, with vastly improved FM and engine parameters (Now! With WEP!) is included. Some minor adjustments in hit boxes, armor, fuel tanks, etc have been performed. The operational years remain the same, so WW2 PTO users need not worry. Just drop it in. A backup copy of the original data ini is included, as a safety measure. It should be noted, Stary's superb Late WW2 cockpit -HIGHLY reccomended for this bird- is NOT included. If there is enough interest, I can add it to this, and upload an update. Or update the basic WW2 aircraft package.
Other than special squadron markings (color bands and the like) all  markings are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE. Each squadron has 26 serial and 'Buzz number' decals. On the individual aircraft select drop down, for all skins, any marked with a star (*) are been 100% positively identified as having served in that unit. Any not marked should be considered generic in nature as they don't actually represent aircraft from any particular unit, but are late production block P-47Ns. Please see the "Notes" section for information regarding the 332nd & 14th FGs. They are treated as special cases. A reminder -- this package =ONLY= contains American users (USAF & ANG). None of the export customers are included. Nor are any weapons or pilot figures included. You should have them already.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. As there exists an eariler version of these skins/decals, you will want to delete them or back them up to a different location entirely =BEFORE= installing these. Also, PLEASE read the "Notes" for further explainitory words on hows and whys.

    Happy Landings!

  14. SF2 P-47D-40 Thunderbolt Upgrade/Update Pack

    SF2 P-47D-40 Thunderbolt Upgrade/Update Pack       2/5/2020
-For SF2, Any and All (Full 5 Merged Reccomended)
This is a small update for the P-47D-40 Thunderbolts used in the last year of WW2, and into the Post-War Era. It is designed for use on the -40 Jug that Cocas and I built. You can find the full aircraft at the following URL:
    https://combatace.com/files/file/16542-sf2-ww2-eto-p-47d-40-late/
The package is built to just "drop in" over the existing inis (overwrite), and included updated data, loadout and user lists to futher reflect the P-47Ds use in the Post-War world. 19. SF2 WW2 ETO, P-51B Mustang, 336th FS Skin Pak

    SF2 WW2 ETO, P-51B Mustang, 336th FS Skin Pak 6/28/14

    = For SF2, (Full 5 Merged Reccomended/Prefered) =

A new skin for ETO based P-51B (square canopy) Mustangs. This is for Wolf's Mustang, not any others. If you don't have the SF2 Uprated version of Wolf's P-51B, you get it at the following URL:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/13737-sf2-ww2-eto-p-51b-mustang-pak/

This skin represents aircraft from the 336th Fighter Squadron, 4th Figher Group, in 1944 (before D-Day, or after, assuming the Invasion Stripes are removed).

The aircraft is finished standard OD/Grey, with white QIMs
The skin is in jpg format, and is slightly revamped from earlier version, with new panel and rivet lines. All markings (excepting the QIMs and national markings) are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE. Serial numbers are 100% correct, and matched to the 'plane-in-group' letters, excpeting those marked with a star (*). Those aricraft DID serve in the 336, but I was unable to match the serials to any individual letter. There are NO nose arts, excepting Gentile & Godfrey's red checks, and Gentile's "Shangra-La". Others texture/decal artists are encouraged to do the leg/brain work if they wish to create others. Be advised, there may not be enough mesh positions for correct placements.
Also, included is a modified loadout ini, as I'd originally inadvertently assigned the drop tanks to the wrong hardpoints!

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....

(this is an expansion of the pack seen previously in the "Decals, How To?" discussion thread in the SF2 Mods/Skinning Forum. If you DID download that pack from the attachement in that thread, you are advised to DELETE the 336 skin and decals folders, as this WILL replace it)
