  1. P-2H Neptune MLD (Netherlands Naval Air Service)

P-2H "Neptune" RNNAS (MLD) Skin/Decals Pak

    -- For SF2, Any & All --

This skin and decal pak is for the P-2H Neptune, and recreates aircraft from 320 Squadron, Royal Netherlands Naval Air Service (aka Marine-Luchtvaartdienst or MLD), in the 1970s.

Designed for the recently released SF2 upgrade, which can be found here:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/11914-p-2h-neptune-skinsdecals-and-ini-update-pak/

    (yes, shameless self-promotion!)

This adds another user's skin, with (hopefully!) historically accurate markings and serials.
Another minor tweek, is the canopy glass tga has now been made fully transparant.

As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install. A note about the canopy glass tga is in here too!

    Happy Hunting!

  2. SF2 KAW F2H-2 Banshee Tweeks Pak -for Razbam Banshees

SF2 KAW F2H-2 Banshee Tweeks Pak -for Razbam Banshees 7/6/2014

    = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

***PLEASE NOTE!!! You must have the original Razbam Payware Banshee set for all the
necessary items!!! If you can't purchase the item from the Razbam Store, do NOT
download this mod; it will do you NO good. This package =ONLY= includes those items
    modded by me.***

This package contains a few (partly) repainted skin maps for the 4 original skins.
They now carry decals for Modex and BuNums.
These are =ONLY= for the F2H-2, as used in the early 1950s, particually over Korea.
Included are new decals, decal inis, number lists, userlist, etc. The repainted skin maps are:

    Fuselage_t
    Main_t
    Wing2_t

You'll find all these items in their appropriate skin subfolders.

Also, a totaly NEW skin, for VF-172 "Blue Bolts" was created and included. This was
the first unit to take the Banshee into combat in Korea.

Skins remain in bmp format. Decal randomization is TRUE. All aircraft use a "pool" of
BuNum decals. The BuNum decals, when correct for this model, should be considered
'generic' in nature, as they represent ony the aircraft itself, not specific aircraft
in any particular unit. Both USMC units also use a "pool" of Modex numbers.
National insignia, and CVG code letters remain painted on, excepting for those on the
VF-172 skin. All markings on that one, excepting the national insignia, are decals.

A modified data, loadout, and main (F-2H2.ini) are included. A new avionics ini is
included, that activates the range-only gun radar (similiar to F-86E/F models).
Shadows have been turned OFF, due to 'tractor beam' issues. NEW damage tgas are
    supplied as well.
It may be advisable for you to back up ALL the original inis, just for safety's sake.

    When in game, you'll see

    F2H-2 Banshee (Raz)

on the aircraft selection drop down menu.

The aircraft is carrier-capable, with all the SF2NA coding for deck 'parking'.
However, as the wings do NOT fold, you will probably NOT see them parked on the boat.
The Standard Animation Keystroke ™ is used for the canopy (Shift/0).
No weapons, sounds, pilots, etc are included. These are Razbam copyright items, and
are included in his package. Those that have NOT updated their pilot to the SF2
folderized standard, should do so soonest. OTH, the weapons used are readily available
    in the KAW Weapons Pak.
Further work is required by those FM Gurus to bring it all the way home. I've done
    what I can with it.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So,
please read them BEFORE installing (but after unzipping, of course). Also, give the
    "Notes" section a read too.
Full credits are listed in the usual place, down with the "Notes".

  3. SF2 F2H-3 Banshee Tweeks Pak -for Razbam Banshees

SF2 F2H-3 Banshee Tweeks Pak -for Razbam Banshees 4/6/2015

This package contains a few (partly) repainted skin maps for the original skins. They now carry decals for Modex and BuNums.
These are =ONLY= for the F2H-3, as used in the mid thru late 1950s by the USN and RCN (1962-ish end date).
Included are new decals, decal inis, number lists, etc. The repainted skin maps are:

    Fuselage_t
    Main_t *
    Wing2_t

    *-VF-193 only*

You'll find all these items in their appropriate skin subfolders.
Skins remain in bmp format. Decal randomization is TRUE. All USN aircraft use a "pool" of BuNum decals. The BuNums, while correct for this model, should be considered 'generic' in nature, as they represent only the aircraft itself, not specific aircraft in any particular unit. The RCN skin 'bunums' are historic, but again, not matched to any particular aircraft
National insignia, and CVG code letters remain painted on, as is the RCN fin flash.
The SF2 'date switch is used for the VF-193 skin (gull grey/white), activating it in 1955.
The decals are set as 'randomized' for all skins.

Modified data, loadout, and main (F-2H2.ini) inis are included. The avionics and cockpit inis have had a few small adjustments, as has the data ini (see "Notes" for more information). A new SF2 userlist.ini has also been created. Operation dates (including export start and stop) have been adjusted to 'closest year'.
A brighter gunsight tgs is included as well. Shadows have been turned OFF, due to 'tractor beam' issues. NEW damage tgas are supplied as well.
It may be advisable for you to back up ALL the original inis, just for safetys sake.

    When in game, you'll see

    F2H-3 Banshee (Raz)

on the aircraft selection drop down menu.
The aircraft is carrier-capable (after a fashion -see "Notes"), with SF2NA coding for deck 'parking'.However, as the wings do =NOT= fold, you will probably NOT see them parked on the boat. HOWEVER... it has MAJOR issues in getting back on the boat under AI or Autopilot control. The FM needs to be completely overhauled (again, see "Notes").

The Standard Animation Keystroke ™ is used for the canopy, (Shift/0)
No weapons are included, using all stock in-game itmes. Nor are sounds, pilots, etc, included. These are Razbam copyright items, and are included in his package. Those that have NOT updated their pilot to the SF2 folderized standard, should do so soonest.
Further work is required by those FM Gurus to bring it all the way home. I've done what I can with it.

This package contains a few (partly) repainted skin maps for the original skins. They now carry decals for Modex and BuNums.
These are =ONLY= for the F2H-4, as used in the mid 1950s through early 1960s by the USN and USMC.
Included are new decals, decal inis, number lists, etc. The repainted skin maps for the 2 original skins are:

    Fuselage_t
    Main_t
    Wing2_t

You'll find all these items in their appropriate skin subfolders.

You are also getting 2 brand new skins, for the "early" paint schemes. They are:

    VF-114 (NM)
    VMF-533 (DGNB)

This was done because the 2 original skins are for AFTER the switch to Gull Grey & White. The aircraft operations years predate this, and these skins were needed for histerical accuracy.
These 2 skins carry no painted on marking, other than the star-and-bar (and the fin top color for VF-114), making it a fairly easy proposition for other texture artists to create other units via decals for CVG letters or Modex numbers (and painting out or changing the color of the fin topper).
Skins remain in bmp format. Decal randomization is TRUE for all skins. All aircraft use a "pool" of BuNum decals. VMF-533 uses the same numbers, but residing in their own folder, as they are white in color. The BuNum decals, while correct for this model, should be considered 'generic' in nature, as they represent only the aircraft itself, not specific aircraft in any particular unit.
National insignia, and CVG code letters remain painted on for the originals.
The SF2 'date switch is used for the gull grey/white skins, activating them in 1956, for their respective services. The other 2 early skins will show when years BEFORE 1956 are selected.

Modified data, loadout, and main (F-2H2.ini) inis are included. The cockpit ini has had a few small adjustments, as has the data ini (see "Notes" for more information). A new SF2 userlist.ini has also been created. Operational dates (including export start and stop) have been adjusted to 'closest year'.
A brighter gunsight tgs is included as well. Shadows have been turned OFF, due to 'tractor beam' issues. NEW damage tgas are supplied as well.
It may be advisable for you to back up ALL the original inis, just for safetys sake (read: DO IT!!).

    When in game, you'll see

    F2H-4 Banshee (Raz)

on the aircraft selection drop down menu.

The aircraft is carrier-capable (after a fashion) with SF2NA coding for deck 'parking'.However, as the wings do =NOT= fold, you will probably NOT see them parked on the boat. More information in the "Notes" section.
The Standard Animation Keystroke ™ is used for the canopy, (Shift/0)
No weapons are included, using all stock in-game itmes. Nor are sounds, pilots, etc included. These are Razbam copyright items, and are included in his package. Those End Users ™ that have NOT updated their pilot to the SF2 folderized standard, should do so soonest.

  5. SF2 DC-4 (C-54) TOPAC Airlines Skin Pack

    SF2 DC-4 (C-54) TOPAC Airlines Skin Pack 6/15/2015

    = For SF2 (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED) =

This is a new, civilian skin for Veltro2k's C-54 Skymaster cargo plane. If you don't have it, you can get the aircraft at the following URL:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/14309-sf2-douglas-c-54-skymaster-by-veltro2k/

The skin represents the (fictional) Trans-Orient Pacific Airlines as seen in the movie "The High and The Mighty". Although the colors are correct for the real world company.
The registration numbers ARE 100% historicaly correct for the aircraft depicted, although used by Transocean Airlines (whose aircraft were used for the film, of course, repainted to the TOPAC "brand"), based out of Oakland CA in the late 1940s through the late 1960s. They used up to 68 DC-4 & ex-USA(A)F C-54s for passanger and cargo transport, worldwide.
The skin is in jpg format. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. The aircraft registration marked with a star (*) is the aircraft used in the film.
While this DOES depict a civilian airliner, the "nation" has been attached to 'USAF', as the Real Company DID do contract work from them

As always, unzip this to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for the install instructions.

(please note, this has NOT been placed in the "What If..." hangar, due to the Real World ™ existence of the actual company the aircraft was used by, regardless of "TOPAC" being fictional

  6. SF2 C-54 Skymaster, Arctic Skins Pack

    SF2 C-54 Skymaster, Arctic Skins Pack       6/7/2019
    - For SF2, Full 5 Merged (Reccomended )
This contains 2 new skins for Veltro2k's C-54 Skymaster. The aircraft itself can be found at the following url, for those that don't have it already:
    https://combatace.com/files/file/14309-sf2-douglas-c-54-skymaster-by-veltro2k/
These are somewhat generic skins for those USAF units that flew in the high latatudes (Arctic & Antarctic) during the late 1940s through the mid-1950s. Both aircraft carry the nose and tail Military Air Transport Command (MATS) badges, correct for the time.
Both aircraft have the standard arctic red tail and wing easy ID markings.
"Arctic 1" is in all Natural Metal finish. It is badged for MATS Altantic Division
"Arctic 2" is in NMF with the post-1955 white anti-heat treatment on the upper cabin. It is badged for MATS Pacific Division. No specific units are represented.
Both skins use a 'pool' of serial numbers and other markings. Serial numbers are generic in nature, but are for the correct model C-54.  Decal randomization is TRUE for both. The SF2 Date switch is =NOT= used on either skin, as this would mess up the standard switching from NMF to NMF/White on the other skins.
When in game, on the Loadout Screen, in the skin selection window, you'll see:
    Arctic Red (1948-54)
    Arctic Red (1955<)
This way, you should be able to select the proper skin for the time frame to be flown in.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.

    SF2 F2H-2 Banshee, VMF-224 Skin Pack       10/2/2020
-For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
    "Quarantine Approved - Essential Mods"
This package contains an additional skin for the recently released F2H-2 Banshee by Veltro2K. It can be found at the following url:

This skin, like the others, is in jpg format, and decal randomization is TRUE. 24 modex numbers have been supplied. It also uses the same pool of BuNum data plaque decals as the others.
This skin represents the USMC squadron VMF-224 "Bengals" from 1949 thru 1952. Based at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina, and during their 1952 Med Cruise aboard USS FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT (CVA-42) in 1952.

  8. SF2 Lockheed L-1049G Super Constellation Airliner Skin Pack 1

SF2 Lockheed L-1049G Super Constellation Airliner Skin Pack 1      5/12/2020
-For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
This package contains 2 new airliner skins for the civilian Super Constellation. You can find the original aircraft package at the following URL:
    https://combatace.com/files/file/17424-sf2-lockheed-l-1049-super-constellation-pack-by-russouk/
The airliner companies represented here are:
    Qantas (15 aircraft)
    Lufthansa (8 aircraft)
While many markings are painted on, a large majority are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE. All registration numbers are 100% historically correct. The Qantas skin also has the names assiged to the aircraft by the company (Southern Star, etc), matched to their registration numbers.
This should give some nice eye candy parked around your airfields in the mid 1950s and early 1960s.

  9. F-104G, ROCAF

F-104G Starfighter, ROCAF Skin & Decal Pak

A rebadging of the stock F-104G Starfighter to those as used by the Republic of China (aka: Taiwan) from the mid-1960s until their retirment in the late 1990s.

As such, it should be considered as a 'generic' skin; although the serials and ID numbers are accurate, it represents no particular unit. The serials and ID numbers represent the first 40ish 104Gs the ROCAF acquired.

Although built and designed for use in SF2 series sims, it's easily backdated for use on SF/Wo* 1st Gens as well. I've even included a SF/Wo* series type Decals ini, ready for use.
For SF2 users, a modified F-104G_UserList.ini is included, with corrected service dates for Taiwan.

As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed install instructions. I've tried to make it as simple and easy as possible.

A perfect addition to Gepards' Formosa Terrain!

  10. F-104G Starfighter, Generic SEA/NATO 3-Tone skin

    F-104G Starfighter, Generic SEA/NATO 3-Tone skin, (1024x1024)

For SF2, Any & All (Full-4 Merged Prefered)

Note: usable in any SF2 install with access to the F-104G

This is 'medium rez' skin for the stock F-104G; I call these "medium rez", as it's only 1024 x 1024. There is no partucular nation attached to this skin; it's "Generic" (however, certain contries may have had different placards - these, again, are generic in nature).

This is a "clean" skin, with no painted on markings, using all stock in-game markings (decals) - the decals ini will use whichever you choose (excepting USAF). This will allow skinners/decalers more latitude in creating country-specific squadron markings and such. The skin has a default start date of 1970; you can adjust as needed (again, a generic date of 1973 might be more accurate).

Included also are updated data and loadout inis, with "Nation & Year Specific" mission profile loadouts (in particular Marineflieger anti-ship). Updated version of the AS-30 and Kormoran 1 missile are included, for MFG usage.
*Note: the only thing NOT added is the Orpheus recon pod for KLU usage*

As expected, the canopy operates with the Shift/0 key.
Since the skin mapping hasn't changed since SFP1, this skin should (may) also be usable in 1stGen game installs that have the F-104G accessable. This, however, has NOT been tested.

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them!!

  11. F-104A, Pakistani AF, and Ini Tweeks Pak

F-104A, Pakistani Air Force, And Ini Tweeks Pak
    = For SF2, Any and All =

Some modifications (ini wise) and a new-ish skin for the recently re-released revamp of Ajundair's F-104A Starfighter. This package is =ONLY= to be applied to the F-104A Pak by Spillone104, available at:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/13082-f-104a-pack/

This adds a Pakistani AF skin, with historical serial numbers (albeit 2 are for 104Bs ...) as used by No. 9 Squadron; Decal randomization is set to TRUE. Also included are several inis with some additions and corrections.
Please note, the skins are in jpg format, so be at least at the Jan 2012 patch level for them to work. If not ... you can figure out the alternatives.

    The inis are:
Data.ini (with corrected export dates, and steerable nose wheel)
    Userlist (with, hopefuly correct years)
Loadout ini (corrects the "always loading Falcons" issue)
main ini (with some minor additions)
Hangar screen (albeit the SF2 revamped 1stGen F-104G, but the differences are so small...)
Cockpit.ini, (with working secondary ADI and oil pressure gauges, ala F-104G)
the included cockpit folder does NOT have the lod, but does contain the hi-rez skins by batman1976; and probably several other not used bmps -- I couldn't remember which ones to remove, so left them alone

As always, READ the enclosed readme for usual fully detailed install instructions.

  12. SF2 DLC #28: F-104A Starfighter, Pakistani Air Force

    = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged, =WITH= DLC #28 (Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) =

*DLC #28 is REQUIRED for this mod!!*

A remod skin/decal set for the DLC F-104A, recreates the Starfighter as used by the PAF.
The decals are re-used from my Indo-Pak Mod, that was based on Ajundair's old 1stGen A Zipper. Now, we're using the newest model (you all know how I hate to waste decals.... ).

Included are 98.6% historical serial numbers (albeit 2 are for 104Bs ...) as used by No. 9 Squadron, PAF. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. Also included are several inis with some additions and corrections.

    The inis are:
Data.ini (operable canopy, standard keystrokes, Shift/0)
    Loadout ini
    main ini
Hangar screen (an SF2 revamped version of the 1stGen's F-104G)
    Loadout image (bmp)
    Avionics. ini
Cockpit.ini, (with working secondary ADI and oil pressure gauges, ala F-104G)

*REMINDER!!! You =MUST= have DLC #28 to have access to the aircraft's LOD.*

me to update it. Included are USAF and Air National Guard skins.

    RJAF:
    No 9 Squadron.
This skin replaces the stock 3W with 100% hisorical serials, but is still named
the same (from my 1stGen mod of Ajundairs)

All markings are decals, and decal Randomization is TRUE.

    The inis included are:
Data.ini (operable canopy, standard keystrokes, Shift/0)
    Loadout ini
    main ini
Hangar screen (an SF2 revamped version of the 1stGen's F-104G)
    Loadout image (bmp)
    Avionics. ini
Cockpit.ini, (with working secondary ADI and oil pressure gauges, ala F-104G)
User list with corrected RJAF date.
Please note, the cockpit itself is =NOT= included -- you'll have to find the
F-104G's pit on your own. (these inis will replace those in the PAF F-104A skin pak. Allow the overwrite)

*REMINDER!!! You =MUST= have DLC #28 to access the aircraft's LOD.*

For those that have the recently uploaded PAF A-Zipper, just allow the
overwrite of the inis. I've fiddled with their order, to make them more user
friendly. Also included is my (patent pending) 'One Click Restore Main ini' for
when the game engine ™ rewirtes it.

Also, if you have ANY of the original Ajundair F-104As ported over to SF2, you
are ADIVSED to rename ALL the folders (aircraft and decals), back them up or
remove them BEFORE installing this package. There is a distinct possibility
that this mod may merge with them, and really and truely foul things up! The
same is equally valid for the upcoming mods for the DLC F-104Cs, that are now
    'in the hangar'.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are
    included. So, please -READ- them!!

  14. SF2 DLC #28: F-104C (61) Starfighter Skins/Ini Pak, Part 1

    SF2 DLC #28: F-104C (61) Starfighter Skins/Ini Pak, Part 1 3/15/2014

    = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged, =WITH= DLC #28 (Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) =

*DLC #28 is REQUIRED for this mod!!*

The pack contains some remods of Daves skins/decals that were originally seen on Anjundair's F-104C. Now that we have a better model (DLC #28), it behooved me to update it.
Please note, this pack is set up for the F-104C_61 variant from the DLC pak (WITH refueling probe). However, with a simple rename of the skin maps, it can be used on the standard or garden Variety F-104C included in DLC 28. It is NOT for use on the F-104C_66. That will be covered in another mod pak See "Notes" for more information on skin renaming.

This pack contains skins/decals for the following units:

    479th TFW, George AFB:
    434th TFS
    435th TFS
    436th TFS
476th TFS (all in stateside full-color markings)
    and
476th TFS, as seen at Da Nang, RVN in 1964 (called 476_E, with tail TAC Badge)

All aircraft are in 'Natural Metal' finish
All markings are decals, and decal Randomization is TRUE.

    The inis included are:
Data.ini (operable canopy, Standard Keystroke, Shift/0)
    Loadout ini
    main ini
Hangar screen (an SF2 revamped version of the 1stGen's F-104G)
    Loadout image (bmp)
Avionics. ini (with non-historic audio-only RWR)
Cockpit.ini, (with working secondary ADI and oil quantity gauges, ala F-104G)
Please note, the cockpit itself is =NOT= included -- you'll have to find the F-104G's pit on your own.
When in game, just to be sure, you'll see "F-104C Starfighter (61) (3W)". This will differentiate it from the 1stGen mods (see below, as an added safety precaution)
When installing, just allow the overwrite of the inis. I've fiddled with the skin listing order, to make them more user friendly. Also included is my (patent pending) 'One Click Restore Main Ini' for when the game engine ™ rewirtes it.

  16. MiG-15bis Fagot-B, Fuerza Aérea Revolucionara (Cuba)

    MiG-15bis Fagot-B, Fuerza Aérea Revolucionara

    = For SF2, Full-4 Merged, PLUS Expansion Pak 1 =

As stated above, you MUST have -at minimum!!- SF2 (full-4 merged) plus and/or SF2I with Expansion Pak 1, as this added the 15bis to our aircraft stable. As I have a full-4 merged, plus both expansions, I can't say for sure it's available any other way.

The skin, is a base natural metal, with a partly repainted (from a partial template) tail bmp to add the FAR rudder flash. The stock in-game Bort number decals are used, as all the photographic evidence seems to point that way. (in fact, other than the repainted tail bmp, everything is stock!)

The latest (as of 1/11 patch) _data ini is included, as I've activated the canopy, added a different pilot (my craptastic PilotER), and a seat ("liberated" from Pakso's old version -- fits quite nicely, too!) for him to park it on. The 'main' ini is also included, as I've included Ordway's Mig Pit, making the aircraft player-flyable (as if you all haven't done that alreadly!). The engine sound has been set to the old TMF "MiGEngine.wav" (not supplied), but there are several good/better ones out there for you to find.

The canopy is activated via a manual animation key (use shift/0 to open and close it).

As always, fairly easy to follow, highyl detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....

    Somali Air Corps MiG-17F Fresco-C
    =For SF2, Any and All with MiG-17F Avaliable=

A new skin and decal set for the stock 3W MiG-17F Fresco-C, representing those as used by the SAC in the 60s/70s and maybe the early 1980.

With so little hard data available, and only 2 know serials, some conjecture and extrapolation was used in creating the others. 24 decals are supplied for the serials, all other markings are stock items. Locations, from the 4 existing pictures -and 2 were Farmers and of no use!- showed the serial sometimes on the nose, sometimes on the vert fin. I've 'split the difference', and placed them on both. 100% historical accuracy is =NOT= claimed. Decal randomization is set to TRUE for the serials.

It's reccomended that you have converted your AI-Only Fresco to Player-Usable by adding Ordway's cockpit pak availalbe somewhere in the CA downloads section

MiG-21F Fishbed-C, Fuerza Aérea Revolucionara (Cuba)

= For SF2, Any and All, Merged or Not, With Access to MiG-21F =

As stated above, you MUST have an install that has the MiG-21F in it. As this is pretty much ALL installs, it should work in all types, merged or not. It also assumes you've made the aircraft flyable. If not, consult the CombatAce Knowledge Base for instructions.

The skin is a base natural metal with a partly repainted (from a partial template) tail bmp to add the FAR rudder flash. The stock in-game Bort number decals are used, as all the photographic evidence seems to point that way. (in fact, other than the repainted tail bmp, everything is stock!)

The latest (as of 1/11 patch) _data ini is included, as I've activated the canopy, and included a modified Loadout ini, that adds the centerline drop tank to the base Air-to-Air loadout, and reset the RECON loadout. The engine sound has been set to the old TMF "MiGEngine.wav" (not supplied), but there are several good/better ones out there for you to find.
A replacement main ini (MiG-21F.ini), and a NEW avionics ini that activates the gun-ranging radar are included. When installing allow for the overwrite. Any other skins will be automatically added (so, not to worry!)

The canopy is activated via a manual animation key (use shift/0 to open and close it). As all the decals used are stock, there are no additional decals to be added.

  19. Ethiopian AF MiG-21MF Fishbed-J

Ethiopian AF MiG-21MF Fishbed-J Skin Pak

    = For SF2, Any and All =

*Note: Full-4 Merged reccomended, but can be use in any game with access to the MiG-21MF*

A new skin/decal pak for the stock 3rd Wire MiG-2MF "Fishbed-J", representing EtAF MiGs from the late 1970s to the present.

This is a complete package, containing Paladrain's cockpit (just in case you haven't made it flyable yet). Modified data and loadout inis, and so forth. The canopy has been activated via animation key, the Usual Suspect ™, Shift/0.

An extra main ini, called "xMiG-21MF.ini" is supplied so after patching, or DLC installation, a simple 'One click Operation' ™ will return this aircraft to Player-Usable status. Instruction on how-to are in the "To Install" section below.

The skin is based of the stock 3W one for the SyAF, as it has the closest colors and camo pattern, with all new decals and serials. (note: some as originally delivered were in Natural Metal. Camo looks better to me!) Insignia decals are stock in-game items. Serials for 25 aircraft are supplied. Decal randomization is set to TRUE, and this skin has a default start date of 1977 (when Ethiopia recieved their first ones). The number sequencing (10**) is correct for these aircraft as there were at least 2 full squadrons of Fishbeds of varying marks in the EtAF, including some 21bis. Many of which were captured or defected to Eritrea during the civil war.

A new, 'generic Fishbed' SF2 style hanger screen is also included.

All weapons called for are stock, in-game items from/for a Full-4 Merged install. A new 'year specific' loadout for all users has been added to the loadout ini, based on several profiles and pictures I came across doing research. (adds more missles, similar to 21bis - apparently, =MANY= MFs were modified this way)

  20. RAAF Meteor F.8, 77 Squadron

    Meteor F8, RAAF, 77 Squadron Skin/Decal Pak
    - For SF2, Full-4 Merged Installs =WITH= Expansion Pak 1 (REQUIRED!) -

As stated above, you MUST have -at the very least, SF2:I and Expansion Pak 1 to gain access to the Meteor F8. If you do NOT have these minimum requirements, Do Not Download this Mod, as you'll be unable to use it.

This pak contains a skin a decal set replicating Meteor F8s from RAAF 77 Squadron, 1951-ish time frame, during the Korean War. The serial numbers are 100% historicaly accurate for
those airframes assigned 77 Sqdn during Korea. Number randomization has been activated, so make sure you're at LEAST at the June, 2011 patch level. Three historical Korean-Era nose arts are included. They are 'name listed' next to their serial numbers, selectable from the drop-down on the Loadout Screen.

Several inis are also included, as I've made some changes to loadouts (making sure the belly tank is ALWAYS loaded), data ini and year-adjusted Userlist ini. The data ini also as the canopy activated; as usual, use Shift/0 to open and close it.

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....Also, it's advisable to read the "Notes" section for important comments, other instructions and general rambling.

  21. SF2 RNNAS (MLD) Hawker Seafury Skin Pack

SF2 RNNAS Hawker Seafury Skin Pack 4/6/2015

*For SF2 -ONLY-!! Full-5 Merged Reccomended*

This package contains a skin for the recently released (skippybing) Hawker Seafury. You can find the base aircraft at the following URL (and you'll need it to add these skins to):

    http://combatace.com/files/file/15390-sf2-kaw-hawker-sea-fury-sb-pack/
Reminder: this is ONLY a skin/decal pak!

This skin represents RNNAS (MLD) Seafurys aboard HNLMS Karel Doorman in 1951. These are from 860 Squadron, in their standard RN FAA scheme. All markings, execpting the service name on the tail, are decals (due to running out of meshes). Decal randomization is TRUE. These represent the late batches as delivered to the MLD (#s 25-48, although 10-24 also carried this scheme).

Also included, from eburger's SF2NA Ulitmate CV Pack, is a slightly modified version of the HNLMS Karel Doorman itself. Hull and deck decals have been activated. See "Notes" for change log.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them after Unzipping but =BEFORE= installing!! Also, as usual, give the "Notes and Comments" section a read, too.

  22. Eritrean AF MiG-29 Fulcrum-C (for TMFs MiG-29)

Eritrean AF MiG-29 Fulcrum-C Skin Pak

    = For SF2, Any and All =

A new skin/decal pak for the TMFs MiG-29C, representing ErAF Fulcrums from the late 1990s to the present.

Inis tweeks were made to the data, loadout inis. You'll want to back up your original before installing this pack.
A new "Userlist.ini" is included (may not be fully accurate, and changes/updates are welcomed!). Weapons are =NOT= included, so you'll need the GunnyPak or some other full WeaponsPak for SF2. You also =MUST= have TMF's MiG-29C in your game install (doh!) to install this pak to.

These skins have been partly repainted (with redrawn panel and rivet lines) in several areas to remove the painted-on markings, creating a 'blank' canvas to allow for the use of decals for ALL markings. The side effect of that, is other countries can easily be created by simple edits of the decals ini. On this version, as stated above, ALL the markings used here are decals. Serial numbers are 'best guess' based on the limited information (both text and photographic) available. In actuality, the ErAF only has 7 MiG-29s; I've cheated and extraploated numbers for 12 aircraft. So, it's not 100% historically accurate.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included.
Please read them after unzipping, and before installation!!!

Ethiopian AF Su-27 Flanker Skin Pak 2/10/2011

    = For SF2, Any and All =

A new skin/decal pak for the Marcfighters Su-27, representing EtAF Flankers from the late 1990s to the present.

A new "Userlist.ini" is included (may not be fully accurate, and changes/updates are welcomed!), as well as slightly tweeked data, avionics and cockpit inis (made some general fixes in regards to things not working/missing/fitting quite right). Weapons are NOT included, so you'll need the GunnyPak or some other full WeaponsPak for SF2. You also =MUST= have the Su-27 in your game install (doh!) to install this pak to.

  24. SF2 WW2 PTO P-40N, USAAF (SWPA) Skinpak

    SF2 WW2 PTO P-40N, USAAF (SWPA) Skinpak 9/14/2013

-- Something for the WW2 PTO players --

    = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: this pak MAY be usable in 1stGen SF/Wo* game installs. However, some features
(decal randomization, DDS damge textures, destroyed model, etc) will be NOT
functional. Use in 1stGens has not, and cannot be, tested by me.*

**Notex2: this mod is designed for use ONLY in a PTO-Centric mods folder**

A new skin for Raven's P-40N, a "generic" representation of USAAF P-40Ns in SoWesPac
Theatre (read: New Guinea). Although the "Displayed Name" on the Loadout Screen will
say "7th FS, 49th FG" (the Bunyaps), they are to be considered a bit more generic than
Squadron Specific. Even though the individual plane-in-group numbers fits those of the
    7th's usage.

Skins remain in their bmp format.
New DDS damage textures (usable on all Raven's Warhawk/Kittyhawk in SF2 only) are
    included.
A slightly modified data ini, with some flight model tweeks, and switching to the
AvHistory engine sound. So, be prepared to back up some inis for saftey!!! A new
textureset ini for the "Bare Metal" skin is included, that adds Decal Randomization
for SF2. A new userlist ini was created, for the Export Customers.
All markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. Also, via the use of my
(patent pending) Fake SqTail decal, the squadron name display is now active on the
    Loadout Screen.

No weapons are included, except SF2 Versions of the new drop tanks (for those that
haven't converted them yet). New theatre-specific Hangar and Loading screens are
    included, too.

The skins have been run through the template (thank you Raven for that!), and have had
a layer of dirt and 'clouds' added for weathering. They're still not dirty enough for
    my taste, but it's something!!

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included.

  25. SF2 WW2 PTO P-47N, Ini, Skin/Decal Update Pak

    SF2 WW2 PTO P-47N, Ini, Skin/Decal Update Pak 10/28/2014

-- Something for the WW2 PTO players --

    = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

**Note: this mod is to be applied to Russ's "P-47N V.2 Final Pak", available at the following URL:

    http://combatace.com/files/file/13202-p-47n-157z/

If you don't have, you should get it!!**

These skins are for WW2 PTO use ONLY! The represent P-47Ns as seen in the last months of the war.
Revamped/Updated skins and decals included are:

    19th FS
    333rd FS
464th FS (replaces the MeatChopper skin & decal folders)
463rd FS (now with some nose arts)

Included as well are revamped loadout and data inis. The data ini contains a slightly refined FM, but is not 100% perfect (although MUCH better than before!), and may need further tweeking by experts. The loadout ini fixes a missed station. A backup copy of the original data ini is included, so you don't need to back up your original.
You also get a NEW box-art style loading screen.

New plane-in-squadron ID numbers, and serials number decals (where used) were created for those using them. The PIS numbers follow the correct sequencing. The serials, while correct for the mark, should be considered 'generic' in nature, as they represent no particular aircraft with the squadrons depicted. Decal randomization is TRUE.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!
To eliminate confusion, You'll be renaming, moving or deleting some folder, as these will replace them. So, before installing, unzip this archive and read the Install Instructions.
