It was very much part of my formative years. I'm one of the kids that grew up in the 60 (born 1957), so I watched The War every night on the news.

I got the first part when the RW group first dropped it. Honestly, I was NOT impressed, either with the aircraft or the terrain mods. Now, that being said there are some nice 'eye candy' pieces that would look good incorporated into other period terrains. But top of the line, no. (now, remember I"m speaking ONLY of this 1st part)

The original WW2 PTO mods were also not that impressive, although, again, having some nice bits. And don't even get me started on YAPs Persian Gulf fiasco.

I do remember their basic tennant --- "we're telling (selling) stories, not the various objects needed to tell them" (or words to that effect)

Swambast makes the point I was trying for, but with better words. No matter how it's sliced, it will still contains "unethicly sourced" items. I remember the raging shitstorm when it was being released for WoV. A large number of you don't.

I would be nice to actually HEAR from the revamp mod group. Things that are, or were, payware at still very much a gray area to us Admins (and modder too!). I know it's something that we'll have to discuss at some point in the future.

found them Sunday. I'll be splitting them into the C1 (ish) and F-21A. I've removed teh canards for the IDF version, and calling the F-21A the C.1P.

yeah! that's got it!!! stangely, i had to lower the mounting position, as it was sitting half-way through the wing. Even this location might be a tidge too low, but.... hey! It's working now!

they're stored in the various Object cat files. You'll have use an extractor (Mues, 3W, etc), to pull them out then place them in their aircraft folder inside the mod folder,and there you can edit them

DOn't forget, you'll also need to edit the loadout ini for each of them, added the "Nuke_Strike" loadout

M3_RPK_C is the one I'm using. Can't remember which Mriage I got it from. Also added the station specific codes, so it meand that I did something wrong in the conversion

found 4 different ones in the Gunny Pack, the C, & V (venezula) 4 bomb, RPK-2br, and RPK TER. I"m gonna have look at all of the (the 2 & 3 are tagged for Venezula. we'll see what happens

As you've all guessed by now, I've been revamping The Mirage Factory birds for SF2. The 5BA for Belguim is the last of the Mirages still to do. However...

for the life of me, I cannot get the RPK10 Kangrou bomb/fuel tank to load. I've updated the "weapon" to SF2 stnadard, double and triple checked everything and not only will it not load and carry the 4 Mk82s, but it don't even show up (as a fuel tank that is. I'm assuming -OH!!! that word!!! -- that the game thinks it's a MER of some type). This IS the BFT that came with the aircraft 'way back when.

anybody got any ideas??? I mean, I could alwasy hang a TER on the inboards, or sling 2 bombs on the centerline only (such a waste to ONLY carry 2 into the heart of the enemy ...but whatever)
