  1. F-22 - Worth It?

It could have been shot down by a Meteor or a Hunter, anything with guns. Not important, no reason to think that you can handle it by just fielding enough F 16's.............
  2. Spring in Germany

Great pics Michael !! Same here, snow in parts of the country, high winds, high chill factor, weather records broken (incredibly too for a highest temperature ever recorded in the beginning of March,,,,) Nature is lagging way behind.
  3. Wow, you're very quick on this one Spinners .......... looks great !!
  4. Everybody hates me

Sorry to say so, but I saw a news item on TV lately, where in a shop they really sold this stuff and parents gave them to 6 year old kids for their birthday....... rather sad thing to see.
  5. Runways can be repaired VERY quickly, matter of hours, with material and machines stored at every airbase....
  6. Maybe a bit high, but to me it looks like the engines ingested birds
  7. Habemus papam

And I am SO glad that they somehow succeeded for one time in keeping Berlusconi out of the whole thing !!!
  8. Habemus papam

He looked quite allright and somehow refreshing, friendly, extraordinary man, could do a lot of good, let's see what will happen.....
  9. Daimler Benz U-Boat recovered.....

A bit sad just the same...
  10. Well, sure a long time ago, must be somewhere BC then....
  11. Cure for an age old problem

    Somehow it stinks ....
  12. This "Natasha" looks very much like Sylvia Kristel, known from the "Emanuelle" series of movies...FYI she died recently.....
  13. Thanks a lot, we don't see many new planes for Gen1 these days. Basically a very nice and neat model, goodlooking, nice pit, flies well. Just a few remarks that will improve it (I guess): engine power should IMHO be something like 2x 24700kN/ 41241kN(AB) according to the AI-222-25F specs (the 2x 106000 kN coresponds with an F15A PW F100-220, giving a somewhat out of this world acceleration ), added MachLimitDry=0.96 and MaxSpeedSL=345 in the Flightcontrol and I have the feeling that the internal fuel should probably be something around 2500 kg instead of 3990 kg (the rather bigger F16 has around 3100kg), but the big picture, for the rest: !!!!!!!!! Thanks again........ (edited on the AB thrust of the AI-222-25F on 14-03)
  14. screenshot's

And if you want two screenshots click twice....
  15. One could tweak the enemy weapon effectiveness in the Weapondata.ini.. (although it's a rather cumbersome operation I guess...)
  16. What, gentlemen, would you suggest to use as centerline fuel tank fot the Viggen? Gripen tank is too flat, Draken tank is too small, maybe Tornado tank or F18 tank? Tried the last two but didn't like them very much.. Any suggestions ?
  17. I think Ravenclaw is involved in that one. Gonna have a look at Svetlins J 10 tank anyway...
  18. Thanks Svetlin, gonna give it a try. Indeed most tanks are longer than required as - what I said - the Viggen tank is very chunky....
  19. Not bad Svetlin, where is that one from ? (or is it maybe an extra for the SF2 version?) The problem with the F16 tank is that it is far too long. The Viggen tank must be one of the shortest 1500l tanks there is... Edit: on second thought: Typhoon ?
  20. Thank you guys, guess the F16 tank with its chopped off rear end probably comes nearest after all, but it could be somewhat more chunky. Gonna try it out......
  21. F16 MLU would probably come cheaply, including support, training and weapons. Gripens would also be a logical choice as Sweden has ordered new ones and is getting rid of the A models.....
  22. That's what I meant Michael, some of the agressive or indifferent performance of the AI may have to do with the nationality and the corresponding pilot skill...Not sure if it works for single missions only once you've made changes. As far as ground control is concerned I can imagine that at least in some area's the N.Vietnamese were able to effectively lead their interceptors as well as warn them against the enemy.
