G940 Profile

Here's my profile. Also, there are two files I tweak for the stick feel. You may want to play with these to tweak the feel to your liking. OPTIONS.INI [ControlOptions] ControlMap=G940.INI Sensitivity=88 DeadZone=10 ForceFeedback=1 ForceFeedbackGain=110 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< TrackIR=1 FLIGHTFFBEFFECT.INI (have to extract) [AeroForce] EffectType=Spring Direction=1,0 Duration=-1 PositiveCoefficient=1.60 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< NegativeCoefficient=1.60 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< DeadBand=0.00 Offset=0.00 UseEnvelope=FALSE There's a lot to tweak in FLIGHTFFBEFFECT.INI, but those are the only two I've changed. Agreed, same complaint with cluster munitions. I had just assumed parked aircraft would be all or nothing. -

DLC 11 Campaign Customizer Released!
JSF_Aggie replied to exhausted's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Agreed Stary. Nothing here you can't do by editing the .INI's, but what you can do, you can do quicker and easier, especially if you're not familer with the campaign files. -
DLC 11 Campaign Customizer Released!
JSF_Aggie replied to exhausted's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I purchased it. It's a quick and easy way to make SOME changes to the player's flight ONLY. It's also a quick way to fly for the RED side. You have to have the RED aircraft of interest already made flyable, or it won't be selectable. Also, if you use it to fly RED, it appears you don't get to pick your squadron, or where you're stationed. It's a nice set of additional campaign options, but it's not a full up campaign editor. You won't be creating any new compaigns from scratch with this. EDIT: It also appears to work fine with 3rd party or modified versions of the stock campaigns. -

File Name: LHA for SF2 File Submitter: JSF_Aggie File Submitted: 05 June 2011 File Category: SF2 Series Add On Objects **************************************************************************** *** LHA Assault Ship For SF2 *** **************************************************************************** This is an update and repaint to Kesselbrut's LHA Assault Ship. HrntFixr's HMLA 269 Cobra skin was used for the static Cobra's. Please do not include in any payware mods. **************************************************************************** *** Installation *** **************************************************************************** Copy the contents of the LHA_SF2 folder into your SF2 MOD folder. **************************************************************************** *** USE *** **************************************************************************** Decals where included for the following ships, make sure "ShipNumber" is correctly set: LHA 1 USS TARAWA LHA 2 USS SAIPAN LHA 3 USS BELLEAU WOOD LHA 4 USS NASSAU LHA 5 USS PELELIU AI aircraft do not use thrust vectoring, so there are workarounds used. Catapults are used so they will get airborne, and arrestor cables are used to get them back aboard. The two parked AV-8B's are placed there via catapults 5 & 6. These catapults have an infinate launch time. This means you have to have 6 members in your flight for them to show, and #5 & #6 will never take off, unless you <ALT+N>. Remove the two lines from LHA_DATA.INI if you don't want cat's 5 & 6: SystemName[008]=Cat5 SystemName[009]=Cat6 "Carrier_Take-Off Harrier.MSN" is included as an example. You have to have the stock VietnamSEA terrain and the AV-8B_da aircraft for the mission to show up in-game. Finally, some of the textures are extremely large. Down-size them if needed. Post at CombatAce if you have any other questions. Click here to download this file

Thanks, good to know. I hadn't checked that it was still working properly with the May 11th patch. -
Un-freakin-believable!!! My daughter asked me before the series, "If they win, can we go to the parade?" I said, "sure....if they win, we'll go."
