Air control! Do you know what does it mean? I get the feeling this sim is not entirely realistic... This is sold on Steam, by the way.
-
You want random? Here's random -> http://store.steampowered.com/app/281580/ TK doesn't know about it most likely.

Blue, yellow, red messages
Gr.Viper replied to Rexor's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Sadly the director of TW is also the guy who does the patches, and he can't be arsed. -
ToH is 90% off for a week, on Steam. http://store.steampowered.com/app/65730 I'm still not quite sold on it...

Planes value
Gr.Viper replied to Hans Topp's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
It's calculated based on some of the plane's statistics, I believe. The exact formula is unknown (to me) and possibly hardcoded. A while ago a Harrier could cost less than a Hunter, and a prop-driven plane could have a massive price tag, thanks to the great endurance. -
In addition to the other events happening in Ukraine, a small Crimean town got taken over by tumbleweed Just open the link and check out the pictures http://yevpatoriya.biz/proisshestviya/3265-poselok-mirnyj-atakovali-rasteniya.html I never Imagined, these things pile together so well

White Sun of the Desert? But it's a whole genre, really https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ostern
-
Funny thing, the tumbleweed was accidentally imported into the US from the steppes. It's native to places like Crimea, not to the Wild West Herds of tumbleweed everywhere, the thunder of their bouncing rolling through the valleys, and a few desperate men standing between them and the town's only grocery store.

"This Campaign is finished"
Gr.Viper replied to JakeGrafton's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I haven't touched it in ages. I just remembered, that someone complained about LB II ending after a raid or two in a recent thread. -
"This Campaign is finished"
Gr.Viper replied to JakeGrafton's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
The plain "campaign finished" sometimes comes, because the carrier leaves the map, doesn't it? -

Day and Night missions
Gr.Viper replied to a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Bear is mind, that the AI sees just as well during the night as during the day. You can even change the time of the day, while on a mission, by hitting Alt+C enough times. So, day vs night is not a thing this game handles well. -
Is this a new fashion trend? http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/local/wp/2013/10/04/police-respond-to-reports-of-man-on-fire-on-mall

But where to find a vat big enough? By the way http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/10/03/us-usa-capitol-shooting-idUSBRE9920W520131003 Wasn't there something in your constitution about keeping weapons in case of idiots in charge?

Beware of the Canadian spies disguised as local residents, who may attempt to refuel and rearm the drones with "bread".

"The last" and "the latest" are the same word in Russian, and get mixed up in translations all the time. Might be the case here.

Engaging Bombers
Gr.Viper replied to TeaAndScones's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I thought Tu-22 impenetrable arse was fixed? It could take a quad dose of 'winders there without flinching. At least it's just shells back there, not shells+chaff rounds or flares which were available for the 23mm cannons. -
It could've been a sweet, sweet deal.
